  1. defo what i saw and brew training with them. and it WAS the 19s
  2. I thought you might know, your guess is as good as mine.
  3. Fraser Proctor McGuire Munro Hastings Cowie Duncan McBain Imrie Bayne Niculae Subs. Tokely, Hart, Vigurs, McAllister, Zibi, Kerr and Wyness.....Black not available training with 19,s
  4. George McNeil originally comes from tranent, i believe that is blackies home town, i wonder if he knows him?
  5. smee, flower been here before, not biased, realistic
  6. lets hope you are right ronaldo
  7. yes i was at the game or at least i was there to watch 22 people( not players) run, if you can call it that, about a park and that includes blackie. i have checked again only to be told the strip wasn't thrown down it was dropped, do i believe it, well, i will give him the benefit of the doubt because of late he has been controlling his behavior, thousands wouldn't, after discussing the match and previous matches, i believe him to be frustrated with his own performance and the performance of the team, i stand by what i said, the team talk after the game, if my team, they would have been given 5mins to contact family to tell them they didn't know when they would be home and they would still be there now. can i also ask why blackie every week when the likes of duncan who cant pass a ball to an ict player stays on, let me answer that, because they dont want to upset duncan who is yet to decide if he wants to put on an ict strip.
  8. Agree with most of the comments, let me set the record straight, 1. He took his top off on his way up the tunnel, he DID NOT throw it away, 2, he then appeared 10mins later and sat in the stand and watched the game with his father, 3, he then went into the DRESSING ROOM did not leave before the fans, I think Brewsters problem with the after the game team talk only seems to take minutes, if it had been me they would still be there, he is frustrated, passionate, he does a good job but he is only one person he cant do the job of half a dozen players.
  9. They made enquiries last season only to be told he was NOT for sale but yes it is worrying and if you look at their fans web site they are keen to get him and as i said previously he can sign pre contract this Xmas and if you look at his date of birth he goes for nothing, yes i would agree, it is worrying.
  10. he has said he doesn't want to leave, really settled, daughter registered at school for next year or rather term, but i imagine salaries will come into it, he could sign pre contract at Xmas, we need him in the team, lets hope CB feels the same.
  11. best player in the first half and if what i am told is correct he has been told to do just as he's been told
  12. why get upset, no one has come in for him to date
  13. we need more up front, gutsy players, greedy for the ball , out and out strikers, what about Liam Buchanan, he bangs them in every week, CC missed out on him, CB should make a move for him before the window closes in January.
  14. whatever sophie, they say sarcasm is the highest form of wit and wit is the lowest form of intelligence, but seeing as i am bitting each time you write, i will now refrain from answering your petty comments, your kind i can do without. Gillian
  15. Sorry slow today didn't catch on, No not related, but could be given even half a chance, not even too old, and you know what they say the older the fiddle the better the tune,
  16. No i hadn't heard but have since spoken to my pals from east lothian and he is okay, a bit battered and bruised, stiff, but still determined to turn out for us, nice to hear and read everyones concerns for the wee man, oops with the exception of sophie
  17. Jonyboy, you have a point, however, as well as being the best we've got he is also the best looking, kinda hard to take your eyes off him, but point taken, i also like rankin, i felt we should have tried harder to keep him, and he's not bad looking either, procter when he is on form, and gets a game, the one i miss is dodsy, i thought he was terrific, and with nurturing fraser can do well.
  18. wee blackie definitely, he took them as a youngster and the comment i made earlier about his pal, if he missed Liam Buchanan took over, what a combination
  19. I think Brew has made a big mistake here, but more worryingly hibs coming in for blackie, this would be a disaster, as for replacing ranks, cc had the chance to sign wee blackies pal Liam Buchanan one of the top scorers to date, not all brews fault but he better make sure we don't loose blackie.
  20. in answer to your quote, NO we shouldn't be , however on a positive note, he did okay in the first half, capable of a lot better, first class the second half, well done to blackie and the whole team, keep up the good work.
  21. Blackie isn't from Edinburgh he is from East Lothian, and he,s happy where he is, we should be encouraging him, he is in a class of his own, well done, the rest of the squad. p.s. East Lothian is about 12mls from Edinburgh
  22. a reliable source told me that they (hibs) were told to go for blackie he is the threat, stop him, anything you have to do, do it, but correct, it didn't work, he was class yesterday, broke up the play, and they were killing him, but i still think he is holding back, i don't care if hes booked so long as it is his feet he is using and not his mouth, though i wouldn't admit it, i don't believe i could have kept my mouth shut. well done wee man, a class act, and well done to the rest of the team.
