This. We've signed players from the Highland League who have made the step up. Why should Gillet be any different? I'm happy with this signing because it looks like he was a fairly regular player for Barnet and they seemed keen to try and get him back. Plus it's an area that a lot of people have commented could do with strengthening. No disrespect to Golly but I wonder how much longer he can keep going. A wee bit of competition at the LB berth will be good.

I remember being in Gs one Friday night when none other than Barry Robson pushed to the front of the queue for the cloakroom demanding he should get out first. But I see they have a score board. So really they are a much bigger club than us.

I can't believe so many folk are getting wound up over a friendly result. As has been said the key thing here is fitness and getting the players used to playing together again as well as integrating any new signings into the starting XI. Man City were beaten 2 - 0 by Sporting Lisbon the other day and their players aren't fussed because they know it's just about the fitness. The same applies to ICT.

If that is the new kit then I am a bit disappointed. Not that it will make any difference to how we play next season but I certainly wouldn't consider buying it.

That was a fantastic top, without the names on it though. I thought it made it look a bit tacky, like one of those rubbish tour t shirts you can buy at gigs. Anyway, that top was pretty much the only one I have bought recently apart from the white one before it. I haven't been too keen on the Home tops recently.
