  1. Forgot all about Cowies. That was a cracker too. Not as good as Imries though!
  2. Esson Tokely Munro Pav Hastings Cowie Vigurs Duncan Imrie Morais Rooney Did I miss something with Morais yesterday? Where was he?
  3. That's the first time in ages that I can remember us scoring not once, but twice from setpieces!! In fact, we looked dangerous from most of our corners and freekicks. Maybe Blackie was right then. All this emphasis on fitness over technique has beenn having a negative effect, and just maybe the last week has seen the players actually training with a ball for a change! It looked as though a big weight had been lifted from the players shoulders, and they were actually enjoying it out on pitch. And it was fantastic to see. Just shows eh....get the right man in and we'll soon be out of this mess.
  4. Dougies was certainly the best I've seen (or can remember at least). Any other nominations?
  5. People go on about the theatricals of the foreign contingent at Hearts, but Diver is easily the worst. He goes down if anyone touches him. Not saying it wasn't a penalty, but it was certainly a soft one.
  6. Agree CD. The fight was back today, such a contrast from the dire performance of last week. The players showed they ARE good enough, and with a bit of luck we'd have deservedly got something from today. Despite losing, I feel confident, with the right manager, we can get ourselves out of this mess.
  7. He made a gesture to the linesman after Esson saved the penalty.
  8. I was on the phone to my lad (to ill to go) telling him all about Imrie's goal when they went and fecking scored!!! Absolutely gutted about the result, I thought we deserved a point. Some great stuff played by us, best I've seen for a long time. Esson, Latvian, Tokely, Duncan, Vigurs, and Cowie were all outstanding.
  9. Welsh...and proud. Never British
  10. Esson Tokely Munro Latvian McBain Cowie Black Vigurs Imrie Morais Rooney
  11. We were wondering in work this morning what salary any prospective ICT manager would be offered.....my guess was 'I haven't got a clue'.
  12. Forget all the fantasy applications like Ardiles, or the big names like Butcher (who's been ***** at every club). I hope the board have the balls to put their personal issues aside, and put our club first. There's one man who the majority of fans want, and that's Robbo. If that's with Bazza, then brilliant, but lets not get personal issues get in the way of what's best for OUR club. Get him in now, if we go down so be it, but if we don't.......

  14. Pretty sure they said exactly the same for the game there earlier this season, but they were on sale on the day in a wee office opposite the home ticket office.
  15. So obviously 'Ossies Dream' was nothing to do with him winning the FA Cup, it was about him managing Caley one day Bizarre....He's gone straight in as my number 1 choice, if only because it means we're bound to see some entertaining football!!
  16. If he can't commit 100% to us then we shouldn't even consider Butcher. Plus he's been mince everywhere else he's managed. Robbo for me....still.
  17. Pavels and Morais both look excellent, so I've no problems with their signings.
  18. Hopefully. Somepne says on another thread that Mikey has already signed for Motherwell, if that's the case then obviously it's too late. If he hasn't though, I know for a fact that he was never going to sign a new contracyt while Brewster was there, so maybe it's not too late. As for Cowie....fingers crossed.
  19. There was a load of them on our bus back up the road on Saturday, including the wee Bennett. And a right good craic they were too.....didn't realise he was his son, but as they were all calling him Bennett it makes sense now!!
  20. Great news. The bloke nearly let his ego destroy our club, and fair play to the board for at last having the balls to punt him (even if took much longer than it should've). A new man now has a few weeks to try and get HIS team sorted out, and this'll hopefully give us the boost in confidence that's so obviously needed. I'm feeling a lot more optimistic about the rest of the season now than I was at 5pm on Saturday afternoon.
  21. Kevin McDonald for me. In the likely event of that not happening though.......Robbo definitely.
  22. Agree, we should aim to get as many there as possible, just like last Saturday, and show the team we're fully behind them. It was just the manager we had issues with!! Hearts sell tickets in the office as you're walking down to the away end. Just buy them on the day.
  23. 'kinell, bottom of the league, playing *****, players not having a clue what they're supposed to be doing on the pitch, looking relegation certainties, losing our best players, board members slagging off the fans, and fans fighting and arguing amongst ourselves.......nice one Brew and the Board, yer doing a fantastic job in destroying OUR club :thumb04: :018:
  24. There's 16 games left, so plenty of points available, including the post split games against all those likely to be down there battling it out with us. IF we had a change of manager before the end of the transfer window then I'm confident we'll survive. Anybody new must be given at least a week to try and sort out a few of his own deals. IF the board keep their heads in the sand, and keep faith with the clueless fecker, then we may as well start planning for Div 1 right now. Change of manager=staying up. Brewster=doomed.

I'd planned to go, and probably still will. It's getting harder to muster up the enthusiasm though!
