  6. Wilson at the Scottish cup replay? :( Didnt he play for us then!
  7. This is the reason we get looked upon as a bunch of sheep shaggin', cave dwelling, electricity fearing, backwards village idiots. Move into the 21st century guys. I can understand it coming from the ex-pats for the nostalgia inducing element but for the guys who live in the Highlands surely we are not as backwards as the movies would have the world believe, or are we? Embracing your heritage and culture is not backwards. Or would you rather we forgot all about anything connected to the Highlands and just played some american chart music.
  8. Mathematically safe? Yep cant poss finish bottom as it stand
  9. at the moment we are safe. If we win tonight that would be it :(
  10. No music will ever suit everyone's taste Alex, you know that, but pipe bands just add to the old stereotype of the Brigadoon type Highlander, should a young and inspirational club like ourselves not be aiming for a young inspirational image? Pipe bands make us look like sterotypical highlanders? First time i've heard anyone say something so ridiculous. For one we are highlanders and what do you suggest for a 'young inspirational image'? Forget any heritage and culture and copy some americanised version of something? You cant find something more inspirational than the bagpipes, I bet if you asked everyone at a Caley game 95% would want to keep the pipes
  11. In your dreams! When the stadium is a quarter full and people sit whenever if a group of fans sit at the back and start singing it isnt long before 'someone' send over stewards to check all the tickets and move people from on part of an empty stadium to another. For what reason who knows maybe he doesnt like noise, with situations like this happening we will never win
  12. I've no idea who Gillian is but she seems to know a lot about Ian Black. If she says there's a chance, then I'm pretty sure she knows there is one. She seems to talk as if she knows a lot but Black has bought a house in Edinburgh in addition to the contract being agreed and signed. Not taken into account the higher wages, playing in Europe etc etc. There is no way whatsoever that he will stay with us unfortunately.
  13. The Rrrrrred and blue of caley jags the red and blue of caley jags the red and blue of caley jags the rrred and blue...etc

The Glesca crew are on the march Joe - ya Highland ***** - where is the best venue to met up ? Oh - and is the Karaoke on at Brechins. GJ - are King Beastie, Nicola and co going with us ? Not good being back in Inverness, think i've made 3 away games this season! Hopefully get an early train so would be in Glasgow early to go to a pub before heading through to Paisley
  18. Black played for the B team in Inverness a few years ago. Tokely for Scotland though Dont think Alan Hutton will be shaking in his boots!

Think were gonna go down on the train on sat morning if we can get some reasonable priced tickets. If not might look into going on a bus
  20. Billy Mehmet He's English but has an Irish U21 cap through a grandparent
  21. As for how well they would do I tink people over rate the engligh leagues and under rate the Scottish leagues. Reading, wovles etc would never do well in the champions league and make the latter stages or reach a uefa cup final. Rangers and Celtic would both do well in england I think. As for what it would do to our game i think it would kill it and make our league comparable to the irish league. Im sure the irish league is competative but i wouldnt know as it is a nothing league with a terrible co-efficient and teams out at first round of uefa every year etc. I dont want our league to be of the same standard as that. Also other teams such as Hearts and Aberdeen could also follow suit and could hold their own in the priemership. maybe not with the current squads they have but with increased television revenue they could. Bigger populations than teams such as blackburn middlesbrough and bolton and the crowds of these teams are poor sometimes. This is also more of a threat than team GB at the olympics and would lead to a realistic chance of a uk team and doing away with Scotland which I would never want to even think about. For that reason I hope this never ever happens.
  22. It's because Setanta are going to show one of the games live but are picking it nearer the time, depending what game is more important. They cant show games live at 3pm so all the games are at 12.30 so that they kick off at same time and one can be on the tv
  23. These are totaly different circumstances. Maloney was born in Maylasia to Scottish parents and moved back to Scotland when he was 5! So im guessing his parents worked over there for a while. Same situation with Butcher who was born in Singapore to English parents and moved back to England when he was a child. You can hardely say Maloney is Maylasian! Gorams father was scottish, not sure about his mother but she might have been as well. I have no problem with the parent rule but the grandparent rule i would do away with. Mcgeady was born and raised in Scotland to parents both born in Scotland and grandparents on one side both Scottish. I think he has one grandparent who is Irish. His father also wanted him to play for Scotland, he is just your typical plastic paddy brainwashed weegie traitor.
  24. Really should be more than 1 up 1 down anyway. Makes it boring to often if a team is stranded at the bottom or runs away with the first division. There should at least be a playoff between second bottom and second top. I know it would be bad for us but if we finish 2nd bottom then a playoff is the least we should deserve
  25. Thats why he shouldn't get anywhere near the team again. He was at fault for the goal today and those kind of mistakes could have cost the game and maybe get us relegated. He is good to laugh at but thats not what we need just now
