  1. The highlights don't show what a bright start we made. They do show a certain Mr Wyness helping to rip apart his old club.......
  2. Well I see Elgin are oot anyway. 2-1 to the Sons of Spart.
  3. You old fecker, make that trip this season.
  4. I don't see anybody laughing. Care to expand? By your lack of a reply to my question on the 'genius' thread, I take it you missed that gutless performance on Saturday. I've seen ICT play regularly since the East Stirling game back in 1994. Till now there's only been one direction - upward. Brewster and his assistant will take us back to div 1 and oblivion, just like our near neighbours. By all means disagree, but stop the patronising drivel and back up your arguments with a bit of substance. For all your complaints about people ganging up on Brewster I think there are more like me who have found this season so depressing they can hardly be bothered so are actually letting him off lightly. Now where's those avatars? I'm getting one. The Mantis (PRO-ICT).
  5. Wot no Duncan? Worth mentioning McGuire had a good saving tackle on Denzil in the first half at 0-0.
  6. The forum is remarkably quiet tonight. The manager and the muppet assistant are lucky it was an away game with just a couple of hundred there.
  7. Well I'll be up next week for the first home game in a while, just for the crack and the laughs, and to celebrate getting the holidays the day before, so let's stuff the Dons. I'm no letting the manager and his muppet assistant spoil my weekend though.
  8. Were you at the game today caller?
  9. There were hardly enough there to get a decent chant going. Everybody was so cold and scunnered by the end they just filed away. Played well for 15 mins then lost a goal on the break when McGuire was exposed trying to match Dornan for pace. Apart from lacking a bit of fitness, McGuire wasn't bad. I thought Duncan was our best player. Rooney was completely anonymous. Barrowman tried a bit more than usual but that's not saying much. I thought Blackie was quiet today and picked the wrong pass a lot. Proctor reasonable at LB but a total lack of belief in the whole team once we went a goal down. I thought the midfield was invisible in the second half but mind you they hardly got any ball, what with the back four just punting it back to the Midden every time they broke up an attack. Total mince, even worse than the Midden pies. Should have stayed in the Alamo. Denzil watch - well marshalled in the first half by McGuire and Proctor. Second half he got room to show the skills he's undoubtedly got and he was playing deep and picking us off. Taking the pish basically. Ah well thanks for the tickets at least Denzil. Dargo got on but had little time to inflict any damage. That's another dire Saturday over then. We're going down. Brew has to do us a favour and go now or our dear wee club is set to do a County.
  10. I thought this was a new thread ;) :thumb04: :018: I recognised the Boddies being off in the Hunting Lodge and the Killie pies being lukewarm from a fortnight ago........
  11. I'm washing mine tonight so I can make it tomorrow. Mr Naelifts will also be in attendance.
  12. Well, well, well....... Fancy coming in the away end tomorrow?
  13. Who was your best mate at primary school?
  14. As you once said of a more primitive offering of mine, a thing of rare beauty. Well done Gordy.
  15. Ha! Not the first time either :thumb04: :018:
  16. The Mantis

    lose

    I blame Mannies teacher's.
  17. Hundreds of class moments going back to div 3. Remember the Saw Doctors in Stornoway in July 97 when Wayne Addicoat was pished and I gave youse a lift. Great banter with your maw and paw at the games and thanks for all the comps. I'll no even charge you for the photo on your Bebo site. Cheers Barry, you're a legend.
  18. Best laugh I've had all week. :thumb04: ;) Was tempted to edit Yngwie's original post to include an anti-brew message :018: Nearly forgot - Brew Out!
  19. Followed the link but no mention of Barry now.
  20. To be fair, he's probably right up there with the best players who've ever worn the jersey, even if he was past his best.
  21. I'm trying hard to look at this from Brewster's point of view. He sinks or swims as a manager by making his own decisions and there's no room for sentiment. If he's staying at the club long term he needs to be surrounded by his own men and Baz certainly isn't one of those. However, bottom line: I think the club would be better off if Brewster left, not Baz.
  22. No surprises here: Yes, go.
  23. The Mantis

    4 home wins

Since you're a new poster you're forgiven for not seeing the irony of that :thumb04: :018: ;) :015:
  24. Naw he's too old for that :thumb04: :018: ;) :015: :D :P :021:
  25. Aye, they all were. But that was 4 months ago. Unlike his lack of effort...... Sorry, I've still to see what made Brewster chase him for months and offer him such a decent contract. More so given the system that Brewster seems intent on playing. Even the County fans could see his shortcomings. Never mind, he'll come in handy in div 1.
