Only 20 points behind now, even after being deducted 15 ! Amazing how much better things are when the bad apples are removed from the barrel.

Gardiner was 'victimised horrendously' according to Ross Morrison ! https://www.scotsman.com/sport/football/ross-morrison-opens-up-watching-inverness-go-down-pan-battery-farm-and-why-scot-gardiner-persecution-angers-him-4829197 I'm of the opinion that Morrison is as culpable as Gardiner for the club's predicament. He put blind faith in Gardiner, and still seems to be in denial that Gardiner did anything wrong?!? The club/board was well warned about Gardiner's appointment at the time, by many fans of other clubs and our own, yet they continued to allow him to run the club completely unsupervised for 5 years!!!

https://news.stv.tv/sport/duncan-ferguson-leaves-inverness-caley-as-first-casualty-of-administration I'm glad the 12 months funding didn't materialise tbh! -

For me, the 4 performances in the playoffs were unforgivable. Should've had the grace to walk after that. -

6 businessmen that already have a majority shareholding, fronted by a former county director ? You couldn't make this (mess) up ! -

According to Ferguson, a 15 point deduction would see us relegated: "If we get a 15-point deduction, we are not going to be able to stay in the division unless we probably win every game and every other teams loses every game. It would be a nearly impossible task. One we would try to overcome and win games, but if administrator comes in and cuts the squad, which I think he would do, it would really be a tough ask. The 15-point deduction would more than certainly relegate us." https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/c8djl80rl8mo It would see us 12 points behind, yes, but we'd have 27 games to claw that back!!! That said, if Ferguson's still here then I agree - we will be relegated (15 point deduction or not)! -
Just stop the procrastinating and put the club in administration. Ferguson will have us relegated anyway, without the 15 point deduction!

To be fair, he should actually be paying the club for putting up with him! -

Even if somehow the £1.5m was secured from somewhere, . . . . 'second place finish in the league' ? - not a chance, with the current management incumbents! -

Looks like £200k will be a regular monthly requirement then? -
The club has been taking advice from an 'insolvency practitioner' for a few months, so this leaked document must be confirmation that the administration process is now underway?

Well I for one am soooooo glad DF decided in the summer to stay with Inverness and grace us with his presence for another season. We should all be very grateful I simply cannot get enough of his adventurous brand of expansive attacking football. Watching his team play on a Saturday afternoon really sets me up for the week ahead! We can only pray that a bigger outfit than us won't come in with offer he can't refuse to prise him away from the club any time soon! After all he must be much in demand due to our scintillating performances? Long may it continue

Being 2-0 up with 20mins to go and failing to win the match, it's blatantly clear that it's all down to the pitch!

"On the line to speak to Alan, is our next caller . . . . Scot fae Dundee !"

What do we need strikers for? We never put the ball in the box anyway!

A lucky escape! To read that Gardiner thought it to be an 'incredibly strong and positive proposal' just confirms his incompetence! How he was allowed to carry on running the club for 5 years is absolutely staggering! It is such a relief to see the back of him!

Pretty monumental news. Well done to all involved. Let's hope this is another step closer to ending the darkest period in the club’s history!

We have some good players in this squad. Was particularly impressed with Bray and Mackinnon today. I thought Savage was outstanding. And Longstaff looked much more effective playing wide. If only we had a competent manager we could canter this league!

Glorious scenes at full time with Big Dunce on the pitch celebrating a 1-1 draw against 10 men. What a f@d !

A completely unnecessary and patronising statement from the club imho. Seems they might be worried that fans might shout abuse, perhaps towards the board? The statement says: ICTFC takes a zero-tolerance position in respect of unacceptable conduct and any behaviour that could tarnish the clubs reputation. This includes any form of abuse towards staff, visitors, players, officials and other supporters. Anyone found to be engaging in this conduct will be ejected from the stadium and may be referred to the police or arrested. The club will also issue bans to offenders. I also noted CC's comment the other day: "Watching the ill-feeling towards individuals at the end of last season, it is not good for Caley Thistle. “It is something I’ve never seen. Fans have a go at managers, myself included, after poor performances. That goes with the territory. “But not what we witnessed last year at times. Hopefully that’s dead in the water now and we can move on.” If they're referring to the chants and events witnessed on the final game last season, then I think the fans behaviour that day was entirely justified, and actually quite restrained considering the events we've had to endure on and off the field! Statements like this do nothing to entice the fans to attend. Quite the opposite in fact!

Thank you for the last 5 years, Mr Gardiner ! Goodbye.

Agreed. The club that used to be ICT has been destroyed !
