  1. who won player of the month for october?
  2. I couldn't agree more, you are spot on, However, the point I am making is there is ALWAYS an element of truth in what they are saying, and again the point I am making IS Blackie could have played on Tuesday, the question is would he have changed the result, A Huge Possibility, do we continue to be on the receiving end of Brews Ego or do we try to do something about it, again the question is what, I will say again, I believe, Brew may have what it takes to be a good manager, but his personal feelings MUST be left at the door when he enters ICT stadium, he also needs decent back up around him, the numpties he has are useless, whatever he feels about Blackie has to be put aside for the best of the team, a manager in whatever field, Has to be able to look past the insecurities he has, listen to advice, take it on board, and lets face it who better than the players themselves to tell him what is wrong, the decision at the end of the day, IS STILL HIS, I want him to take advice but make his own decisions, BUT NOT at the expense of OUR team. Blackie is a hot head, and lets face it we are missing that at the moment, he is passionate about what he does, good at it, and he tells it as it is, some will say it is because he is young, immature, well even if it is I dont know if I want that to change, the bottom line, end result, whatever you want to call it HE wasn't playing on Tuesday, and he should have been, and IT MIGHT have kept us in the cup< and IF playing today he might help us win or draw or be part of the loosing side, which ever way we need him like it or not. I wont be discussing this any further, I seem to be hitting a brick wall, and it is only my personal opinion, I only ask that the interview be read and people make up their own minds, and yes remembering that reporters will write what they feel will sell newspapers, but with a big hint of truth in it and that for me at least, is worrying.
  3. So my info was correct, has anyone read the DAILY MAIL page 117, this beggars belief, to quote the reporter, ""surprisingly dropped his fine form in the urrent campaign made his midwek exclusion all the more galling."" Galling is not the word I would use, sheer madness or is it again that he cant stand Blackie, he is, one of the best we have he is a play maker, passes well, can read the game, for f--- s--- what are we doing, why is this happening, I am sitting here this morning, greeting my eyes oot, the frustrating thing is I can do nothing, we can do nothing, will he play him today, ? Yes I think so, not to play him is, for Brew, the biggest mistake of his career, ""Blacks futures far from certain"" why is this? again I say I told you so. I agree , Blackies one of our best players in fact probably the best we've got , i really hope he signs new contract I think we all agree, have you read the paper, to say I am gutted is putting it mildly, Brew neds to put his personal feelings aside and think of the team, can I say if I was him I would be thinking of myself and playing my best players, I am only there as long as I can produce the results. Read the paper, even if it is paper talk and the reporter is mis quoting there is still an element of truth in it, I am not looking at this as a conspiracy or being contreversal, I am facing facts, read the interview and then say I am being contriversal.

  6. Not what I hear, though still a wee bit sore, not sore enough Not to play, I believe he thought he would be in the squad, so what happened, yet to find out, when I do i'll let you know, and you are spot on we did miss him. Big time.
  7. His ego has always been the problem, thwart him and you are out, as even some of the players have found out. Parky was pushed out because he had more knowledge, skill, compassion, and most importantly he had the respect of the players and Would NOT say YES to Brew, and Brew was not going to let this happen, Malky was brought back, because he makes Brew look good, or at least thats what Brew believes, take last weeks game, Malky spent more time facing the crowd sprouting P*** trying to convince us he knows what he is talking about, NOT Brews down fall will be he surrounds himself with a*** holes who have no experience or knowledge of the game, if he had the likes of Parky he could have bounced decisions off him, if he could get rid of the Look at Me I am the Manager syndrome, and share and listen to others including the players and their opinions he could go further, unfortunatly he has neither the mentality or insight to be able to see or understand this. A good manager has to be able to listen, and learn from others, every day, you need to be able to earn respect and this comes from respecting others, a skill that has to be learned. Take a bow! For any particular part, or just all of it, thanks anyway, shame no one will listen and do something about it, we do pay the wages after all.

  9. agree again, beginning to sound pathetic, i had a long chat with an annonomous friend today, blackie perhaps was having a brainstorming day, why was that, he hasnt had one for a long time, and only 2 yellow cards this season, well below others in the team, so the question is why, the answer i got i couldnt put in here, but what i can say is it seems perfectly feesable to me, but he needs to deal with it differently, my concern is he would be dropped to the reserves again. Could someone translate Gillians post for me please? Ever heard of full stops Gillian? Let me, if Blackie was to come out and say why he was having a bad day, or I put on here what is being said and he dealt with it by confronting the other parties, he would be playing for the reserves. At least that is my opinion, so he dealt with his frustrations in the wrong way, but at present it is (or the only way he feels he can) his way of dealing with it, i believe it to be the wrong way, but im not in his shoes, he was called a trouble maker the last time, disrespectful and all the rest. Still he needs to find another way of dealing with his feelings instead of wearing them on his sleeve for every one too see. And yes I can use full stops, but it takes longer. Oh - I can understand yer post and I can sense Ian's frustrations - yet another testament to Brews lack of man management skills and his inability or arrogance to play our potential match winner in a role that would bring the best out of him and benefit the team. He was played in a role to stifle Cellic which was negative and prevented him from playing football - again Brew got it all wrong OR was trying to prove a personal point again. Ian Black's talent is being stifled and that is a footballing sin. Comment Gillian ?? sent in a post IMH but it hasnt appeared, sorry.

  14. I?d like to see Rooney given a run of games ? he looks more hungry, does more running and links better with the wide players. Obviously, he?s not proven as a goalscorer, but neither is Barrowman. In my view, Wood did much better than expected on Saturday and caused Celtic's defence some problems. He needs to work on his first touch though as too many times he got himself in a good position around the edge of the box but lost the ball by just failing to control it. He looked more assured once Rooney was on with him. How can anybody be as thick as they look ? No I think it will come out before any individuals move on But some of us know already but are under censure to keep their gobs shut !! IMH as usual I agree with most of what you have said, he changes the team and the positions every week, and not for the better, if it is working why change it, not my usual stance, however he needs to let the team gel, stop them becoming frustrated, leading to fall outs, he dosnt seem to be able to cope with competition and I dont mean the visiting teams.
  15. IHE my son is a daughter, but thanks, her shoulder is fine, Blackies on the other hand not so sure, it was a bad one, but as long as he is fit for the celtic game, when you say good feed back do you agree with it all or just some of it, I try and to be honest I get tired repeating myself but week after week I despair, I think when I see the starting 11, Yes, 45mins later or should I say 75mins later, for F--- S--- has he had a mental block
  16. My analysis of the game, Fraser-good game, no chance with first goal, the result of Duff's inexperience,no help from defence for the second goal, otherwise a good game, Tokely-running up and down the park(his usual self) gets no where (again as usual) posted missing on a number of occassions, Duff-his inexperience showed, resulting in the first goal, however has a lot of potential, probably more than McGuire and Munro, better football player, where were the experienced players, they should be helping him, Munro-did OK!,still wondering if he can actually play the beloved game, his left foot MUST be sore, the number of times he BOOTS the ball up the park beggers belief, can he PASS the ball,( I keep repeating myself), I have yet to see it, Hastings-tries to play football, tries to pass the ball, lacks concentration at times when defending, can cost us, Imrie-busy on the park, his final ball always lets him down, McBain-Busy, good going forward, but old legs getting weary, Cowie-Busy,worked hard, put himself about, with no end results, Vigurs- good game, composed, tries to play football, needs the assistance of the experienced players, good potential, if mentored correctly, Blackie-shakey in the first 5 mins, then became composed, used the ball well, covered the park, definetly lost it when he went off, Bannerman-didnt work hard enough, flatters to decieve, needs to be stronger when the ball is played into his feet, or body, didnt do anything yesterday, I thought he should have scored, but didnt want to get dirty. Yet again Brew's subs?
  17. If only you were right, but unfortunatly on this occassion I dont think so
  18. has any one read the daily record this morning, blackie saying club have NOT approached him yet, looks as if source may bee onto something, blackie saying he wants to sort things out, then why are we stalling, sad day for us if he goes.
  19. can you tell me, is this why the match thread from yesterday etc is missing?
  20. As much as it may make me sound like a total b*****d, there's no "battle of wills" to be won here. We have always, where possible, tried to respect the private lives of players/staff at the stadium when it came to unfounded rumours. That will not change and if people want to continue to make extra work for the site moderators when we have made it perfectly clear that we will not allow it then they will simply have their posting privileges removed. Our stance on this is not open to discussion or any attempts at "Mob Rule" and the situation will not be allowed to escalate to the position it did yesterday when the few moderators who were around spent more time clearing up after people who can't respect a simple request than they did following the match and having what should have been an enjoyable afternoon listening to ICT winning a game in great fashion. These guys were far more tolerant than I would have been had I not been away most of the weekend and they got no thanks for it from a handful of site users...I won't allow that to continue. Caley D, have I upset some one, I have a warn notice under my name al be it, it is at 0%, why is this?
  21. from a source, that i believe to be reliable, todays decisions by brew made it clear, blackie not being considered for a new contract.
  22. I stand corrected Calley 100, you are right wrong choice of words, but sh---, or give me strength, or geeees what the h---,is this enough and I am not being sarcastic, oh and the daughter has deleted her spell check before I am picked up for the spelling, not one of my strong points.
  23. I agree with most of the above, sitting in the car, and to say I am devestated is putting it mildly,McBain should have stayed on and Barrowman was having a holocost but Rooney was doing okay, gaining in confidence, and Black was the best player on the pitch and I dont mean just for ICT I mean the pitch, and did Brew hear the boo's No I dont think he did, and even if he did, what does he care, and leaving it too late, well isnt that the story of ICT lives, I could go on and on and on and on but what is the point, unless Brew is trying to tell us something.
  24. I BELIEVE IT MAY BE ALREADY TOO LATE, AS THE SAYING GOES IF YOUR NOT FAST YOU ARE LAST, YHE STORY OF OUR LIVES,
