    Sports bar

Discrimination surely..... towards those of us who cant rustle up the price of a season ticket? Probably because 1) its an incentive to get more people to buy a season ticket which is better for the club, and 2) it keeps the bar free from flotsam and jetsam riff-raff. Can see why it is like it is. But what about those fans who cant afford the one off price of a season ticket..(ie ME), or the ones that cant make enuff games a year to justify buying one (ie...me again). Are we less worthy of entrance to the bar? I think the intended way off running it is very devisive...and i dont like that!

  3. Is that a 10% increase on last seasons season tix sales? Anyone know how many that will equate to and how it stacks up against the numbers sold when we were last in SPL?
  4. My son had no interest for a long while either Smee and I gave up 'dragging him' to games because it was just pointless... but then I tried again in October '08 and suddenly it all fell into place. Maybe it'll be the same for you and your family, at some point in the future. Well....my middle son turned up here with new..FOOTBALL boots on friday...and has sed in the past he would like to go to a game with me. So maybe there is hope for him. Problem is....my youngest.....he just isnt into footie at all, so i cant drag him along, as it wouldnt be fair. And i have them both to stay at the same time.....so it really has to be both of them want to come...or none at all
  5. Good on ya Laurence for giving the team your support and buying a season ticket. Unfortunatley, i only make about 6 home games a season due to having my kids most home games, so no point in me getting a season ticket. And iits not like my kids even like footie, to drag them along
  6. I like the style pictured above....BUT....it is IMPERATIVE....that the piping and stitching detail be gold, to give it that extra bit of class. I have seen the top without the gold detail...and it spoils it a bit.
  7. Good on Tabitha, nice to hear someone who isnt a jobsworth!
  8. Well....suprise suprise, av got my daddy duties for the tic game. Bummer....ah well...it might be on ESPN eh?
  9. Why......basically.....it does the same thing as your current one does
  10. So....in the next hour, the report, which took 12 yrs, into Bloody Sunday is to be made public. The real stomach churning part is, it has cost ?200 MILLION!!!!!!! So....i for one would like to see the breakdown of the costs for this report. Al wager, that a lot of the costs must have been to line the pockets of grossly overpayed cprivate consultants and Lawyers etc. I just cant believe ANYTHING is worth wasting ?200M on, coz, its not going to change anything, and will only state what we already knew. What good will it do?
  11. Apparently, our Terry reckons Robert Green should be dropped after his clanger last night. Now....I rate Green as one of the best Goalers in the Premiership, and have seen him pull off many blinding saves in his time. Would Terry be so quick to walk the walk if Esson had a howler? Would he drop him so quickly? I dont think so somehow! Anyway....for me....thus far.....Greens howler was hilarious and the highlight of the World Cup so far!
  12. I wouldnt mind if tokely sods off. I think the Club need some fresh faces in certain positions.
  13. The Crossing- Big Country
  14. At its peak...Galeic was spoken by about 1/3 of the Scottish population. It is now spoken by just over 1% of the population that use it. A 40% decline in speakers in the last 50 yrs, coupled with the previous figures, doesnt not seem to support your above statement, which is typical Gaelic spin!
  15. Its easy to find.....just look for the biggest darkest rainiest looking clouds :P
  16. Why is it sad that a private individual who lives in Liverpool was not noticed by the club? Do I need to tell the club when I go to Africa and tell the locals about ICT? A bit harsh, not to mention out of place given the tone and nature of the other posts!
  17. Looks like Felipe Morias will be a free agent after failing to negotiate a new deal with St Johnstone. Would we like to have him back? I think we would!
  18. Meh.....Gaelic is dying on its arse...why....coz theres not enuff interest. Now....if they wanna resurect something truly scottish and worth while....i say...pump the dosh into reviving...CREAMOLA FOAM!!
  19. Police now saying 13 dead (inc gunman) and 25 injured. Sad sad news....RIP to all the innocent victims
  20. RIP Fella......al wager not too many team colours have made it to the top of the world!
  21. Israel seem to think they have licence to do as they please, as the rest of the civillised world sits back and allows em to run amok. my own personal opinion is....NO WONDER THEY ARE DESPISED (as a nation). They do NOTHING but play the victim card, but all the time...they keep stoking the fires. I fully sympathise with the Palestinians etc!
  22. Pretty happy that both have signed on
  23. If someone were to find say...a razor blade or a mouses head in their pie...am sure we could negotiate our way out of the Lyndley contract!!! And get good quality nosh for a change!
  24. Two opposing viewpoints, but having known Kenny personally for a few years, I would have to say Don is correct as opposed to SMEE. My post wasnt a statement....it was a question....hence why it was punctuated with a question mark. I was exploring the possibility that he could be just another of sutherlands puppets, given his previous employment history!
