The Great Highland Franchise Experiment
No, because of geography. ICT and County are less than 15 miles apart and are chasing after the same pool of potential supporters.

Supporters Trust Relegation Statement
Understandable. But if there are not any significant changes at the top of the club, do you think you will get any co-operation in the future? (Yes, I know - you don't get any now.) I'd have said "the club now needs change" instead of "we now demand change". Less personal.

The Great Highland Franchise Experiment
I've been a supporter for about 60 years. When do I get real?

The Great Highland Franchise Experiment
Actually, I agree with CB's analysis - in fact, I remember that I wrote something similar quite recently. Where I diverge from him is that I think that a merger is not inconceivable. I think it will inevitably happen, quite possibly in the next few years. CB may be reluctant to say that, because he was crucified when he said so in print a while ago (I can't remember how long ago). That is assuming that neither club goes bust before a merger can be arranged. It's no more inconceivable than Caley and Thistle merging!

That quote is complete garbage. And I'm only saying "garbage" because this is a family forum!

Our squad next season
Cammy Mackay is only 27. I'd be happy to see him as the first choice. I remember he had a lengthy run during one of the covid seasons when I could I watch on PPV. I thought he was fine then, and I remember saying that I thought his ball distribution was much superior to Ridgers'. Back then, it seemed that Ridgers would have at least one major panic per game, when he would be caught out by something unexpected - or at least, that he didn't expect. I don't know if that has continued, or has got worse. I remember looking up his age back then, to see when he might be replaced, and being surprised at how young he was. (He's 33 now.) Only those of you who've seen him regularly can judge his overall contribution - the good versus the bad. But if he's off, then League 1 should be the place for Cammy to establish himself.

Drawing straws to see who tells Big Dunc that he's fired?

What happens if we get relegated?
Very possibly by selling assets. Administration doesn't guarantee that the club continues.

Play off final 2nd leg (ict 1-2 Accies)
Just pray that there is a break clause in his contract that can now be invoked. Otherwise that could be very expensive...

Play off final 2nd leg (ict 1-2 Accies)
Ironic that the last thing they did in the Championship was score. Not looking forward to meeting my wife's Stenny-supporting relatives next week ☹️

Ferguson probably is.

Play off final 2nd leg (ict 1-2 Accies)
Well unless he goes in at full time, he'll never see it again!

Play off final 2nd leg (ict 1-2 Accies)
"90 minutes to score one goal", wasn't it?

Play off final 2nd leg (ict 1-2 Accies)
Game over.

Play off final 2nd leg (ict 1-2 Accies)
Agreed! On more than one occasion here I have questioned why experienced players on the pitch apparently cannot read a game and react appropriately. More often than not the answer is "manager's orders". Well, look where the manager has got us. We really should hit Accies from the start, and not let them settle at all. I might settle for 1-0 after 45 minutes, leaving everything to play for. But I'd much rather have 2-0 after 25 minutes, which should be entirely possible. And after that, the only thing to do would be to go after a third.

What happens if we get relegated?
Yes, but..... who else would take him? Abject failure at Forest Green, abject failure at Caley Thistle. Maybe back to a coaching role, if his pride will let him.

Play off final 2nd leg (ict 1-2 Accies)
Our tactics.... Ticking away the moments that make up a dull day You fritter and waste the hours in an off-hand way Kicking around on a piece of ground in your home town Waiting for someone or something to show you the way

And you will be funding it....?

Accies Away Play-off 1st leg
I think that this is the key. We need to take control from the start, grab it by the scruff, and take charge. That's what we need to do. But from what I have seen, I have grave doubts about our ability to do so.

Accies Away Play-off 1st leg
Lawal and Pepple on from the start on Saturday. Equalise - at least - by half-time. Then there is everything to play for.

Accies Away Play-off 1st leg
If they were in the Premiership - yes. If they had ambitions to reach the Premiership - quite possibly. In our current situation - that's a difficult question! I might still say yes, with an appropriate salary, a review of other staff positions, and provided they and the others were happy to do things like pick up a paintbrush when necessary.

2nd Leg Play Off v Montrose
We can and will if it goes to penalties! We have to score.

2nd Leg Play Off v Montrose
Get a few lined up before happy hour ends. Don't forget to allow for penalties

2nd Leg Play Off v Montrose
I understand that argument, but I do think that they have something to gain or lose. Loanees are mostly guys who are looking to develop their career, and thus to impress their home club, or, indeed, other clubs. One way or another, they are in the shop window. So "not giving a sh*t" wouldn't be a great career move. On the other hand, playing your heart out for the jersey that you happen to be wearing would certainly be a good sign, in my book. Maybe I'm just too idealistic. Hope not.
