  1. Any chance of an Inverness v London World Cup qualifier t-shirt?
  2. Firstly well done the stewards for letting people enjoy themselves. Great job! Would you prefer stewards over telling everyone to sit down constantly? Were the people standing bothering you in any way?
  3. When we lifted the 1st division trophy against Dundee in 2010 our fans were in the south stand as well. I remember Dundee only had one section in there and maybe only had about 20 or so fans. The attendance was 7,031 so would have had 7k ICT fans there that day. Don't think we will top that tomorrow. If we now hold 7800, I bet u a pint we will beat the 7k number. The source I looked at appears to be wrong and the actual crowd against Dundee wad 6,031 which was only slightly less than the St. Johnstone game but they had more away fans than Dundee. So anything above 6k should see us have the most home fans ever. I'm not so sure we will top 6k going by sales already. Perhaps 5k+

  5. Joe, the assumption that the club are sitting around with their thumb up their butt doing nothing is a bit unfair. It has been communicated on here (several times), on the clubs social media and in response to many calls and requests from people in purchasing tickets etc....as well as put to press (but we have no control over what they choose to print) that we continue to chase the information. Requests are being made several times a day to FC Astra and we've also informed UEFA that we're having trouble getting the information. The club fully appreciate the length that fans such as yourself are going to in travelling out there to support the club and will obviously do everything it can to ensure that people are not left stuck without tickets or access to the game. I wasn't saying anyone had a finger up their bum but I haven't seen any information from the club on here or social media before today. I have been following closely and all I've genuinely seen is a post from yourself saying the club haven't heard anything. Obviously others haven't seen this information from the club either as it's been asked by a few people. Today the club did release a statement letting fans know what was going on. That is all people ask for, some communication from the club.
  6. Perhaps ICT could be a little more proactive and try to find out what's going on instead of sitting and waiting to be contacted? Perhaps they are but as usual the communication and information from the club is amateur. Maybe our fans will just have to pay in, which could sort any problem but for many if it is ticket and they aren't on sale in next couple of days then it will be too late for them to buy them before leaving. Especially fans who don't stay in Inverness.
  7. If you want to look at St Johnstone figures when they qualified to play in 2012.... The home leg saw a crowd of 6023 with 241 visiting fans....home crowd of 5782. That's remarkably close to the 5746 (which included a "small band" of visiting fans) in this years home leg. The higher attendances came when playing against more attractive opposition who would have brought larger travelling crowds.... 7853 v Rosenborg BK - 2013 8594 v FK Minsk - 2013 8486 v FC Luzern - 2014 7001 v Spartak Trnava - 2014 To me, that would suggest that the crowd was influenced more by the opponent than the occasion in and of itself. With Perth being better situated to draw on a larger number of casual/neutral fans, then it's not surprising that's the case. Don't get me wrong, I think it would be great to see us with a crowd of 6000+ (we may do that)....but my personal expectation is that we'll get around 5000. The point of my previous post on this subject was to highlight the potential last years success has to improve the number of season ticket holders....and my view that more season ticket holders would be where the greatest benefit comes from for the club. It's free to list an event on Visit Scotland....but having tried several times without them ever actually listing anything, I gave up. Even attempts to contact them to have the stadium listed as a football stadium have gone unanswered. Those attendances pretty much back up what I was saying in relation to St. Johnstone. The lowest crowds there are around 6k going up to 8.5k. We have the novelty factor of our first ever game in Europe so based on St. Johnstone we should have been aiming for 7k at least. Also don't really accept the larger crowds being against teams with large travelling supports. The highest attendance there is against Minsk. I can't imagine they brought too many fans over!
  8. Being slightly generous with the numbers there CaleyD. Yes that was St. Johnstone's crowd last night but this is their 4th season in a row in Europe. It is our first ever game so much more of an occasion. St. Johnstone also got crowds of 7-8.5k in Europe in recent seasons. With lower home average league attendances. We should have been looking to fill the stadium without too much effort.
  9. I had genuinely thought we would sell the whole stadium out easily.
  10. I'm pretty sure it doesn't get refunded. If there's no home cup games then tough.
  11. John Hughes needs to get onto Google, not just to find out who's home first. Looking it up it looks like the Romanian league starts on July 10/11th, depending on what site you look at. So Astra will have two league games before playing us. Wondering if he can get a stream of it somehow or if there is anyone in the area that can watch them. this HTML class. Value is http://uk.soccerway.
  12. Affraid not. Priority sale is on just now but there is no limit as to how many you can buy. So one season ticket holder could be buying for a group of 10etc. Having a look online there is plenty of seats left in both North and Main stand so maybe the person at the club was just getting over excited. They must be selling well none the less.
  13. That gives us a good indication of what will come to Inverness. Probably less. Also saying we are unsure of behaviour as a reason makes us sound a bit daft. They don't have to be cordoned of with thousands of seats around them. Many teams with bowl stadiums can work out segregation. A section in the south stand Is more than enough to segregate 50 or so fans. Will see how sales go and how club responds.
  14. I firmly believe we can get close to 7,000 home fans for this. Wouldn't it be great if, having ended last season playing in front of the highest number of ICT fans ever to congregate together we started this season in front of the largest number of our own fans ever to attend a home match.... You would have thought but after being told that tickets might not even go to public sale they are selling so well a mate called the stadium and asked and was told South Stand will be away fans only!! Our club do well on many fronts but at times you have to dispair. If we do sell out the home end and leave the South Stand away fans only then it will be a total nonsense decision. Realistically they might only bring a handful of fans so giving them a 2,500 seat stand would be crazy. Accomodate them in the Main stand or even give them a section in the South Stand then leave a section for segregation if that is the worry, then sell the rest to our fans. An extra 2,000+ ICT fans and much more income would then be possible. At least they have time to re-think this.
  15. Ticket sales are supposedly going very well for home game. Is there a possibility we could sell for the south stand as well and split it. We did it before against Dundee when we won the league. Can't see Astra bringing many fans. Could we fill the entire stadium with pretty much home fans, with a small section for away fans.
  16. Not sure if your joking here...but it was us! Seriously? I know my memory's shot but that's ridiculous! What a d1ck! In that case presumably not a naff idea, someone out there must have organised it before and we're now talking about part of a set of commemorative tops! Someone else has done it as well which is what you are probably thinking of. Smaller than our and not able to know they're names till up right close. I can't remember the team either.
  17. Not sure if your joking here...but it was us!
  18. Booked up tonight! Added our names to the bus list but counting the names on the list and comments above me it passes the 98 names! Would that be it full or is there the possibility of another bus?
  19. Still no word on club charter? Even the days they were thinking of being out there would be handy just now.
  20. Not going all the way to Romania to drink in an Irish bar! Plenty Romanian bars to try.
  21. Decent shout. However given there lack of information re the plane which may now have no fans as they have all made alternative arrangements, it might not be the best after all. Draw was Monday. Today is Wednesday. Do you really think thats long enough to deal and confirm a charter let alone publicise it? Yes. The Gellions have the price for their charter, hotel and transfers publicised. do you know roughly what The Gelions are offering? They couldn't get charter from Inverness, that or it was too pricy. So their offering coach to Glasgow on the wed. Direct flight to Bucharest. Hotel wed night. Coach to game and back Thurs. Hotel Thurs night. Flight back Fri am. £530 I had been holding out for gellions plane but quite pricy.
