  1. Thanks, just had a quick look at the Killie v Stenhousemuir highlights in the last round, Stenny certainly look a difficult team to beat. Main thing from last night was getting through, hopefully we get a favourable tie in the next round and improve our performance
  2. Anyone know if highlights (so to speak) are available?
  3. HT: 1-0 FT: 2-1 1st ICT: Pepper 1st Opp: Russell Crowd: 3900
  4. HT: 1-1 FT: 2-2 1st ICT: Foran 1st Opp: Vigurs Crowd: 6950 1st Yellow Card: Foran
  5. HT: 0-1 FT:1-3 1st ICT: Foran 1st Opp: Kean Crowd: 701
  6. Inverness County??
  7. Does that mean Butcher has gone off his 4-2-3-1 formation then? Always thought Pepper was an attacking player rather than holding midfielder
  8. Hibernian starting 11 v Inverness CT: Williams, Clancy, McPake, Hanlon, Maybury, Wotherspoon, Deegan, Claros, Cairney, Doyle, Caldwell.
  9. subs: Reguero, McKay, Oswell, Morrison, Roberts, Brislen-Hall, Cooper Very very young bench, quite attacking i have to say though
  10. Couldnt see a match thread, mods feel free to merge or whatever Startlinh line up: Esson; Raven, Meekings, Warren, Blackman, Doran, Pepper, Draper, G. Shinnie, A. Shinnie, Foran. not sure of the formation though. Pepper up front alone?
  11. swap griffiths with doyle dont seem to be able to edit my original post Maybe you should just leave it, Griffiths is not playing, out injured
  12. Glad to hear that Leigh Griffiths has been ruled out for this game. He is a definite threat to most teams in the SPL, hopefully it nullifies the goalscoring edge that Hibs have had recently
  13. Glad to see the injury is not as bad as first feared. Hope he's back fighting fit soon. The international break may help us in that he hopefully wont miss too many SPL games
  14. HT:1-1 FT:1-3 1st ICT: Draper 1st Opp:Cairney Crowd: 8500
  15. King out for 2 months according to todays Press and Journal. Needs an ankle operation, surprisingly enough its not on the ankle thats currently injured. Its his other one (which has been injured in the past). The op sounds like a wash out procedure to get rid of chipped bone fragments Not good news at all. We really need Hogg back asap. We're up the creek if anything happens to Warren or Meekings. Anyone know if Brisden Hall can play centre half? Might be a bit on the small side to deal with high balls
  16. I have to say after the 4-6-0 formation fiasco last year I struggled to bring myself to the conclusion that i would give him another few games to win me over. That clearly hasnt happened and our qualification dreams are almost completely over after 2 games. He has really puzzled me with some bizarre formations, line-ups, substitutions and press conferences that suggest he has no idea what he's doing Did a fine job with Dundee United but clearly out of his depth at international level
  17. Would be happy to see that team but in a 4-4-2 line up with Doran, Draper, Shinnie, Pepper in midfield with Oswell and McKay up front Chances of ever seeing us going with that are slim to none unfortunately Anyone know when King is due back?
  18. Glad to see the club doing this, hopefully can bring a few potential fans back from the dark side. Disappointing to see that a school within walking distance of the stadium has 'many' C#unty fans though
  19. Its amazing how a gadgiecoff's wind up can result in such bickering between our fans. First no milk for our players then no fans at our hospitality. Both were proven completely untrue so for this to still be rumbling on means their fishing trip was a pretty successful one. Certainly hooked a lot of folk on here
  20. You cant directly compare Rhodes to Fletcher because they are playing in completely different leagues, in different teams and for different managers. Fletcher is clearly more accomplished in that he has a decent scoring record for mediocre teams in the EPL. No other Scottish striker is at this standard at present. At present IMO Scotlands strongest strikers IMO are (in order) something like this: Fletcher, Mackie, Rhodes, Miller, Russell, McCormack, Goodwillie For the avoidance of doubt i'm classing Maloney and Snodgrass as midfielders Fletcher might not have acted professionally with regards to his text about selection availability however we live in a world of football where egos and arrogance is part and parcel. Levein should be man enough to deal with this in a professional manner which does not affect the strength/success of the team. Is the Scotland team stronger with Fletcher in it? I would say yes. This boils down to Levein's ego and stubbornness and he does not want to step down. This whole situation smacks of two egos trying to get one over on each other. For the good of the Scotland team we need our best players available to us, what we don't need is petty squabbles and male bravado taking precedence
  21. we herd you the first time people on this thread need to give themselves a good shake!! Mines a strawberry
  22. HT: 1-0 FT: 1-1 1st ICT: A Shinnie 1st Opp: Hughes Crowd: 5011
  23. i thought the exact same thing RiG. Im all for him failing miserably down there if it means we get him back!
  24. Great to see that our youth team is getting on a lot better than in years previous Anyone know the team? Would be good if the two new left sided players on our books got some game time to get their match fitness up to scratch
  25. There will be goals, whether we can score more than them will be the question. I certainly hope so
