  1. Dillies was indeed the Douglas Hotel with the Pink Panther nightclub. I think it was also a failed private club called Cheval. Not sure of the dates though...
  2. I've seen lots of top bands live. Was at Wembley for Live Aid. Most recent were Rod Stewart, Cher and Black eyed Peas in Victoria, U2 in Vancouver. Was at The Who last Sunday and will be at Rolling Stones on November 3rd. I have the Live Aid DVD set. Prezzy from oldest son a couple of years ago. Great when youv'e had a few brewskys and the boys are over.
  3. Corect answer is a retake of the goal kick. The ball is not in play until it is outside the box. You may recall a few years back a goalie took a short kick to the full back. The opposing player was too close so the defender intercepted the ball before it left the box. thus a retake.
  4. Any news of someone coming in?
  5. Charles I'd love to agree with you but i know plenty of old ba5tards that are just not willing to set foot in ICT, as stubborn as it sounds they'd rather watch clach!! I also agree with you on this Harry. My cousin and uncle will only go when Rangers are in town. Even when my brother was playing for ICT. he also played for Caley, Thistle and Clach.
  6. Great memories. Do you remember the ice cream shop on Grieg St. Also the Pagliaci's wee blue vans had really great ice cream. Mike's also did the rounds. Capaldi's ice cream came from Brora. I think ahrry Gow's have bought that business over.
  7. Was on a cruise 3 weeks ago. Seattle and area next week and will be heading to Cabo san Lucas, Mexico early September.

  15. At least we got the 3 points
  16. This one is easy. $1.5mil would generate $9,000 per month without eating into the principle. Retire and travel morwe than i do now. I could get home to more games.
  17. 3 points required. Don't care who is in the team.
  18. For sure.
  19. Friend of mine is part of the broascast team. He spends summers in Victoria and winters in T & T. He is geared for the trip.
  20. Good response to keep to team together. too much pressure at the "bigger" club. we have been consistently successful
  21. The old baths were a blast. You could stay in as long as the mannie didna look at yer pruned hands. Then you got a clip round yer ear and sent to get changed. Usually by that time you had forgotten the wee number.
  22. Great new site. well done to all
  23. There are a couple of teams in Victoria that could give the boys a work out.
