  1. The only highlight of the second half was when Imrie wellied the ball at Kyle
  2. Imrie up front is nonsense. I can't even think of an occasion where he's come close to scoring since he's been played in that position. His touch, and crossing are woeful. Sometimes giving 100% effort just isn't enough. Get Foran up there in his place.
  3. Awful performance, great result. That just about sums it up.
  4. The best, for me, was Craig Bellamy. I remember we played Celtic on a nightgame up here, think we lost 2-0? He was the difference between the two teams. Stunning pace, and just an all round top player.
  5. Esson Tokely Munro Pav McBain Morais Kerr Black Imrie Foran Rooney
  6. IF we can beat Killie next week then March 21st could really decide our season. Beat Killie and we'll go into that game 4 points ahead of Falkirk. Beat Falkirk and we'll be 7 ahead of them, and if that happens then I think it'll be byebye Falkirk. I'm actually more confident of getting the result down there than I would be if we were playing them at home as we often do well down there. What chance the subsidised buses again for this game? It must rank as one of the most important in our clubs history so it's vital we get a big following down for this one. Can't wait for it myself. A few weeks ago I didn't care who went down as long as it isn't us....now I really want it to be Falkirk. After their timewasting, playacting, and constant fouling yesterday then it'd be just superb to here that *** Hughes after match analysis when they're 7 points adrift of everyone else come March 21st.
  7. It didn't even look like a headbutt yesterday. From the North Stand it looked like Barr just walked into him, then Russell fell like a sack of *****. His acting is as bad as his passing. Get Kerr in alongside Blackie and let Russell spend some time on the bench. I often get the impression he thinks he's indispensible, time to remind him he's not.
  8. You'd have never known it was us with the 10 men. We dominated the game, and should've at least got a replay. Their keeper won it for them, he made at least 4 excellent saves, wheras I can't remember Esson having to do anything. As said above, the ref was a complete joke, and how so few Falkirk players weren't booked for persistent fouling is a mystery. The penalty was as clear as any you'll see. Lionel is a tool, he had no need to do what he did. Get McBain back at left back and keep him there for the rest of the season. As gutting as it is to go out, I'll take the victory in two weeks over a cup win anyday. And on todays evidence we can go there and get the 3 points no problem. They can put us out of the cups, we'll put them out of the league
  9. How cool did Blackie take the penalty eh??? Really delighted for him. And fair play to Proctor as well for latching on to Weirs mistake and winning the penalty in the first place.
  10. Rock bottom when the big man came here and staring relegation in the face. Now we're off the bottom, and the next few games could really see us open a significant gap over Falkirk....plus a semi final as well!! Yep, I know I'm counting chickens, but the difference since Tel took over is like night and day. I've never been so depressed watching ICT as that miserable day ay Hamilton, but now I can't wait for the games to come round. His interviews, his touch line manner, his humour....everything really comes across as really encouraging to the fans, and obviously the players. And the team and fans have really responded to him. Whatever happens....the guy is already nearing legendary status. Cheers Tel :thumb04: :018:
  11. Not sure, but I think heard them say the highlights are on the BBC site from midnight.
  12. Simple as that....let's keep it that way now :018: :thumb04:
  13. 'kin get in there!!!!!!!! :018: :thumb04: Blackie yer wee star!!!
  14. Oh, and I agree about Zadi. While it's all very entertaining watching him somehow miscontrol his way around players, they guy can't defend and he's a total liabilty in my opinion.
  15. I think we really need to address the issue of our front players if we're to stay up. Imrie is NOT a striker, and while no-one can doubt his ability to chase and harry the whole match, if he can't put the ball in the net then what's the point? Same with Eric....he does a load of running, but nothing else. Plus he's way too lightweight. How many goals have they got between them since they've been playing up front together? 1 We just don't look like scoring through these two. Foran should be pushed up front, alongside Rooney...as you say. Both are excellent in the air, so if we could actually start delivering some decent balls into the box then I'd fancy our chances far more if these two were up front rather than it being Dougie and Eric.
  16. We were awful and didn't deserve anything from that today. Esson, Munro, Tokely, Duncan, Odhiambo....all feckin awful. The rest of them....all ok. No idea what Odhiambo has done to impress anyone, because everytime I've seen him all he ever seems to do is run about a lot. Surely Rooney deserves a shot now? Munro had an absolute mare today, and I wouldn't mind seeing young Duff replace him for a few games. And as for Duncan....yeah, yeah, he does all the breaking up in midfield. He then gives it straight back to the opposition. He's crap and should be punted. Depressing game on the whole, we looked back to our shambolic best at the back, and resorted back to our hoof it up and hope tactic too often.

    Djebi-zadi

Got to be honest...he stills scares the ***** out of me everytime the ball goes anywhere near him. You don't know what the hell to expect. He might welly the ball out over the A9, take a fresh air swipe and miss connecting completely, or gather it and deal with it with a flash of skill you never knew the big man had. He's entertaining that's for sure, not sure he's good for any dodgy hearts mind. Aye, he, like the rest of the team, has improved beyond all recognition, so fair play to him. Be great to see him score a goal, though I suspect if one ever arrives it's going to be from one of his countless mishit crosses that someone decieves the keeper and drops uncannily into the corner of the net.
  18. Still giggling to myself everytime I think of Dougie's freekick
  19. Shocking game, but we won, so who cares!! Hibs are easily the worst team I've seen this year, they were fecking woeful. It's hard to believe Fletcher is valued so highly when he's absolute mince. Highlight of the day was Imrie's free kick, easily the worst I've ever seen Great result, and what a brilliant feeling to actually leave match happy.

    Result V Hibs

Even if Falkirk win, as long as we do the same then that pulls the rest of them 3 points closer. Killie start their nightmare run of games at Ibrox tomorrow, so it's not just Falkirk we should be looking at, it's those few teams just above them too. I think tomorrows game is crucial....win, and I honestly believe we'll stay up, lose and I think the task becomes even harder. I think we'll win, and it'll be the springboard for us putting some results together.
  21. Great stuff....time to get the feckers out after they cheated us out of the other cup!!
  22. You couldn't tell from the tv pictures but, watching from the North Stand, Pav definitely got the ball....it was a brilliant tackle.
  23. I voted Killie in the week, and today made me think that even more. They've got some really tough games coming up, and I reckon they'll be right down there when it comes to the split. In fact, just checked....their next 5 games include Hibs (h), Rangers (a), Aberdeen (a), Celtic (h), us (a)....there's a good chance they could get nothing from those. Aye, I'm sticking with Killie.
  24. I thought it was a brilliant tackle by Pav. Looked like he definitely got the ball first, and it looked outside the area. The cheat took an age before taking a dive, and I thought the ref had blown to book him for diving!
  25. Oh, and the craic with Byrne was class.
