  1. No I agree this isn't good enough especially after the other week and also the fact that every game so far has had problems. The Pixie Lott system is the worst PPV offering in the entire league and we went with it because it's cheap. I am edging every closer to asking for a refund on my season ticket...
  2. What exactly are you expecting to see at 2pm? A video feed of an empty pitch? The video feed hasn't gone live before 245pm so far. Just be glad there is a live video link to click on
  3. As expected it's now our turn to be thoroughly embarrassed as we can't even get 300 people to come to a football game. https://www.pressandjournal.co.uk/fp/sport/football/inverness-caledonian-thistle/2724334/caley-thistle-to-change-balloting-system-after-failing-to-reach-full-uptake-of-300-fans/?utm_source=twitter&utm_medium=social
  4. Incredible that we live in a country where the ability to actually get the ball on the ground and dribble past opponents with ease as if the ball is attached to your boot with some string is frowned upon in favour of being really fit and running around a lot. Enjoy Kennedy while you can because he is destined for bigger and better things than ICT. At 18 he is arguably one of the best players in the league already and is perhaps the most exciting player we've been able to watch in many seasons.
  5. He's rumoured to be on the verge of signing a new deal with Rangers which, probably, should be a good thing for us as he is unlikely to get into what looks like a title winning team at Ibrox and he will no longer be "in the shop window" so a full season of first team football might be just what he need. If so it can only benefit us. If he stays of course and doesn't go somewhere else! All of Sutherland's success at Elgin (and Peterhead) has come from playing almost exclusively from playing through the middle of the pitch yet he is being asked to play wide right for us. I'd like to see him get a chance to play centrally to see what he can do there and have Doran on the right. But as mentioned earlier in the thread the front four move around a lot and take up different positions so during games Storey and Sutherland may switch for example if Keatings pushes further forward. I think Kennedy is getting some pretty harsh treatment here. We were at least two or three goals up and Queens were going to do absolutely nothing. He's an exceptionally talented creative, flair players and that's the kind of stuff he will do to create chances. His drag over with the ball to go round Gibson was so good I had to chance my pants afterwards. Why not try and little cheeky flick or two? MacGregor performed an outrageous backheel through the legs of Gibson (I think) and no one seems to be criticising him for that. If there is one criticism that I think is fair of Kennedy it's that he perhaps tries to take on opposition players too many times. In the second half he wriggled into the box and looked to have a good chance to aim for the far post with a shot but instead he cut back inside again and was crowded out.
  6. Queens have a plastic surface so the chances of the game being called off because of the pitch conditions is remote.

  8. After a weekend off we are back in action in a couple of nights with a long trip to Queen of the South. One of the best away day trips has been ruined because of COVID-19 and the SPFL moving it to a Friday night for coverage on a TV channel that almost no one watches but don't let that get you down and tune in to the BBC Scotland channel from 19:30 on Friday to see us take on the Doonhamers. A really impressive win over early season "surprise" package Raith Rovers coupled with a number of players coming back from injury means confidence will surely be high ahead of this one. Queens are a shambles of a team thrown together last minute in a similar manner as we were at the start of the 17/18 season. That said, they've not performed that badly so it's not going to be an easy game but hopefully it's one we can win and keep up our remarkable run of results in Dumfries where we haven't lost since 2004! The last time we lost there Busted, one of the great UK heavy metal bands of the early noughties, were number one. No need for streaming info although after 30 seconds of listening to Leanne Crichton and Jonathan Sutherland you may even be desperate enough for our commentator to take over...

  10. Send an anonymous email to the club grassing him up. I hear they like getting those.
  11. Starting to think it was Coll Donaldson who complained.
  12. I was thinking this. We made fun of Ross County for not being able to shift 300 tickets and then we go and do the same. Was it because people weren't aware, didn't want to go or simply couldn't be bothered?

    Whaaaaaat!

If it was even sent from an ICT fan of course...

    Whaaaaaat!

Woof that's Jackson telt then ETA: Whilst not an official "measurement" the fact that this story has barely made a ripple on P & B (AFAIK) tells you everything.

    Whaaaaaat!

Maybe an irked employee of a company who used to do the stewarding...
  16. That's literally why I said "surmising" in my post you've quoted. Ignoring for a moment the travel restrictions and accompanying exemptions you can see why potentially bringing stewards in from an area of the country that is in Tier 4 lockdown might not look as good as say bring them in from somewhere slightly closer that is in Tier 2? Regardless, I agree that any security company right now will be employing temperature checks, masks etc for their staff so whilst the whole thing doesn't look good it doesn't mean that we are necessarily in the wrong with what has happened given the aforementioned exemptions that can be applied. And in other news I'm off to fill out an application form to be a steward at the next ICT home game...

    Whaaaaaat!

Reminder that Keith Jackson's Twitter handle is @tedermeatballs which I will forever misread as @tendermeatballs and wonder just what was going through his mind when he signed up to Twitter.
  18. RiG

    Whaaaaaat!

Given our stewards typically sit on their arse doing nothing I'd say that probably could be done from home actually.
  19. RiG

    Whaaaaaat!

By all accounts no one was "corralled like cattle". Fans, as they had been told, were required to arrive within certain time slots and then had to wait to get their temperature checked before they were allowed to be let into the ground. Bussing stewards in from Glasgow is not particularly smart but security staff are classed as keyworkers so they can move around the country for work though it would obviously have been better if we could have sourced the required staff locally or from somewhere like Moray or Aberdeen(shire).
  20. I can't believe that no company in the Highlands could have provided stewards for Saturday. Even if they were somehow all on furlough options in Moray, Aberdeenshire and Aberdeen City could have been looked at. To bring people up from a Tier 4 area (surmising here) is mind boggling. ETA: Reminded that security staff are categorised as keyworkers in Scotland so the club might be able to wriggle out of it that way. Still not a great look however.
  21. So who did the Lee Wallace on the club then? https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/inverness-face-sfa-probe-drafting-23056998.amp?__twitter_impression=true In fairness bringing stewards up from Glasgow is utterly daft but moaning about being "corralled like cattle whilst having temperatures checked" - you were told this was going to happen before the game.
  22. I stand corrected on the equipment issue in which case it is even more bizarre that the camera(s) used for the highlights aren't used for the main game. We're getting a much poorer product in return. And for @Row S not to have had a reply some 4 weeks after making contact with the club is also extremely poor.
  23. I can only imagine there must be some reason that the cameras on the A9 side can't be used for streaming games. What they would be I don't know but it's a question that's well worth asking the club because the difference in quality is night and day.
  24. I must be honest I am starting to sway towards asking for something back from the club. I was content to let the club have the remaining £80 or so value from last seasons ticket book however I am starting to grudge the fact that, as a ST holder, I am paying 50% more per game than a PPV fan. Whilst it's not the clubs fault that the COVID situation is going on longer than expected (we all hoped to be back in grounds by now!) as things stand I am worse off being a ST holder than a PATG supporter which is disappointing. People have mentioned before about feeling more and more like a customer than being valued as a supporter of the club and I'm definitely heading that way as well.
  25. Our highlights are up now: What a touch and run by Kennedy at 5:08.
