Ah....the holy grail has turned up!! I have mentioned this book a few times. Flick thro that book and notice some of the Crowds that Caley were getting in them days. Im sure they were getting 6000+ at some games! anyhoo....wee side note...i think that book is quite rare now, so dont go throwing it in the bin. I think it could be worth about ?20, mibees even more

Evangelical priest Harold Camping has gone and backtracked and decided the new date for the Rapture is now 21st Oct 2011. Mibees its just as well....as apparently theres a 55Bn Tonne Asteroid headed our way in November, and due to pass between us and the moon....lets hope they got that right

To be honest Alex....i think we have to be realistic. Yes...i think from SFL1 down...Inverness Fans can expect to have success now and then, as we are one of the bigger clubs. But in the SPL, we pretty much have to accept that we will pretty much only be also rans at best. So, mibees im in the minority here...but while we remain in the SPL, and in its current format...i think 11th place or higher, come the end of the season, will keep me happy

Well....if thats your take on it....but i dont know ANY ICT fans that rated him, the polar opposite applies actually...so makes him a wasted vote in my opinion

ah.....but he was crap the whole time while here...so was never really rated by ICT fans. I was meaning players fans raved about, that you couldnt see what all the noise was about.

In your opinion, who is ICT's most Overated player of all time? I came up with this question, while replying to the John Rankin thread, and i would like to nominate him as my selection.....for now at least :P APART FROM ANDY BARROWMAN WHO WAS NEVER RATED BY ICT FANS TO MY KNOWLEDGE!

I NEVER rated Rankin. A few Utd supporters i know arent too thrilled about his arrivial...cant say i blame em.

I have long since thought that the KEY to ICT's success over the years was the fact that the team was never tinkered with too much when it came to new faces arriving. And because of that...there was a great deal of camoraderie and team spirit built around the core of the team. BUT, now.....it looks like that ethos has been thrown out the window, with wholesale changes being required for next season. Isnt it something like 14 first team squad players being let go or something? Anyhoo....i think this could rip the heart out of the team. It just isnt the ICT way

He certainly did where im concerned...i thought he was a superb player for us. All the best Royster..thanx for some great times...you will be missed.

Yes....and sed that other teams have to take a long hard look at themselves. The guy does NOTHING to help himself.. . . hes constantly adding fuel to the fire

Im a child of the 80s....so grew up watching the likes of Ken Dodd, watching The Comedians etc. There are a few good comedians about today....I like Michael Macintyre, Ed Byrne, Frankie Boyle, Dara O Brein, Bill Bailey, Ricky Gervais, but most of todays "comedy" seems to stem from the ability to shock and offend, rather than wittly thought out punchlines. Frankie Boyle being a case in hand....but...i do find him funny at times. My fave Comedy act of all time.......Laurel and Hardy :) Stan Laurel actually cut his comedy teeth in Glasgow!

That is true! I think he MaY be one of the rare players that appreciates theres more to life than money alone. Its not likely tht he is gonna be snapped up by a team thats going to be competing for honours next season, so i HOPE he realises that the way of life up here is worth more than a few extra quid in his pocket.

I think Rooney WILL move on....and live to realise that ther grass isnt always greener ....

@ Starchief.....this may be of slight intrest to you. In dec 1998, i went down to Derby, to do a two week course to train to be an insurance salesman. I got freindly with a guy from Blackburn called Chris. He was a cool guy. Anyhoo....turns out....he was freindly with The Fall band members inc Mark E Smith, and in fact, sometimes went on BEFORE the band and read out his poetry. He also knew the guys from James...which is more impressive to me, considering they are my No 2 all time faves :) I have tried to find chris again on facebook, but i can remember his surname....but he had the same surname im sure, as one of the guys associated with Mark Radcliffe when he was on Radio 1, whatever it was.

im sure i heard the Council will not budge and help them out...so they will NOT be going up. Its all to do with The Northern Meeting Park. Cricket seems to have priority....but as far as i know...its for municipal use.

Haha....thats so cool! I have a bit of a soft spot for Iron Maiden, not that i have any of their albums tho.
