Its a big day out for the bottom dwellers. They average less than 500 at home games, so yeah.....their end was at least half full of glory hunters!

Yeah...yer right tokers.......but....why is this the case? Why do so many fans stay away in such circustances. Surely if your a fan, you go along regardless of who your playing, at least...for the meaningfull games? Is this phenomenom restricted to SPL teams? Mibees its snobbery on the part fo the sPL fans?
  3. This might sound disrespectful, but all things considered, an SPL team should be beating any third Div team comfortably at home.

I have to admit.....i was thinking yesterday, where was the other 1200-1500 home fans that usually attend league games? Surely you support a team thick and thin, game in game out (WHEN POSSIBLE).Now, i know tht might sound rich coming from someone who is lucky to make a handful of games a season, due to his parental duties, but at least i dont just turn up for the big games
  5. 2-0 Rooney...WHITEWASH
  6. PHEW....1-0 Sanchez!
  7. Im sorry....but...a draw at home to a 3rd divison side is NOT acceptable!
  8. Dont seem to be much happeining in the game?
  9. probably to boost their listners numbers.....then they can turn round and say Gaelic radio channel has 3-4 times the listeners it actually has
  10. No live commentary on MFR
  11. Did i mention how gutted i am at missing this game.
  12. Barry Wilson not playing today.
  13. REALLY REALLY wanted to get to this game. I used to LOVE playing Elgin Sh1tty in old Highland league days. Was always a highlight of the season. Would have been so good to have relived the glory days. more i think about it...more im gutted im not there.....
  14. I think with Hodgson at Fulham, it was another case of an individual being suited to a Club. This would be my warning to Rooney, in case hes planning meandering off to pastures new. Sometimes its best to stick to what you know, especially if things are going good for you
  15. Im pretty gutted about not making it along to this one.In fact....id much rather have made it along to this game than any League game. Ah well, it canna be helped. As per usual....my kids come first. Does anyone know if this game is on MFR or anywhere?
  16. I beg to differ. Apart from the fact that i have my kids most weekends ICT are at home, even when they arent staying with me....due to my low income, I find it difficult to find the money to get in to the games (beggars cant be choosers, so this would have to be the cheapest part of the ground) Then....on top of that, there is the costs of getting into town and back, then the costs of getting to the ground and back. all things considered...its very rare that i can actually finacially justify going to games. I often wonder how many others are in the same situation as me
  17. Whats the deal with Matchdays in the Sociaal Club? Can anyone go in and have a beer etc. The reason i ask is...im planning taking my boy to his first game soon, and getting a bus form the social club before and after the game would be ideal for his mum to drop him off to me and collect him after. How much is the bus?
  18. I was just about to highlight the fact that away "support" is actually financially contributing to the opposition....and not ICT.....unless its a cup game
  19. Terry and Mo have done an eXCELLENT job since they have come here.....if only we could get our home form sorted. At the start of this season, i sed, come the end of the season, 11th place or higher would do me. I stand by that. as long as we stay up, then i view it as a sucsessful season. A wee Scottish Cup run would be a bonus
  20. neither can i.....not one bit! To me its like they are just assuming by shrinking the league to 10 teams will make it more appealing and a more lucrative proposition. Ad like to see some hard evidence that supports their assumptions. What is the REAL aim of this? To Line the pockets of the top ten teams? To make Scottish Football more competitive? To get punters thro the door?
  21. Looks like this unbelievably crap idea wont get the 11 clubs it needs to vote for it thankfully! SPL needs expansion!
  22. I too agree that it is worrying that we may rely on one player too much!
  23. Like i sed...it had to happen sometime. I kind of expected it today...especially after seeing the starting line up. No wins in 6 now!
  24. Starting without Duncan weakens the team, starting with Odihambo weakens the team even more! Saw this coming. Personally...im glad...its a monkey off our back. It had to happen sometime
  25. To be fair...he hasnt really had much opportunity to shine. I think without Duncan...regardless of how he is apparently playing, we are a weaker team
