i spent a good chunk of the afternoon yesterday in a walkabout pub in wolves i eventually got in after first being refused as it was "an away pub" after a couple quiet drinks waiting for my mates to turn up i eventually got chatting to some of the man u fans and have to say it was a brilliant laugh the atmosphere in the pub was amazing and i was made to feel perfactly welcome and was told several times that i should go to the game (only the lack of a ticket prevented that )some of there songs were very witty and sharp and they really did have an all for one attitude looking forward to the next time i get to have that experience
  13. well caught Sir you have hooked one i am sick fed up of time and time again people trying to make out that because someone does not go to a game they are LESS of a fan than others i would love to attened every game, i would love to have every strip i would love to do lots of things but there are a list of reasons why i can't/don't :- i am currently down in wolverhampton i have a wife and two children, they sometimes have to come first i am fortunate enough to have a season ticket so i go the games when i can life doesnt always pan out the way you plan it is becoming more and more common on here to find threads that are slating fans for one reason or another and its getting old and tired. i am fortunate enough to be able to afford a season ticket and i am glad i do as i know it means that when i can get to the game my seat will be therre but im sorry i really didnt want to drive for the best part of 12 hours to come home see my wife and kids(who i havens seen for the best part of a month) for all of about 3 hours just so i can go to see us beat morton. im sorry if in your eyes that makes me a lesser fan but let me ask you this Dougal when was the last time you went above and beyond for the club, when did you really get of your bum and do something for the club instead of just going online and bleating about how fans should be ashamed and unable to sleep at night?

  20. well it could be worse... at least folk had a chance to turn back look at the county game last night that was called off after 66 mins. that would be much worse in my eyes as they have the whole thing to go through again

busy night tonight aberdeen losing one nil after saving a pen Saint J one nil up County one nil down all inside 17 mins by my clock oops forgot the Red card for Aberdeen too
  22. did he not only just sign for blackburn a couple of days/a week ago
  23. It must be. In contrast ?80 million has been spent in the Premiershiip so far!! I see Hibs have solved their striker crisis by signing another goalkeeper! That's 4 on their books now Ken The ?85 million is just today for Torres and Carroll. Add ?10 million for Charlie Adam (yes that's right ?10 million for a wee fat set piece taker), ?27 milion for Dzeko and ?24 million for Bent .........that's almost ?150 million without all the rest! The world has gone absolutely mad! just to point out from the bbc feed 1833: Anyway, the fact is that I'm lucky enough to be joining you just as it is getting seriously, seriously interesting. Right now, the total spent on transfer fees in this January window 2011 stands at around ?82m. In the next four-and-a-half hours, that figure could - and almost certainly will - be at least doubled, if not more. thats ?82 Million BEFORE the torres and Carroll moves
  24. Beattie Loan To Blackpool. does not seem like 6 months since he got to Rangers
