  1. Yup, was defo Mr Blair at TCS wen it was CS. It was many moons ago and basically photo opportunity for him. If i remeber correctly, he was in goals.

If thats true, then am sure the individual in question will have had no drugs in his system, pressuming they tested him!
  3. I think the bottom line is, the interest simply isnt there these days, together with the inflated prices. I think the creche is a good idea, but this half time entertainment idea simply will not persuade ppl to part wi £20+ to see what usually turns out to be a cringeworthy episode. And if Furry Mouth Radio is involved, al be off too! I think if the price was dropped to £15, you may get a few more attending, but sadly not even enough to offset the drop in admission price.
  4. Once uppon a time, wen Mcleish was at the helm at ibrox, he was mumping and moaning on Sport Scotland about Rangers having to travel here mid week. I texted in pointing out that this was the same guy who's team had assperations about playing games in Europe on a regular basis. My point was never aired :020: Full of **** these teams!
  5. As thing stands (fri 15th June 2007) which of our players do you reckon, is the most irreplaceable?
  6. In no particular order Iain Stewart Paul Cherry Mike Teasdale (a more commited player I have never seen) Jimmy Calder Mark Brown Barry Wilson Paul Ritchie
  7. I bet you weren't calling him a wee shyte when he was banging them in over the past two seasons! The arrogance of some people on here is shocking, "oh he'll never be as good as he was here!" How the **** do you know? He played two years for us and scored a number of important goals and I for one wish him all the luck in the world wherever he goes. And no doubt if he stays in the SPL the small minded amongst our support will jeer his every touch against us, just completely forgetting that without his goals we could have been a lot closer to relegation than we were. Get a grip and grow up! :008: Its called having passion for yer team and not being afraid to express it actually!! Dont be so condescending thank you very much
  8. I dont think this has come up yet but, I think its a slippy slope to be on starting to offer certain players more money. That leads to division, animosity and greed among other players. Thats a psychological FACT! I have always felt that one of the main reasons ICT had good team spirit was because no one was valued more than anyone else (by any great degree). Funny how our money was good enuff for him the last 2 seasons yet when his deal is upped, its suddenly not deemed acceptable. I really hope he falls flat on his face.
  9. I too would like to wish him all the failure in the world. He has taken the complete **** over this. I am not one of the "best of luck" brigade for what he has done for the club. He did what he was paid to do at the end of the day and in my eyes, ICT had done more for him by taking the chance on him in the first place. And then he repays us like this. **** springs to mind! Good Riddance

Impressive goals against :021:.........shocking goals for :020:
  11. I just hope that by midnight tonight, Dargo has either signed on or shipped out so a line can be drawn under this whole **** taking episode. ICT resserected his career, yet he doesnt seem to have shown much courtesy back, certainly where the fans are concerned!
  12. Main difference is...........you know you got a job to go back to on the monday morning! I think the club has showed weakness over this whole saga. He has taken the ****, as he has had about 4-5 "deadlines" which have come and gone. He has had 6+ months to have decided what to do. Call his bluff and force his hand
  13. Always had a soft spot for Clach. Before ICT was conceived, Cellic were my weapon of choice to follow in Scottish League. And in FEB land Newcastle Utd.
  14. SMEE replied to buffy's topic in General Football
Rather Sellic win to be honest.

Out of intrest, how much does it cost to get into the Toronto Fc games? What sort of level would you say is the standard? Ya know..........SPL standard or maybe higher....like.... Highland League? :blah01: :crazy07:
  16. Its Apparently in response to the shambolic episode on Saturday wi singing section. They are to approach other SPL clubs to see what the feeling is
  17. Just been/going to be an article on North Tonight.
  18. Just been on the news that ICT are to investigate the possibility of introducing standing areas at the ground. I for one would welcome that, if nothing else may lower the price and be more acheivable for folks to afford to go to the games.
  19. I was being facetious RiG :021:

Why does'nt EVERYONE who feels aggrieved by this, ALL bombard the official site with emails with a pre determined (possibly decided on here) message demanding an explanation and appology? You know wat i mean....one literate, well learned individual posts a well put together case, then those who wish can cut and paste it into an email, then send it to the club. Surely they could not ignore that?
  21. Does this all mean that if ICT score a goal, all those who stand to celebrate are potentially going to get turfed out? They have to be consistant here. ICTFC and all involved in its running, has to take a good long look at themselves. It is an embarassment at times the way they seem to miss golden opportunities to generate extra intrest in the club. They should not be victimising the already **** poor amount of people who actually go the games. They seem to be missing the point of running a football club!
  22. This will subject will always bob up now and then....and so it should be allowed to, as we currently live in a democracy. if people dont like it, they should not qualify its existance by replying to it. I remember posting a reply to a similar thread many sites ago under my then username. My view is this. I was a Caley man. Originally Brought up where i could hit Caley Park with a well aimed stone. Had been going to games since 1976-77. Used to go chase footies for em at training every monday and thursday as a wee boy. And had been known to go in on a sunday and help clean the ground (mainly to try a find a free programme) Now.......when the merger was going thro, the questionaire was passed out asking for views on Name, I had forseen all the problems that would eat away at people by leaving Thistle and my beloved Caley in the name. The most embarrasing problem being, the still present division between supporters of the same team. I voted for Inverness! And I can tell ya this much. ICT never has, and never will replace what I had for Caley. But they are gone, and so the name should too, along with Thistle.
  23. Actually....would a draw screw up both gretna and Tinks as long as St J do the bizz?
  24. Al be with you in spirit :021: :021: :022: :015:
  25. SMEE replied to Yngwie's topic in General Football
I for one will be quite glad to see the tinks go down. I dont subscribe to this "support the highland team" crap. Out of St Johnstone and Gretna, I want Super J's, as Gretna are guilty of the very things that I beleiveing is impacting on the game (ie: paying silly wages) Yes, its a bit of romance etc etc, but if gretna do get in, how is a town gonna sustain a top league team when the population is under 3000, most of whom are Rugby orientated? And the stadium has to seat over two times the population of the town!!
