  1. Dear me! If it had been just an orange kit on its own then that might have raised a few eyebrows (bearing in mind the ceo's background), but would've been acceptable. Regrettably, in scottish football it's very clear what the agenda is when an orange kit is paired with a 12th july release date! To imply that it was a pure coincidence is being disingenuous.
  2. Oh come on. This is the guy that procured an orange strip for an inverness family oriented club and released it on the 12th july. Nothing more needs to be said. If the club wants to align itself with this kind of nonsense then I want nothing to do with it!
  3. Get this guy gone. If it wasn't the middle of winter I'd suggest a shoes off protest! Mon Mr chairman surely you can see what's happening here? Wield the axe before it's too late! The club is at its lowest ebb! Relegation will signal the end. Whom has hold of the reins?
  4. Mind-numbing stuff! Sideways passing, then backwards, followed by some more sideways passing. Zero entertainment!
  5. Very sad news. I didn't know him personally either, but his posts were always spot on! RIP
  6. That was diabolical! Arbroath looked comfortable throughout. An easy win for them. We are in a relegation battle, no doubt about it. Outplayed, outfought, and outthought by a part-time team. Pathetic!
  7. Substitutions cost us 3 points! Less said about that first half performance the better. As bad any doddsball we've seen. Second half we were much improved. Scored and looked the better team, creating opportunities. Then our two best players are removed from the field of play, and we proceed to lose 2-1
  8. "The wheels on your house go round and round"
  9. Was he injured? Anyone know why he was taken off? Seemed a bizarre substitution!
  10. Similar game to united couple o weeks ago I felt. At no point did we look like scoring. It's a worry that we're so toothless up front. Other than that happy enough with a point.
  11. With a 3 year contract, it plainly has to. Otherwise we're relegated bankrupt f****d !
  12. Oh well, predictable background ! One win in 18 matches for Forest Green prior to their relegation !!! . . . sounds like just what we need !! From BBC Duncan Ferguson has left his role as Forest Green Rovers head coach after less than six months in charge. The former Everton assistant manager and player was appointed in January with the club bottom of League One. They were subsequently relegated to the fourth tier in April, with Ferguson overseeing one win in 18 matches. The 51-year-old had signed a five-year contract with the Gloucestershire side and had talked about his and the club's long-term plans after their relegation. "It's been a privilege to work with Dunc these last few months and this was a very difficult decision to make," said Forest Green owner Dale Vince. "I'm grateful to Dunc for joining us in such difficult circumstances and for all of his hard work at the club. "But I feel this is overall the right decision for everyone and I wish Dunc well in his next coaching role. We are parting as friends. You can't ask for much more than that." Ferguson scored 73 goals for Everton as a player in two spells between 1994 and 2006 and was also capped seven times by Scotland. He joined the Toffees coaching staff in 2014 and twice acted as caretaker manager before leaving the club last summer to pursue his first managerial position. While Forest Green returned straight to League Two after one season in the third tier, Ferguson had been talking about rebuilding for next season - with three players brought in so far this summer transfer window. Newly appointed chief executive, Marcus Reynolds, also spoke about the club needing "stability and progress" going forward. They open the new season at home to Salford City on Saturday, 5 August.
  13. We never really looked like scoring. A utd winner seemed inevitable even when they went down to 10 men!
  14. What a fantastic decision to award him a 2 year contract! Who was responsible for that and how much has it cost the club? One more head, at least, needs to roll!
  15. I'm finding myself in agreement. Talks a great game but what has he actually achieved, other than alienate a lot of local businesses from wanting anything to do with the club after the concert fiasco? All that orange kit and 12th july nonsense was the final straw for me, the club should never have let itself be lowered to that level! Seems like the chairman has given him free rein of the club to run it as he likes? Might his final act have been, what's becoming blatantly obvious, the mad decision to award dodds another 2 year contract?
  16. First half we looked comfortable. Second half was dire. Felt like we were just waiting for the equaliser, and no surprise when it came.
  17. Well done on a good-looking and thorough presentation. Just a shame that only 316 people completed the survey. No doubt the club will view this as unrepresentative and ignore it!?
  18. So did the club extend the loyalty price until the 12th !? sake!
  19. I get the feeling that might have been the plan?!?!
  20. Was it a conscious decision by the club to release such a kit on such a date? Really have no time for this kind of sectarian nonsense, personally!
