  1. He was one of my favourite ICT players. I mind a belter of a goal against Alloa / Arbroath from about 35 yards out that secured a 1 - 0 win for us. Fantastic striker of the ball and one of th best passers to ever play for us.
  2. View from the BENI was hilarious! Maybe they should include snippets from this website in the programmes? That said, would the club be happy about that as it might take attention away from ictfcuk?

It's somewhat concerning that you honestly think that was a dive. There was a clear shove by Pepe.

When Fabiano and Diongo had a they were banned for 6 (?) games. Pepe must be looking at 10 surely. EDIT: http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/feedarticle/8466825

Pepe clearly pushed him. Hilarious that Madrid paid €30 million for him. EDIT: lol -> http://www.hellofooty.com/pepes-red-card-vs-getafe
  6. I'm not sure what reelvance the SPL this has to the thread. Every big time in "a league" will drop points against lesser teams. See Espanyol beating Barcelona in La Liga this season and Madrids countless draws and defeats to lower half teams when Schuster was in charge. Lower league teams in Spain, Italy and France could rip up the SPL. Doesn't mean their leagues are fantastic and the fact that Soke and Middlesborough could do likewise doesn't mean anything really. Unless of course you are comparing the SPL to the EPL! Some of the games on MotD on Saturday night involving Blackburn, Hull etc. were mind numbing.
  7. The big four in England might be very good and hugely powerful (see this seasons CL) but beneath them there is a shower of dross like Stoke and Middlesborough.

  9. Rory McAlister relegated them!
  10. Djebi Zadi hardly got forward at all from left back, particularly in the second half. Proctor at right back didn't do significantly better. Thought we seemed quite "rigid" at times. Played a lot of stuff through the middle. When Morais went wide right there was an improvement.

As per usual with this particular thread the topic starter picks a team and then everyone slates some of the choices yet seems unprepared to offer up their own suggestions.
  12. This is one of the worst pre match threads ever on this forum.
  13. I never said the TCS was in a good position. At least the road to the ground is on the level.
  14. What drivel. I'll give you places like Seaton, Tilly and Heathryfold but pop into the West End of Aberdeen for example and you might well be wanting to think again. It does seem to be getting worse. I loved it when we ground shared with them. The girl I was with at the time lived literally 3 minutes walk from the ground. I was against the move back to Inverness for this reason :thumb04: The new ground at Loirston is an interesting one. Location wise it is rubbish unless they build a platform at Cove (maybe as part of Crossrail) or have regular buses up to the ground. If they don't fans have a nice 30 minute walk up Wellington Road to get there.
  15. Yup. I mind a Monday night game v Aberdeen in Inverness that finished 0 - 0 IIRC that I thought was a brilliant, exciting game yet most others thought it was rubbish!
  16. One of the first things that Duncan did was pass the ball out for an Aberdeen throw in breaking down his own teams attacking move! Kerr has picked up a few votes in the PotM poll so others seem to think he had a decent enough outing. Can't say I'm overly bothered if you disagree with me of course. Each to their own and all that.
  17. I am deadly serious about Kerr. Towards the end he seemed to be the only midfielder trying to link defence with the forwards.
  18. *yawn* Another game to add to the list of dull Aberdeen / ICT "derbies" settled by the odd goal in Aberdeens favour. Thought we had a lot of the ball in the first half but struggled to create anything really clear cut. Morais and Imrie were wasteful with the ball at their feet all too often picking the wrong option. Aberdeen had a decent chance when Millers header was palmed away by Esson. In the second half we were very poor. Continuously picked the wrong pass at the crucial moment and were much more sloppy in defence allowing Aberdeen to come into the game more and more and eventually they got their goal. No idea what happened as I was looking at my phone but looked up in time to see Esson stand as the ball looped over his head. Rather muted celebrations by the Aberdeen fans showed how little there was to get excited in what was a very poor game. From an ICT point of view, Morais and Imrie didn't seem to click up front, Djebi Zadi had some last gasp tackles that saved a goal, Esson seemed somewhat shaky and Munro and McMajiks seemed a bit off colour also. Thought Kerr had a good game again for us in the middle of the park. I was worried about Well and HIbs fans talking of his lack of bite but he seems to be showing plenty of enthusiasm for us. At the end of the day it was just one to forget really.
  19. Fantasic news. Hopefully it will be like Goals in Aberdeen and you get leagues set up. Hopefully it won't be like Strikers where players assault you and threaten the ref if they lose their 2 and a half year winning streak against your team

Some clubs like to keep things internal. That could well have happened here.

How do you know nothing was done about it? The Ferguson & McGregor thing was a lot more high profile.
  22. RiG replied to a post in a topic in General Football
What has Boruc got to do with Ferguson and McGregors antics whilst on Scotland duty?

Get it right up you McGregor you total knob!
