    Season tickets

I'd be inclined to hold off until they give us more information about a possible SS next season.
  2. Someone has updated the Dingwall entry since I was sent it by a County fan. Much funnier than before though I did appreciate the Mallard bit. I also liked this snippet from the Orkney entry:
  3. I hope this is tongue in cheek!? Some of the detritus you see walking the streets of Inverness puts the filthy minks that hang outside MacDonalds in Aberdeen to shame.

    ICT on YouTube

Yeah it's been on here before. Great stuff!
  5. Peterhead friendly was the only one you missed wasn't it?
  6. Rankin v Rangers for reasons already mentioned. Cracking goal. Then he went and did the same down at Falkirk the following week! :015: Wilson v Hibs in the thumping of the Green Brazil was another cracker but what about Baynes header v Celtic (or was it Aberdeen?) where he had to completely re adjust his body and get back behind to ball to header the ball into the net. That was fantastic ability!
  7. League 31/38 CIS Cup 2/2 TSC Cup 3/3 Friendlies 3/6 ------------------------------------ Total 39/49 That's nae bad. I've just worked out that I have travelled over 9,000 miles to see ICT this season! :010: 5,175 miles to get to all the Home games and 3,895 miles to get to the Away ones I was able to get to. I think I am responsible for all the CO2 churned out of Aberdeen! :015:
  8. Hurrah! Average Team Number 1 beat Average Team Number 2! :001:
  9. Craig? Is that you?
  10. I want Milan to win but I think that Liverpool will sadly.
  11. There was a rumour that if Dargo was leaving he wouldn't play on Saturday. If he did play...
  12. Our aim for the last 3 seasons has always been to avid relegation which we have done and, so far, we have been pretty solid in attaining 7th or 8th. If we are to up our aims then finishing around 8th should be it. Trying to break into the Top 6 is an aim that is beyond the club IMO at this moment in time. Nothing to do with lack of ambition more to do with lack of funds, crowds and simply being realistic given what we have to operate on compared to other teams that regularly feature in the top 6. When our average crowd is 10,000 (Min.) and we can pay players over £2,000 a week then we will be able to push into the top 6. Until then anything above 11th is a massive bonus. A nice Cup run would be nice however.
  13. Scoreboards are only needed for people who cannot count and therefore keep the score. Maybe put one in the away end for when Rangers/Celtic come calling.
  14. Every SPL team will be signing on lads from their youth set up and making signings that will add up to more than the 7 you have there Alex. That said I don't think we need a great deal coming in and agree with the numbers you have for ICT. We seldom bring in a load of players and simply replace the 3 or 4 who have left/retired and they (the new signings) take their place in the squad. No great overhauls just simple replacement which keeps everything steady and minimises upheaval.
  15. I believe the Daily Record. It's not like they would make up something to sell more papers now is it?
  16. The difference between Brewster and Christie as a manager? Brewster was always more counter attacking, conservative football I felt. Perfect for playing away from home but not so good for playing at home when teams would employ the same tactic against us and we couldn't break teams down. Now under Charlie we are more open as we try and play better football both home and away. As a result we now are better at breaking teams down in Inverness but leave ourselves more open away from home.

    Lost Keys!

St. Mirren have them - phew! Thanks to whoever handed them in! :clapping03:

    Lost Keys!

Don't suppose anyone picked up a set of keys from Love Street on Saturday did they? I appear to have lost them during an over exuberant celebration of Caffs goal or just general bounciness :blush01: Any info/help appreciated guys :003:
  20. I remember collecting a load of quotes by posters who wanted Black out saying he wasn't really that good anyway. Shame I can't find it. Ian Black is a great wee player and I wouldn't change a bit about his game. Sure it would be great if he got booked less but then he wouldn't be the player he is and I think he would be an inferior player for it if he were to "mellow out". I think he is maturing and we have seen that as players leave the boot in on him trying to provoke a reaction and he just gets on with it now. His quality is evident as those at Tannadice while have noted when, 3 seconds after coming on, he set up our best chance to win the game. Interesting to note that no one condemned Dargo for his actions on Saturday when he kicked the ball away from a St. Mirren player about to take a free kick or deliberately obstructing Broadfoot when he went to take a free kick, things that have seen outcry from our fans on this forum who then demand Black be sold. Perhaps he is an easy target for some I don't know.
  21. This could well be in the wrong place but I don't care! :001: Thought we should say thanks to Peter Paul and any others that are involved with the caleyjags.com site for supplying pictures for pretty much the entire season :clapping03: Another fine set from the St. Mirren game to round off the season :003:
  22. :015: :015: :015: Saw Kev and he said he had been waiting for you to get his ticket before the game but you never turned up!
  23. A lot of Falkirk fans don't. He turned it on for about 4 weeks in December/January and, since he signed his deal with Rangers, has been virtually anonymous in most games he has played.
  24. And he had that excellent shot that Smith did well to save albeit from a deflection.
