You saw that especially in the first round because everyone was afraid of losing the first game. After that I thought more teams opened up and went for it a bit more but you are right - more teams are more defensive these days. None of the big names really impressed me but I loved every minute of the tournament. Germany were excellent to watch, perhaps the best team of the tournament in terms of entertainment value.

The Argentinians threatened to kidnap him. I enjoyed the final, plenty of action and talking points. Just want you want. Football isn't just about goals.
