  1. First league win I've seen this season!! More please. Thought there was more of a determination to win in the team today, and we controlled the game much better than last week after going ahead. Definitely a case of turning a draw into a win today.....if only we could've done that in a handful of the games we have drawn!?
  2. Hopefully a real walrus. It would be much faster than any of the current squad. Probably more skillful and have more game intelligence too!
  3. For this game, read every other reaction I've posted to home matches this season! Am I trapped in some kind of parallel universe where I've to sit through the same pi$$ poor, action replay, performance every other week? Go 1-0 ahead then proceed to switch off and throw the game away. Does nobody in this team/management learn from their mistakes? Too many of this team look completely disinterested in winning games. The performance again today was ponderous and lethargic and lacked imagination, just as almost every other game I've witnessed this season. No point in raising your game for the local derbies but not bothering your ar$e for the bread-n-butter games! Polworth again the target for the boo boys when he was substituted. Whilst today wasn't one of his better showings, he was by no means the worst player on the park and imo doesn't deserve that treatment. Best thing he can do, for sake of his own career, is get out of this club soon as. The attitude towards him is toxic! Hard to remember a time I felt this disillusioned with the club.
  4. Groundhog day again at ICT. Score a good goal, from a great through ball from Polworth, then down tools for the rest of the game. If it wasn't for some great saves from Ridgers we'd have been 3-1 down by half time. Second half was a complete non event from an ICT point of view.....we just didn't turn up. Was only a matter of time before utd equalised and the only real surprise was that they didn't go on to get the winner. So another home draw it is. Had we won just a handful of all the games we've drawn at home, we'd be sitting top of the table! For certain the squad needs freshening up in January. We need something to excite us fans because it's becoming increasingly difficult to muster enthusiasm to go and watch the same old performance, same tactics, same substitutions, and same results week in week out!?
  5. A draw today would've been bad enough but to get beat by that team.....?????????????????????????????????
  6. Best performance I've witnessed this season. Deserved a win. Exciting game to watch that kept me on the edge of my seat throughout. Maintained a high tempo the whole game and we even counter attacked very well. I would've taken a draw before the match....but we wiz robbed not getting the win!
  7. Puts petty squabbling over football firmly into perspective! Get well soon Scotty !!
  8. Another groundhog day watching Inverness at home (I wasn't here for the Partick game)! Slow, boring, no creativity, no imagination, same as every home game I've been to this season. We offer no counter attacking threat whatsoever because we are incapable of playing at any speed above walking pace. It's bad! There appears to be an acceptance amongst the fans now that this is what we can expect to watch....the atmosphere was one of the most subdued I can ever remember at home. So quiet I could hear every word from the players on the pitch. Aye.......really looking forward to Saturday now ! ?
  9. I thought we gave the ball away, sometimes passing it straight out the park, more than last week. Their keeper had nothing to do until the last 10 minutes, much the same as last week. It wasn't until calder came on that we started to look more of a threat, much the same as last week.
  10. I thought the performance last week was bad......I have no words for today! ??
  11. I would make Polworth captain. He has the passion and fire in him to do the job! Not that Tremarco doesn't. I just think it would do Liam the world of good?
  12. 2-1 up against 10 men then Walsh loses the ball on the touchline and, instead of chasing and attempting to win the ball back, he stops and his opponent is allowed to run almost the length of the park, win a penalty and the points are thrown away! Alloa then blow their best chance of the game when they really should've scored and won all three points! It's completely idiotic how we contrived to fail to win that game! The substitutions, apart from Calder who looked like the only footballer on the park during the short time he was on it, were baffling! ??????????????
  13. ...Liam Polworth he's one of our own FFS. Being a highland club I'm ashamed of the vitriol being spouted towards one of our home grown players by a small minority of 'fans'. It's pathetic ! We are not, and don't want to be, OF fans! Ryan Christie didn't receive the same treatment, Daniel Mackay doesn't receive the same treatment, Grant Munro, Jim Calder, Charlie Christie, Mike Noble, et al. So what is your problem with Liam Polworth ya dafties? Haters gonna hate!
  14. A game that we should've won comfortably, even considering the dire performance. Worrying that there's a serious lack of pace in this team. For the first home game of the season, it felt like an end of season game such was the sluggish performance. Most of those players look like they'd be quicker walking! No creativity, predictive passing, and slow tempo in the final third cost us 2 points. No width. Strange substitutions too didn't help. Austin subbed yet Oakley offered zero all game. Trafford and Chalmers and Walsh were invisible. As usual Polworth is the one singled out for abuse (yawn) but he's the only player taking the ball to at least try and make things happen. He'll be the first to admit he didn't have the best game today but to receive that kind of abuse !!??....have a word wi yourselves !!???
  15. We were promised better communication from the club....yet it takes a tweet from a journalist late on a Friday night for the fans to find out that our club captain is being sacked! Disgusting!
  16. Oh well, looks like county will pick up another bargain! Unbelievable! Was going to renew my season tickets tomorrow but this news is making me have second thoughts! So much for the local radio advertising that the feel-good factor has returned to ICT ? Picture the scene at the next derby match where there's more 'ICT' players on the county side than on our own! FFS I don't buy the argument that GW's wage could pay for 3 new players. I'd much prefer quality over quantity! ! !
  17. In all seriousness I feel sorry for RC with their relegation today ......
  18. Well, an absolutely incredible run to finish the season that nobody could have predicted considering our early season form. The cup win seems to have instilled a belief and confidence in the team that was lacking early on? That and a huge improvement in discipline beginning around the same time (especially Vigurs!) If we can somehow keep this squad together things could be looking up for next season. Thanks Inverness C Thistle it's been a rollercoaster as usual but what would we do without you?
  19. Well said ! It all seems very childish, thumbing of noses and saying "I know something you don't know "
  20. Fully agree with those positives. It's more the negatives that, if rumours are to be believed, are uppermost in my mind right now
  21. For 15mins in the second half we were on fire but that 3rd goal just wouldn't come and we paid the price with that last gasp equaliser. Ultimately our early season form left us with just a bit too much to do. Credit to all the players for the recent winning run though, they've been immense! Hope we can keep this squad together for another title push next season. Sad to say I don't expect we will and some will leave. Special mention to Higginbotham, I think?, who decided it would be a good idea to slam the ball into the home fans in the north stand after dunfermline's opening goal! Scummy wee nyaff!
