  1. We should all be supporting Ritchie..!! if he has made a mistake, he is not the first and won't be the last... I just hope he has got good personal council... if this situation is handled correctly (irrespective of the legal outcome) it should not mean the end of his football career. Graham Lets not let the backward small town mentality of Inverness City.. win out on this for gawd sake..!!!
  2. Was it not also the case that the extension deal also included a company car ? I heard Macrae and **** were to gift him a ex display V6 Ford Probe..? G
  3. Reported today in Courier. Charlie Christie has signed a 1 year extension. Not a 2 year extension. Graham
  4. Ok didn't here this in the taxi. But being on nightshift looks like I'm first to the morning papers. Both Courier and P and J report today: We have signed Steve Walsh (a central defender) on a 6 month loan from Swansea (previously a product of Chelsea youth programme). He is 22 and originally hails from Aberdeen. (Which is prob why he is willing to come to Inverness). I believe he has been capped at under 21 level for Scotland. He has just signed a new 1yr deal with Swansea, but as he has been out with shoulder injury for most of his 6 months there, they want to loan him to get him playing competitive first team football again. Graham
  5. I don't think the board will concern themselves with the idea that 10cc might be head hunted Unless of course Camelot come in for him... :024: G
  6. Playing Devils advocate now but could the "something wrong with the team" be related to Charlie penning a 2 year extension today. In fact did Charlie sign a 2 year extension?? I'm surprised this has been offered by the board so early in the season! Graham
  7. make sure to pack your brown trousers!!
  8. best bit in the interview is when he critisised most of the team for just punting the ball forward as soon as they got it. He said to the interviewer "You and I can do that!" Perhaps, he fancys a come back!? lol.. G
  9. Didn't we bring in Put.a.line.on as a pacy winger? G
  10. Post match interview on Sentana, Charlie said he was, "Looking to bring in a couple of players" in this window. Apart from a central defender what other cover do we desperately need? Graham
  11. I'd sign him tommorow if he'd come. He looks a better player than our french trialist and he has SPL experience. We could probably afford him. Lets not forget Dunfermline went down cos they couldn't score goals not because they defended that badly. Graham
  12. Their were various chants which linked the keeper to child sex offences and no I'm not going to repeat them word for word on here. Graham
  13. We were in the stand!! and heard the terrace banter from there!! I'm not a prude, and to be honest I'm not hugely bothered. Or at least I won't be until my 6 year old repeats some of the phrases to her mother!! then I will be in the s**ht!! lol However, other parents beside me were getting quite annoyed.. !! How far can you go with heckling before it becomes slander and is treated by the authorities as a criminal offence...?? For years the majority of decent fans have been appalled by the sectarian and racial abuse hurled at football matches. Is this type of heckling of Tony not equally as bad?? Just because he laughs it off dosen't make it right..! Graham
  14. Tony takes it good spirit. However I don't think the Dingwall police agreed... Graham
  15. I don't think many have questioned Blacks skill.. it's his temperment and record of needless bookings that has had many fans so frustrated with him that they would let him go.. Todays 10 mins was not long enough to judge if he has learn't to control himself or not. Only time will tell!! Graham
  16. Ok it's fun taking the rip out of Tony Bullock. However some of the comments shouted from the Inverness crowd today were just plain sick.. Tony may laugh these off.. but I for one was not amused when my 6 year old daughter asked me to define certain terms you were using! I'm no prude, but can you lads please remember this is a family game.. and kids are present.. Graham
  17. I don't get McAllister he plays brilliantly in the reserves, but when you stick him in the first team and he just falls apart.. He was just terrible today.. a liability... even... I know that chances are he will come good but how many chances can you give the lad?? If it is the case he is stopping Wood getting a fair crack at the first team, then Charlie must surely loan him out our pass him on. Graham
  18. Black should have been on for the second half. As in the first half our midfield were just not in the game.. When Black came on his class shone through and dare I say he had a certain cheeky composure... about him.. Graham
  19. Just back from the county game, if we play like that against Rangers we will get hammered ! Our french trialist may cosmetically look the part, but had a poor game today, cannot say he impressed.. ! Graham
  20. Good call :clapping03: Thanks Kencar... I don't post here much.. I am pleased I was right and that nobody told me I was taking squirelesque...lol I had the Hart story the night of Rockness also, but decided not to break it (because of topic!!)... in case I was mis-informed... Can you imagine my suprise when it finally came out 4/5 days later.. Its amazing what you here and see on the Taxis... Graham (all the 2's)
  21. Niculae will sign today Agent and Niculae were in one of our cabs last night in sneck. Driver told me he was told 99% chance deal goes through today. So I guess he could in theory debut tonight. (Of course if he signs today, CC won't play him till he's trained and fit. But a nice thought all the same..! lol) Graham
  22. Deal is as good as done.. I'm a taxi driver in sneck . Last night one of the drivers picked up Marius Niculae and his agent (in Sneck!!).. My fellow driver was told by Marius's agent that he was 99% certain to sign today.. Graham
  23. Considering we get him on a free. Why can't he sign him for a season and give him his £4k a week.? After all a £100k signing fee is almost 2k a week over a year. So why don't the club just use 100k from the transfer pot to subsides a years wages. Graham
  24. Mercenary!! A football club is a buisness.. not a womans social circle get a grip Mr Celtic1Caley3 oh and Libero, Dargo ain't likely to score many goals between now and the end of the season as he will be out for 6-8 weeks. So his injury could cost us a league position or 2 and thats a lot of money as well. Charlie needs to sign a new striker now! Graham
  25. Really bad news for ITC that Dargo has dislocated his shoulder. The Times reports today that he has turned down our final offer re new contract. Nobody is going to want to sign him in this transfer Window now hes injured. Which means he will go on a free at the end of the season. So his accident today has cost the club at least £50k in lost revenue. The money we could have got for him in this Window. Graham
