New Away Strip
I think they are both cracking kits. would be delighted to have either one as our strip. Chances of us ever having both in the same season? I would say there's as much chances of that as there is Derek Adams becoming a humble and gracious in defeat manager!

Jonny Tuffey
My opening post wasn't really hinting towards Tuffey coming back but such a move has been ruled out anyway by the club: http://www.highland-news.co.uk/Sport/Football/Inverness-Caley-Thistle/Butcher-tips-Doran-for-more-magic-29052013.htm

The "Who Should We Sign" Thread
Priced out of the wages? Cause his contract is expiring at Dundee He couldn't have been on a huge wage at Dundee and I hear St Midden are sniffing about, surely we would be able to match their wage offerings? On his day he is a player who I'd love to have at ICT, creative, attack minded and with a sweet shot on him. However having spoken to Dundee fans I know he is too inconsistent and drifts out of games too often. Didn't perform at the top of his game anywhere near regularly enough

Jonny Tuffey
Being released by St Johnstone this summer Shame it didnt work out for him after leaving us. Always thought he had the makings of a great keeper and i'm sure if he had the patience to stay on with us that he would have been first choice within a couple of seasons

Aaron Doran - 3 Year Deal
Delighted that he has signed such a long contract by our usual standards Doran has been highly effective and creative this year and the fact that he finished the season as the second highest assister in the SPL goes to show how crucial he has been to our success this season. He still has time ahead of him to add goals to his game and thankfully those years will be with us Well done to those involved in getting him tied to a long contract

The "Who Should We Sign" Thread
On the face of it, that's a really uninspiring list of names when you look at the low level they have all been playing at and their general lack of experience. However, it speaks volumes that the fans here aren't raging about it (like many were last summer) now that we've seen how successful our management team have been in picking up gems from the bottom end of the market. I'll try to find an online link but knowing the P&J it either wont be put online or will be for online subscribers only The article also mentioned that whilst we have managed to retain the core of last years first team Terry is very happy with the amount of experience we currently have in the team, this suggests to me that this summers transfer dealings will be primarily younger or inexperienced players. You hit the nail on the head, I think after last years relative success in plucking a few gems from obscurity then we are a lot more patient and trusting when it comes to unknown signing players without a big reputation.

5 times!
I had no idea we had been so close on so many occasions, amazing to think we have been challenging for European football on quite a few occasions given how young our club is. Testament to how far this club has come in its short history

The "Who Should We Sign" Thread
Today's Press and Journal reports that while deals have been agreed with Adam Evans, Ben Greenhalgh and Danny Williams, three more players have agreed to sign deals once their current contracts expire, reportedly at the beginning of June. Obviously seeing as they are still contracted to their respective clubs their names cannot be revealed at present. Seems to be a lot of speculation that James Vincent may be one, Robbie Thomson possibly another?

Glad to hear he's still on trial, hopefully push through a deal. I saw a video of his highlights on YouTube and he seems like a cracking young keeper Ben Greenhalgh who is joining in the summer can play on either flank so it would seem we will have plenty options in that area next season Given that the only player to impress out in wide areas has been Doran then I can see why Butcher feels the need to strengthen the squad in that area. Hope that the striking department is another area which is strengthened, we need reinforcements to provide back up for injury, competition for Billy and some one that can compete for high balls should we unfortunately go down that route again next year

A to Z with Inverness Richie Foran
Brilliant, slaughtered pretty much everyone in there!

Chris Hogg
A little bit more info on the situation in today's Inverness Courier. It would seem that the club did offer Hogg a 1 year deal to stay with us however Terry could not guarantee him football with the emergence of Meekings and Warren as our first choice centre half partnership. It is the lack of first team guarantees for next season that led to the decision not to re-sign with the club. Understandable decision really Will get an online link if/when the courier puts the article up

Steve Marsella
Just found this article about Steve and it shows how much work he does behind the scenes scouting for us. Doing a marvellous job for us and we are very lucky to have him http://www.examiner.co.uk/huddersfield-town-fc/huddersfield-town-news/2013/05/17/ex-huddersfield-town-man-steve-marsella-is-making-an-impression-at-inverness-caledonian-thistle-86081-33342026/ one sentence which caught my eye was this: keep up the good work sir
