Out of interest here is our average attendance since we came into the league colour coded for the respective divisions and also includes the finishing positions as well. Big jump when we got into the SPL.

A really good way to show you don't care about something is to post on the thread.

DalneighCaley and Dougal remind me of fans of a band who have been following a group from its early incarnations. As the band gets more popular and more people come along to see them and buy their music the "original" fans resent them for not being there from the beginning and the band as well for "selling out". They slag the band off at every opportunity for "changing", despise the new fans for not knowing what the band is "really about" and pine for the days of old when they used to watch the band with 4 other people.

If you have a finite amount of disposable income you are going to spend what little cash you have on what you feel are the most neccessary purchases. In terms of watching ICT, fans will pick games v Ross County and Celtic and turn up for them but shun the likes of St. Mirren etc.

Why should they? The fans should be the ones creating an atmosphere not the club who can only do so much. They've given fans a dedicated area of sorts for the home games and that hasn't worked. Why should they bother for away games as well?

Because a lot of people like to moan about stuff but not actually do anything to help find a resolution.

To be fair though I don't think you can use yesterdays game as a measurement for that assumption given that Shinniesta was forced to play in a left midfield role to combat the threat of the Well attack down the sides.

Come on Luke. Your positivity is admirable but I find it hard to believe that any ICT fan can have found that game today genuinely funny.

No we held the record for a game v Dunfermline for a while then the Gretna v ICT game @ Fir Park with about 800 people took the top spot. Here is a graph of our average attendance so far this season. It's actually gone up a wee bit but obviously we haven't had a full round of fixtures at home and we've had three games (Celtic, Ross County and Aberdeen) which have traditionally inflated our figures anyway.
