The Stirling Albion Pre Match Thread
Who is travelling down for the New City derby on Saturday then? I'll be popping along and looking forward to it. Never been to Forthbank before so it will be a first for me to take in a game there. Stirling have been on a good run but have faltered of late picking up one point in their last 2 games against lower league opponents Alloa and Stranraer. Hopefully we can come through this one unscathed but our Away form is poor and as ICT know only too well anything can happen in a TSC game. We need only remind ourselves of Partick who were at a very similar stage to Stirling last season who dumped us out on penalties. Same team as St. Mirren for me but hopefully a bit more clinical with some of the chances we might create. Oh yeah, party at Chibbers! :015:

Nope it was all of them. Lima was excellent and Darren Barr was impressive for them as well.

Stirling Albion Tickets info
We will be in "the stand" and tickets are £15 and £8 IIRC.

3 Players??
Yeah that's what I thought. Wonder if he used to play for Aberdeen?

3 Players??
I think McPake is at Livi or Aberdeen?

Opposite issue at the Pars. Three out of the four midfielders were on the right leaving Hastings brutally exposed :015:

where is all the atmosphere at games?
Those drums are hand me downs from the old skool drummers :015: :004: I like where I sit in the North Stand. It is pretty good banter for most Home games and normally a decent atmosphere. It souds odd to say this though but I thought we got better atmospheres at Pittodrie when we had 1/4 of the attendances we have just now.

I've said before that I don't like the way the midfield is structured. Against Dunfermline it was rank rotten with players well out of position all over the park. It almost seemed like 3 out of the 4 had a free role as they didn't seem to know where to be. Yesterday we saw Barry and Roy changing about a lot. I'm not sure if that really works but you can't argue with the fact that for 70 minutes we were humping St. Mirren and should have been at least 4 up before they got one back. We'll need to see what the coming weeks bring.

ICT V St Mirren - matchday thread
Were St. Mirren in Inverness until about 16:30? I certainly didn't see much of them. We should have had that game won ages ago and we were holding on at the end. World class save from Brown to make sure we kept the three points which were deserved on the whole. The main thing is we won. Good goals from Wyness and Bayne and we had some great chances to finish Mirren off long before they got a goal back. I think the entire team should be made to do extra training for letting Broadfoot score. Wyness, Rankin, Wilson and Dods were all good performers I felt today and Brown as well, having done so little for most of the game, had to be on top form at the end. Alan Freeland was a complete tit as per usual when he referees an ICT game but that is to be expected.

Is it just Blackie?
I thought from the current reaction he had killed CC.

What a great time to start this thread :003:

DEFEAT AGAINST MIDDEN
I don't care how many players they had fit. We won that's all that matters :003:

Ricardo Hart
So well that he left last season :004:

Black a liability
Rather oddly, just as the BBC did earlier, the SoS lists Blacks bookings in the 17th and 46th minute. So the booking for kicking the first ball was actually his second? I don't mind him getting booked any other time.

Ricardo Hart
How long is he out for? I have heard between 2 weeks to the rest of the season. Anyone able to clear up?

Falkirk match thread
Dammit!!! One man and his dog called Spot, went to mow a meadow :015:

Today's defeat- The real reason...
He's a git! He has scored 1/3 of his goals against us or something like that! :015: He really is a great player. His first touch and skill are fantastic.

Falkirk match thread
I was too busy singing 1 man went to mow, went to mow a meadow :015: It reminded me actually of the goal Thomson scored at St. Mirren in the TSC a couple of years back in that the original 'award' was somewhat dodgy yet far enough away from the goal that the opposition scoring should really have been prevented. EDIT: Just seen IHEs post. What happened after that? Falkirk just passed it up the park and scored?

Today's defeat- The real reason...
If players were tired then they should have been rotated for ones that weren't surely? We have good cover for a lot of positions particularly midfield. The real reason is that we were poor and Falkirk were much better than us and fully deserved their win.

Black a liability
Good gracious. That's a **** of a chip on your shoulder! Would you like some salsa for it?

Falkirk match thread
Nah pretty sure it went out for a throw in. He certainly didn't get back in position to defend it anyway.

Humble Pie Version 2.0
Yup quite right. A few players let themselves down I feel today and you have to wonder how much they wanted the game after getting that result over Rangers? They will have to lift themselves big style against St. Mirren which hopefully they will do. Rankin only went onto the right after the substitutions were made during that (Rangers) game.
