  1. I believe there were two points selling. You can also buy online. We are a small club with limited resources and staff so folk will really just have to be patient. Lots of time left to buy as well. That is a pretty poor excuse. Two selling points to sell thousands of tickets. If I was a casual fan thinking of going would I bother to wait two hours in a queue when I most likely have other things on. The only thing it could possibly lead to is reduced sales. Compare this to the final when County got there. If I remember right they had about 10+ selling points to meet demand. They also ordered in thousands of extra strips to sell for the final, selling them in Tesco as well with other stands in the town. Also busses were sourced from all over Scotland and even England to meet demand. I just have this feeling our club won't be as organised, with two selling points on the first day a good example. Will we run out of tops in the next week as well?
  2. What a wonderful Get Out Of Jail card this Godwin's Law is to allow any group or individual to behave as they like and not be held to account for what they really are. Sort of a wee bit like anyone who doesn't agree with the SNP being automatically branded as Anti Scottish. The only person who has mentioned people being Anti-Scottish is you. The only person comparing the SNP and in turn people on this messageboard as Nazis, again is you. I see similarities between you and Jim Murphy here, you are both pathetic and have completely lost the plot.
  3. A queue of two hours will lead to people leaving. Are we selling tickets via the one till in the portacabin. We really should have something different set up for this with multiple selling points and outlets set up in the town centre to buy them.
  4. Lol be proud of? Nothing to be proud of in that man. He is comparing the SNP to the Nazis. He's a condescending fruit loop. It seems you might be the only person who isn't bored senseless of him.
  5. Yup... to the extent that you would think that theSNP were the only people who have ever been interested in Scotland's interests. Maybe that's why they've presumed to attempt to amalgamate the national flag and their own party symbol into one and the same thing. I can think of at least one very unfortunate historical precedent there..... Utterly pathetic.
  6. Can you give us some proof that the 105,000+ membership of the SNP is 'packed with Anglophobes'? Or did you just make this up as it fits in with your bitter wee world that you live in?
  7. In that case, how about learning to spell it properly? I can't. It's too scary to spell it correctly, such a scary word. A bit like saying Beatlejuice three times, gives me nightmares the thought of it. Perhaps it is the same for you and the word independence, a word you are too scared to use.
  8. I see Charles is still boring everyone by going around writing seperation a lot and not much else. Seperation, seperation, seperation....scary word!! ZZZZZzzzzzzzz
  9. But Scotland is a loved and equal part of the union. What was it Gordon Brown said...He doesn't want Scotland to be part of the union he wants Scotland to lead the union. Except if Scotland actually has any influence, then he takes it back and was only joking just like his vow.
  10. NIce cut and paste...
  11. With tickets going on sale next Monday does anyone know if there is going to be a singing section like there has been at past games. If not is there a certain stand that people will be going for to create an unofficial one?
  12. I was pleasantly surprised with the prices. Especially kids tickets. £5 for a Scottish cup final. Fantastic.
  13. Looks like we've got the Celtic end. How does it look like that? Falkirk will be coming from the east. You can be almost certain we will have the west stand.
  14. Finish 3rd and lose final- 1st qualifying round 2/9th July. Win Cup- 2nd qualifying round 16/23rd July. Finish 4th and lose final-
  15. Card displays seem to flop too often and you really need big numbers at Hampden to make it work with the bowl shape stadium. Talking over 15-20k. We should all just buy the big flags on bamboo sticks and wave them as they always look great in Hampden if lots of people have them.
  16. There is usually a coin toss to decide home team which gets you the home dressing room (no difference at Hampden) and first choice to wear your home kit. If you google Inverness CT v Falkirk though you will see pictures of us playing in our home top against Falkirk in their home top and also us in our home and them in their away. So hopefully it is both teams in home tops to add to the occasion.
  17. I would just like to declare my love for Graeme Shinnie. He was outstanding today, what a performance. One of the best I have ever seen in a Caley top. A huge reason we won this game. After what he helped us achieve today and hopefully he will go on to lift the cup for ICT, he has made himself a legend at the club. Maybe an imortal legend if he lifts the trophy. When he leaves for Aberdeen he deserves a standing ovation next season when he returns to Inverness.
  18. Falkirk had 25,000 at the final in '97. If tickets are priced well (SFA I know so not much chance) it would encourage fans of other teams to come along for the day. Tickets to sports and children's groups. subsidised buses etc. If a real effort is made then you could be looking at 40k+
  19. I guess we'll have to wait until after the Celtic v Dundee United replay - but I'd say it's likely our game will be on the Sunday. The semi-finals are similar to 2013 when it was Hibs v Falkirk (on the Saturday) and Dundee United v Celtic (on the Sunday). In 2013 that Hibs game was on BBC and the Celtic game on sky as sky get first pick. In 2014 sky showed Dundee utd v rangers on the Saturday and BBC had Aberdeen v st Johnstone on the Sunday. So going by last year we would be on the Saturday. It is all depending on sky's schedule I guess.
  20. Also the last semi finals were both early kick offs for tv. One on Sky and one on BBC. Sky seem to have shown the Saturday games recently so it is almost a stick on that our game will be at 12.30/12.45 on the Saturday.
  21. Paranoid much? A lot of nonsense written there. Scottish Cup semi finals are always at Hampden and have been for a number of years now excluding last year for obvious reasons. Saying it could be at Dens or Ibrox is just ridiculas.
  22. I think quite a few people are confused about how a summer league works. It isn't just played from June-August! At the moment in our 'winter league' we don't play in June and July. Summer leagues don't play in December- February. Leagues in Europe who play a summer league such as Norway, Russia and Ireland play March-November. So if we had a summer league this weeks game would be our first game of the season. Summer league or not the game yesterday would have been called off!
  23. ...and there you have it! I'm not sure how much the postponement will cost, but given the difficulties faced by home, and particularly away, fans for a Tuesday night game, coupled with many preferring not to brave the elements and to watch the CL instead, will make for a crowd reduction of ~1000 IMO. It's simple, Scottish football cannot compete with winter weather and better football on Sky. Summer football would avoid both these issues. You do realise that summer football doesn't mean just June-August. If we had a summer league we would be playing now so the game would be off anyway
  24. How early do they expect fans to be going to the game. A later inspection would give time for pitch to be playable.
