Well, i agree. I thought we were all to be treated as equals in this country. We are always hearing about how disabled people want to be treated as equals

Playing Devils advocate here...but why should people with a disability and on DLA get FREE entry (for two people) instead of just a reduced price? I would be curious to hear the reasoning behind it. (bearing in mind, i qualify for it)
  3. ^Im not about to dispute that Stevie. As you probably know, today was my first look at Zadi. I wasnt expecting much, and i was proven right, BUT he was one of a small band that can say they at least tried today.
  4. I thought that Zadi didnt do much wrong today. He and Cox and Foran were about the only ones i thought can say got pass marks. Then again....it was only Montrose, so he should be coasting through such games anyhoo.

You could have a full time, professional carer, but unless you recieve DLA, you wouldnt be entitled to the free entry.

Just to clarify.....you can be in reciept of DLA.....be in a vegatitive state in a wheelchair, but unless you have a "carer", you do NOT get in for free. Basically, I have to pretend to need a carer to be able to make use of the scheme, despite being in receipt of DLA. Conversley, you could be Steven Hawking, and unless you get DLA, you wont be acceptable for the scheme.

What i feel is unfair is that unemployed people dont get any concessions. Lets be honest, those on jobseekers allowance are REALLY on the bare minimum. Disabled people usually are among the most financially better off from the benefits system, as they can claim benefits X,Y and Z. ICT are probably going to have approx 5000 empty seats for about 16 home league games of the season. Even if they let unemployed people in for ?5, its better to get that extra fiver than ?0. And am sure there are plenty of people who arent working who would like to be able to go, but just cant budget for it at the current price.
  8. Absolutely fair summation of the game today. It was like watching the second team today. Cox i thought put in a decent shift (one of the few). The other signings look pish! I thought that was the weakest ever right side to the team we have ever had. The boy Ross was way out of his depth today. Stratford aint no right back and i do NOT rate Tokely as a centre Half. We are going nowhere if todays show was anything to go by. As usual, there was absolutely NO service to the front two today. we severly lack craft, guile and dig in midfield. Final Thought......the majority of that team today looked too lightweight to deal with Div I

I dont need a straight Jacket. Id just demand they men in white coats heavily sedate me before games. its all good tho, as it means i wouldnt suffer too much watching the dire footbal being served up :022:
  10. Its bound to be us...I mean......Do football games come any bigger than ICT vs Montrose? :022:

ICT run a scheme where, If you are in receipt of DLA (Disability Living Allowance) and need/can arrange a "carer" to attend with you, BOTH parties will gain free entry to league games! You have to sit in a designated area in the North Stand (not the best seats). It applies to Mental as well as Physical disabilities. I actually qualify for it (being a loony toon :022: ) but havent really ever used it. Mainly coz i cant find anyone willing to sit in that area with me (despite it being free!) because they would feel uncomfortable in that section I was actually gonna see if anyone on here was up for free entry to games with me, but thought it seemed a lil bit depserate!
  12. Livi were living well beyond their means LONG before Gretna even got into the SFL
  13. Exacta Mundo...Dean McDonald for example. Lots on here were creaming themselves over him based on pre season!
  14. Who is this Bulvitus?
  15. I have lost track of the comings and goings. Would someone be kind enough to post an up to date overview of our squad, and their positions?
  16. Am getting a feeling in my water....its gonna be 0-5 to ICT

I wish i had a memory for such things :P
  18. If you re-read my post Alex, you will see that i was reffering to the season in general, and not just Saturdays game!
  19. Ah...i didnt realise we had solar powered lights etc in the south stand , my mistake! Also...i dont EVER recall a steward "segregation barrier" being required when we were in the First Div last time around. But open the south stand, you will require extra stewarding
  20. I do think the South Stand will be closed all season, unless we have a 1st div play off scenario. I just cant see it paying for itself by the time you take into consideration, stewarding and powering up the stand, for what would probably see 200 or so people using it at the most. Methinks it will be Main Stand and North Stands only this season (barre "big" games)
  21. It will be the Saints alright....but St Johnstone!
  22. ancient chinese proverb georgeios......but it is a good un eh!
  23. Might have been better making the question more general, by asking ALL fans and not just season ticket holders. Get an even closer reflection of the feeling among fans. Out of interest, does anyone know what percentage of attendances are made up of season tix holders vs Pay at gate fans?
  24. I think at least part of that preminition will come true...ie, St jhnstn coming straight back down!
  25. Grant Munro (IMO) doesnt have that fire in the belly quality a good leader needs. I observed him in the last game of the season, when he really needed to set an exapmle. lets just say, a weaker captains performance i have NEVER witnessed! Especially with the game meaning so much.
