Barry was underpeforming a season or two back and he will have been the first to admit that. The turnaround since then has been phenominal however and for someone at the 'ripe old age' of 34 he is still looking pretty fit. Perhaps no as fit as he did under Brewster but he is still one of our most dangerous players and a very creative influence for us. I would like to see him given another year.

I doubt that they care what 2 fans think on a forum. That's 2 fans out of an average gate of 4,000 odd that have chosen to post such a statement on this site doubting CC as manager. I'm still unsure about him and definately not sure about a certain signing he made but I'm happy to support the team in the meantime before I take over the reigns :001:

Where are these people asking for CC to be sacked? I know a few folk have questioned the McSwegan signing and that we are going into a very impotant stage of the season but I haven't seen anything saying that CC should be sacked? :angry04: <- What a cool smiley!

Who are all the haters? AFAIK there are people questioning his signing of McSwegan but I haven't seen any real hate for CC.

I don't think you are understanding why people want to know why he wasn't on the bench if we signed him.

Like others I wasn't at the game but to suggest that Mark Brown was exceptional is laughable. Both he and Smith seemed to go through a phase were they were trying outdo each other in f'cking things up. This however is based on Radio Commentary so perhaps someone at the game can enlighten?

It was. from what I am hearing I think this is what happened. The Hamilton player slid in for a challenge, the CLyde chap jumped out the way and on the way down appears to have caught his studs on the Hamilton lads neck and this has caused him to have severe breathing problems. Luckily it seems he will make a full recovery. Fingers crossed.

Bullard of Fulham suffered a horrendous knee injury. A lower league game in England was called off due to a bad injury and Clyde v Hamilton was also abandoned at the end due to a similar incident. Not a nice day :007:

But Craig Dargo was not 36 and was not judged to be not good enough for a 1st Division team in the bottom half of SFL 1 just 2 points off bottom.

Gary McSwegan is also no Dion Dublin who has at least played football in the last couple of years to some degree.

I bet he doesn't score at Fir Park. Dargo is back and I would expect him to start with Bayne given that they linked up so well in the game down there last season where we won 1 - 0. It would of course be great if he does but I cannot see it. It would be like Man Utd signing Dion Dublin! Whether he has been signed as back up is irrelevant for me. We have cover for the striking department. What we don't have cover for is right back . That's where I feel we should have strengthened especially after losing two players there.

I think Rangers are rubbish but they are clearly better than us so maybe 4 games in a row.

I don't fully agree with the comments RE: CC but McSwegan is a poor signing. Surely if McSwegan could still do a turn then County wouldn't have free transfered him?
