You're probably right, ours is pretty crap for the EssPeeEll but a lot of visiting fans like it cos it's unusual and charming and all that cack. Plus this season they usually get a result to cheer them up...... Worst in Scotland though must be Central Park. Closely run by Cliftonhill and the Recs. One December I went to see ICT at Central Park. I think Santa on his sleigh in the High Street got a bigger crowd than the game.

I just don't think the market for football in the highlands is that big. There's only room for 1 top class side and that's speaking as somebody who loves the derbies. A few years ago when we were selling our best players and were struggling financially it looked like they might take over our position but it wasn't to be. We turned it around. Hate C(o)unty? Don't be daft. We are bigger and better so they hate us. Bitterly. That's how it works. For 12 years now they've been trying all kinds of propaganda, eg HFA, inflated crowds etc, to talk themselves up. All this while throwing money at the problem but now the chickens have come home to roost. But for a couple of circumstances it would have been Elgin anyway.

The Blue Brazil game was actually 4-3 not 3-2. I remember Jimbo saving a pen against DUFC in the cup but not Rangers. It was a win at Stenny that set up the Rangers game in 95-6 when we were in div 3. DUFC was in 97-98 when we were at the arse end of div 2.
