I know I'm wrong and a lot of people will disagree with me for this, but I'd like to think he was treated with all the respect he deserves (ie kicked out of the back of a helicopter from 10,000 ft.) Near enuff.......being buried at sea pretty much flies in the face of Muslim Burial traditions!

So, Entertainment and sucsess are directly linked Alex? Rangers are one of the most sucsessful clubs in World Football. I have ALWAYS found them mind numbingly BORING to watch. Id rather be stuck in the 3rd division, losing every game, if they entertained me as much as THAT game, than be in the top league and playing mediocre and inconsistantly

12 years ago on this day...i was Lucky to be at Almondvale, to witness the most enjoyable game of football I have ever witnessed. Sadly ICT got beat 4-3, after being 4-0 down after 20 mins. But....id HAPPILY lose every game if the games were as fantastic as that one. What a top day out it was!

Gutted for Russell. This great servant will be greatly missed. Cant say im too happy about this decision!

This name keeps cropping up...by freinds on Facebook, Belladrum forum etc. Had a wee snigger to myself on tuesday, passing a Billborad, advertising Inverness Courier, With the headline of............."Belladrum Announces Major Headliners!

Belladrum 2011 Line Up has been announced....well...at least some of it. Sadly, in my opinion, its the poorest line up in the 5 years i ahve been going. Usually at least a few acts get me excited...but this year...NOT ONE! Texas and Deacon Blue are headlining..WTF??..two 80s, samey, middle of the road has beens.....VERY dissapointed :( Next year, im waiting for the line up to be announced before buying tix. Looks like im going to need to rely on the People, atmos etc to carry Bella this year

Johns Funeral was this Morning. I was unable to make it...as i have my kids staying, but for the Likes of Scotty, I think you be pleased to hear that by all accounts, it was an incredible turnout to his funeral, and an excellent service...reflecting on Johns time here with us. Sounds like an excellent and fitting send off to a geuinely great Guy :)

I think its a tribute to the man, that to many......to this day, many many years after he left, the shop is still known as Johnny Als

I posted about Johns sad passing on my facebook....as many of my freinds all new John personally. Had a lot of replies...paying tribute to him, all saying how nice and genuine a guy he was. Was nice to see peeps playing tribute. John was the only shop owner i ever knew, who seemed to get to know ALL his customers persoonally....and knew most by their name. He certainly will always be remembered fondly. Little known fact here.....John was a pioneer, and was the first shop in Inversneck to have a Slush Puppie machine lol RIP John

To anyone who remembers ex Ross County player and LEGENDARY Dalneigh shop owner John Allison....i heard sad news that he dropped dead in his shop today at the age of 58. Very sad news....he certainly was a character....and used to put a fair bit of his own time into coaching younsters back in the 80's. RIP John

Id go as for to say...that over the entire history of ICT....Roy was one of me alltime faves. A bit one footed....but effort etc was always 100%. Consumate professional he is! If we can unearth another player with Roys attributes...we will be onto a winner! I will tell a lil tale...i might have told it before....i was once on a u2 chat site....and there was peeps from all over the world there. Anyhoo...got chatting to a guy....turns out he was living in aberdeen...and the chat went on....cut a long story short...it turns out...it was one of Roys pals

IMHO....Roy was a terrific player and servant to the club. I think we have seen the last of him in ICT colours. Best of luck with the Future Roy

I remember them days....hell...i even remember Scottish Firebrigade vs English Firebrigade used to attract a decent crowd!

Up here...only three teams i hate are Rangers....apart from all their sectarian *****...they are mind numbingly dull to watch. Then theres aberdeen, whos fans seem to think they should be still winning things, coz they had 4-5 good yrs near 30 yrs ago. And the tinks up the road, who should never have got into the SFL in the first place. They only got in coz they had a good couple of years, and mostly the fact Elgin Had been done for cheating. Down Souf.....i hate Chelsea....who seem to think they are a "big club" but they were pretty much nobodys till Abramovich came along. And Liverpool....i really dont like em
