At last.A post surely everyone can agree with.

Roll on October when we can get back to talking about playing football again.

Love it! One of things that amused my wife and myself down here in the London area was the "discovery", about 10-15 years ago, of porridge as a "superfood". We had the very rapid spread of porridge outlets, in cafes, health food bars, and railway station stalls, all selling this wonderstuff to the trendy young professionals heading to their offices and trading floors in the City, in Canary Wharf, and so on. What used to horrify us was the stuff that was added to it to make it attractive (or just edible). Looking at just one website, I can see, amongst many others, porridge with: almond milk oats, butter, hazelnuts, cinnamon coconut palm sugar and apple fig, agave and chia seeds date molasses and Medjool dates vanilla cream, cocoa nibs, chia, banana mature coconut, dates, almonds, apple, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, hemp seeds, cacao and blueberries. Personally, I can't stand the stuff

Not quite related to the thread, but couldn't find anywhere else to put it. But C*unty's most famous thing to happen to them since...err...

I'm sure the Ross County fans weren't offended, but that's not really the point. To take a topical example, if the team formerly known as the Washington Redskins were playing the Chicago Bears and the Bears fans starting chanting "dirty Indian ********" at the Redskins fans, the Redskins fans probably wouldn't be too bothered. But can you imagine being a Native American at the game or watching on TV? Anti-traveller racism is clearly a problem in the north of Scotland (see below from prominent elected representative and crap linesman, Douglas Ross) and some of our support have played a part in perpetuating that in the past. https://twitter.com/leomiklasz/status/1288900494996496385?s=20 The problem is that if it is condoned it inevitably leads to it being viewed as acceptable behaviour amongst a minority of our support and therefore our community in other situations. For example, take this incident where Romanian players were abused purely on the basis of where they were from. There's plenty of scope to give them stick without resorting to stuff like this. Just focus on cuddly Uncle Roy.
