  1. This seems to me to have been an issue at the club since day 1. A battle of too many egos, d#ck measuring contests, and wallet weighing competitions. Like toddlers fighting over a toy . . . . . and now they've finally broken the toy!
  2. How did we go from Tuesday’s performance to that today ? Badly missed McLeod, and Bavidge obviously. When McKay is in that kind of form we’d be as well playing with 10 men!
  3. And who was it that oversaw all of that? 🤔
  4. I wasn’t at the game, but surely no coincidence? <<Shurely shome coincidensh Shatan>> shaid tm4tj
  5. Goal aside that was the worst performance since Ferguson. We played the whole game at walking pace, with lots and lots of sideways and backwards passing. Players looked disinterested at times. Very strange considering this was one of the biggest games of the season for us ? 🤔
  6. Whatever happens we are certain to come out of this Scot-free, and that is the most important thing! 😉
  7. Very flat performance I felt. Not helped by the red card. 0 shots on target from 8 attempts tells the whole story. Arbroath were rubbish!
  8. I’d like to offer my thanks to the administrators for punting Ferguson and Bolan.
  9. Had Ferguson still been in charge we'd have lost that game today. The performance was night and day to his tenure. The players are playing like footballers now and not robots. Much more purpose and intent. Onwards and upwards!
  10. Only 20 points behind now, even after being deducted 15 ! 😉 Amazing how much better things are when the bad apples are removed from the barrel.
  11. Gardiner was 'victimised horrendously' according to Ross Morrison ! https://www.scotsman.com/sport/football/ross-morrison-opens-up-watching-inverness-go-down-pan-battery-farm-and-why-scot-gardiner-persecution-angers-him-4829197 I'm of the opinion that Morrison is as culpable as Gardiner for the club's predicament. He put blind faith in Gardiner, and still seems to be in denial that Gardiner did anything wrong?!? The club/board was well warned about Gardiner's appointment at the time, by many fans of other clubs and our own, yet they continued to allow him to run the club completely unsupervised for 5 years!!!
  12. https://www.inverness-courier.co.uk/sport/i-saw-this-coming-i-took-an-instant-dislike-to-him-ross-364525/ Think this article sums up how many of us feel !
  13. https://news.stv.tv/sport/duncan-ferguson-leaves-inverness-caley-as-first-casualty-of-administration I'm glad the 12 months funding didn't materialise tbh!
  14. For me, the 4 performances in the playoffs were unforgivable. Should've had the grace to walk after that.
  15. 6 businessmen that already have a majority shareholding, fronted by a former county director ? You couldn't make this (mess) up !
  16. According to Ferguson, a 15 point deduction would see us relegated: "If we get a 15-point deduction, we are not going to be able to stay in the division unless we probably win every game and every other teams loses every game. It would be a nearly impossible task. One we would try to overcome and win games, but if administrator comes in and cuts the squad, which I think he would do, it would really be a tough ask. The 15-point deduction would more than certainly relegate us." https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/c8djl80rl8mo It would see us 12 points behind, yes, but we'd have 27 games to claw that back!!! That said, if Ferguson's still here then I agree - we will be relegated (15 point deduction or not)!
  17. Just stop the procrastinating and put the club in administration. Ferguson will have us relegated anyway, without the 15 point deduction! 🤬
  18. To be fair, he should actually be paying the club for putting up with him!
  19. Even if somehow the £1.5m was secured from somewhere, . . . . 'second place finish in the league' ? - not a chance, with the current management incumbents!
  20. Looks like £200k will be a regular monthly requirement then?
  21. The club has been taking advice from an 'insolvency practitioner' for a few months, so this leaked document must be confirmation that the administration process is now underway?
  22. Well I for one am soooooo glad DF decided in the summer to stay with Inverness and grace us with his presence for another season. We should all be very grateful 🙏 I simply cannot get enough of his adventurous brand of expansive attacking football. Watching his team play on a Saturday afternoon really sets me up for the week ahead! We can only pray that a bigger outfit than us won't come in with offer he can't refuse to prise him away from the club any time soon! After all he must be much in demand due to our scintillating performances? Long may it continue 🫡
  23. Being 2-0 up with 20mins to go and failing to win the match, it's blatantly clear that it's all down to the pitch! 🙄
  24. "On the line to speak to Alan, is our next caller . . . . Scot fae Dundee !"☎️📻
  25. What do we need strikers for? We never put the ball in the box anyway!
