I'm trying to think of a nice way to say please don't come back again...
  2. Whether or not Brown made contact is irrelevant.

I went up to the catering van to try and buy a salad but they never had any. I was pure raging so I was.
  4. It's quite possible that Lennon is shielding Brown from the flak he should be getting but that might be stretching things a bit!

Have you contacted the club to get an official response?
  6. It was a clear red card. A kick out against an opponent, lightweight or not, is still violent conduct. Brown was going to be booked until the referee saw the wee kick he had at Neymar. Yes the Brazilian over reacted but that doesn't disguise the fact that it was a red card offence and Brown was rightly ordered off.
  7. I'm more than happy to continue to be an afterthought for the media. Means we can just get on with our game and we can approach each match with little or no pressure.
  8. Despite winning 7 out of 9 I think it's time to change the formation and players...
  9. May as well. Don't really do much else on a Saturday apart from get worked up at the football.
  10. So why's ours on Tuesday? I know that Hibs v Hearts is now definitely on BBC. Our league game the preceding weekend has been brought forward to the Friday night hence why our Cup game has also been brought forward.

I think we need to shake things up as well. Esson Foran Draper Williams Polworth Shinnie Doran Brill Watkins McKay Warren My thinking is simple. Brill is brilliant (lol) so he should play in the Shinniesta role. Warren is a beast at giving the ball some beef in the air so he should go up front to partner McKay. Esson returns to goal because he seems like a funny guy and Foran and Draper can protect him by smashing anyone that comes near him. Williams and Shinnie will play the wing back roles because they are fast with Polworth protecting the two CBs and you always need to have a young local lad in the team otherwise it's a well known fact that your side is garbage. Doran remains wide right and Watkins should start because he looked amazing against Clach. Makes sense IMVHO.
  12. I'm struggling to believe that anyone thought that referee was good last night.
  13. It was a yellow card for handball. He was bundled into and fell over somewhat theatrically and reached out to pull the ball back in to stop the Dundee break. The referee let play go on for a bit before coming back to book Draper.
  14. Must be preparing for life in Division 1 (I refuse to call it the Championship).
  15. Smashing. I get in around 18:30 so I'll attempt to find you lads somewhere #ClubDeece #LadsOnTour #WhatHappensInDundeeStaysInDundee
  16. When are folk arriving into Dundee?
  17. Shinnies role wasn't exactly meant to include substantial defensive duties. I wonder if bring in Williams for Vincent and moving Ross or Doran behind Mckay might be worth trying against Dundee?
  18. Aye I'm coming down from Aberdeen. Mind and allow additional time for travelling back if it goes to extra time.
  19. Really poor game especially from an ICT point of view. We lacked any real urgency to try and score aside from the last few minutes when we were already losing. Aberdeen probably edged the first half in that they had the better chances to score but we perhaps had more of the ball. Hayes was whipping in some great corners for the Dons players to attack and Brill looked sharp to turn a couple of efforts away. I don't think we would have had many complaints if Aberdeen went in one up at the break. I can't really recall anything of note from Inverness in the first half in an attacking sense. Doran and Ross did okay when they rarely got ball in wide areas but they seemed to get bypassed as ball after ball was punted towards a very isolated Mckay. Draper probably had our best chance when he hit a tame effort to Langfields left post. We started the second half a wee bit better than Aberdeen and had a couple of half chances before the game went back to a bit of a midfield scrap. Only a couple of things worth talking about in the second half. The goal was an excellent piece of skill by Vernon. Controlling the ball under pressure from behind he quickly spun and rifled a shot past Brill into the next. After this we suddenly seemed like we wanted to try and score and the game became very open as we pressed for an equaliser and Aberdeen looked to exploit us on the counter. Best chance fell to Meekings or Warren who headed goalwards and it seemed to come off someone on the line perhaps even an ICT player but I couldn't see well from the other end of the pitch. Overall no significant grumbles about the result just very disappointing that we played so poorly. There seemed to be a complete lack of ability to feed the ball through midfield and bring the attacking three behind Mckay into play. I guess this is (partly) down to Aberdeen packing three midfielders in the middle of the pitch and stifling us but I also think we just didn't look as sharp as we did at the start of the season. Doran and Ross barely saw the ball in the second half and Vincent was anonymous for significant parts of the game. We badly lacked someone playing behind Mckay who could retain the ball whilst under pressure and take it away from goal i.e. Andrew Shinnie. We also had no real creative spark in the middle of the pitch either. Craig Thomson had a rotten game. Beggars belief that he is viewed so highly.

Brewdog a.k.a the 'iBar'. You're such a 'scene' boy!

They seemed to take over a number of places that did really good grub a few years back such as Ma Camerons and The Wild Boar. Depending on what you are after it's fine but it's a bit "samey".

It's standard Belhaven nosh now. Used to do a cracking BLT ciabatta.

The PoW is crap. Most of the pubs in Aberdeen are Belhaven rubbish.
