  1. Bezares - http://youtu.be/PrGuZtZdldI and Etienne Barbara http://youtu.be/mDQPjcru3jE thoughts?
  2. Heard that he apparently head butted one of his own players today (either Commons or Hooper). If reports are correct he will no longer be Celtic manager after Thursday night.
  3. I have read a lot of posts this week that makes reference to the "Andrew Shinnie haters". I don't believe such a thing exists, however until Saturday v St Mirren I had yet to be impressed by him. I was at Tannadice where he was one of several players that were very poor. He did not recieve abuse from the fans, but people were shouting their opinions which weren't particularly positive, (not only about him). The problem was that Andrew Shinnie's mother turned and confronted a group of fans, which led to a bit of an ongoing **** take. Relax Andrew, every player is only as good as his last game and after your performance on sat if you produce more of the same you're laughing! :)
  4. Thinking I might just do that. How many have you got room for? Thinking on asking 2 or 3 pals plus myself.
  5. How's the numbers looking Don?
  6. The atmosphere was wid enough that managed to lose the only set of car keys i have! This led to mass panic in an already panicked house before i phoned the stadium and was told that a steward had handed them in! Well done that steward!

You beat me to it Yngwie! Congratulations on the new addition! :o)
  8. Or at least I'm assuming so as I saw him leaving the club today with all his training gear.
  9. While disappointed at yesterdays result, i think we need to keep it in perspective - Their first goal was incredibly lucky, missed the second as I was taking a pish and the third was an absolute peach. We have a brand new team which will take time to gel, Tade has missed a lot of pre season and was clearly unfit, but showed enough to suggest he'll be a real handful. Tansey looked good and Aldred is no worse than his predessors. However - Johnny Hayes looked completely cufuddled as to where he was meant to be playing and ended up being completely ineffective, Proctor - well enough said. But my two biggest disappointments of the day were the performances of A shinnie and N Ross. THe game passed them by completely. Roll on Saturday, I still have plenty of belief left. P.s i thought the atmosphere was excellent yesterday - the stewards left the noisy stander uppers to it which was great. I've had some torrid experiences at Fir Park in the past, so credit to the stewards where its due.

Just wondeing if anyone knows what our highest ever points total in the spl. I'm sure i'd be able to find out if I took the time, but I'm being lazy!!
  11. Story on front page of this weeks highland news.
  12. Makes me wonder how different our season would have been had Johnny been fit for it's entirity. Wonder how much truth there is in the rumour that the injury he has was sustained on xmas night out as a result of too much beer juice?
  13. Gillet also on the bench.
  14. According to mfr Gillet IS on the bench today.
  15. Our horrendous injury list has been well documented this season, but i wondered exactly how many injuries we've had and whether the injuries suffered were from match play or from training ground. Feel free to add to those who i will undoubtedly miss out. David Proctor - type of injury? unsure. training ground or match? not sure Graham Shinnie - unsure Gil Blumehstein - unsure Kenny Gillet - Knee injury - training ground - i think Johnny Hayes - Ankle injury - alcohol fuelled injury, i mean training ground injury. Aron Dorran - unsure Richie Foran - stomach injury - training or match - not sure Nick Ross - unsure Danni Sanchez - Broken hand - match injury Chris Innes - Hamstring injury? - Match injury
  16. Would be great to see as many people as possible attend this as it's for such a great cause. I'm hoping to be there, but am currently signed off work feeling miserable. :(
  17. The Celtic team are already in Sneck and are staying in Kingsmills Hotel. I stay up in the Westfield area of Culloden and the snow here is really bad and still falling.
  18. Johnboy, you make comment re the "claim" about domestic abuse rising considerably following an old filth game. What reasons do you have to doubt such a claim. It has long been accepted that this is indeed the case in and around Glasgow. I also ask you to spare a thought for all the police and ambulance staff who have to deal with fall out and to all those families who have to deal with the aftermath of the violence this game brings. Do you also dispute the "claim" of a senior strathclyde police officer who stated that there was not an empty cell in or around Glasgow following the last old filth game.
  19. I hope you have the time of your life.

I agree with you Richard but I keep waiting for Shane to get that elusive first goal of the season. Think it'll do wonders for his confidence. Eric has shown little in last few games, and as suggested earlier, perhaps Shane stands out in training, but he's not going to get a chance at CF unless there are injuries or suspension to Rooney or Foran.
  21. More of the same tonight i'm afraid :(
  22. For what it's worth - i think we played some of the best football for a while tonight, even after the red card. Rooney's run and shot deserved a goal. By the time they scored their second goal Aberdeen had only had two shots on target. Worrying run though, things need to pick up. Most clubs have a bad run, and if we can come through a 11 or 12 game bad run and remain in 5th or 6th place then we should be lucky.
  23. Blumenshtein won't get a chance. On his way out.
  24. So what's up with our captain? First it was Grant who's game suffered when he was made captain, now it's Foran. Foran looks a shadow of the player he was in the last couple of seasons. He was always one of battlers and fighters in our team, but this season i've noticed him offer little in the way of support to our young players. Instead he seems very quick to criticise them. Is the responsibility to much for him, or has he never recovered fully from his stomach injury at the end of last season. Also if he's such an influential player then why has Butcher taken him off so often in recent games?
