  1. Even ones whose fans perform Hitler salutes while playing a game in Israel?
  2. :015: :015: :015: Aye maybe combined they do!
  3. Looking at the table tonight - http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/s...ble/default.stm - you could argue that is how the teams should be split certainly in terms of top half and bottom half teams anyway. Not being a boo boy but being realistic. Until we get a bigger transfer/wage budget then we should be aiming for something like 9th or 10th.
  4. I just think we are a 10th place team to be perfectly honest. We've only won a quarter of our games and that really isn't good enough for a place in the top 6. We are a team that would typically be found around 9th or 10th in the league. If we do better than that - bonus and a nice Cup run would go down well also.
  5. I will be strongly supporting Milan and Tel Aviv over the next couple of days :003:
  6. If you don't get any help from here I recommend giving the stadium a call. 01463 222880 :003:
  7. I bet it was Scotty who started the rumour! :008: :015:
  8. Caley D - I don't see anyone suggesting that we have a right to win this. I think 4 - 5 - 1 could be a useful formation to employ. It serves Chelsea well in that they play defensive and soak up oressure but just as quickly launch a counter attack with the 2 wide midfielders acting as extra forwards. This is the kind of tactic we seem to use very well - soak up pressure and hit on the break. I think the one key thing we have to do is pass the football and get away from the long ball.
  9. Should be by July/August time :003:
  10. Our best player along with Wilson this season.
  11. I bet Celtic would love him to start to given that he has only played about 2 reserve games in the last 4 months.
  12. What's interesting is that actually compares favourably to Wyness' goals in the past season or so. We seem to have hit quite a lean spell not just in the last couple of weeks but past few months!
  13. I would go with that actually Gaz. I think that is an excellent set up. Use Wilson and Rankin as wide attacking midfielders like we used Bingham and Wilson when Robbo used his front 3 that had Ritchie as the main striker. Of course Bayne would take over this role here. By having Duncan as a sitting midfielder that means we can afford to have Rankin and Wilson push further forward and when they do Black and McBain, when on the defensive, can drop a bit to the right and left respectively to fill out the midfield a bit more when defending.
  14. Back from injury and working up his fitness in the reserves.
  15. I know and that is what annoys me to be honest. Why can we turn up for Celtic but not for other games? Why do we suddenly resort to long ball football against other teams yet play Celtic off the park with some of our play? Frustrating to say the least.
  16. Here is the team that played so well against Celtic. Inverness CT: Fraser, Tokely, Dods, Munro, Hastings, Wilson, McBain, Duncan (Black 74), Rankin, Bayne, Wyness (McAllister 2), McAllister (Paatelainen 84). Subs Not Used: Ridgers, McCaffrey, Morgan, Soane. Here is the team that played so poorly against Hearts. Inverness CT: Fraser, Tokely, Dods, Munro, Hastings, Wilson (McSwegan 85), McBain, Duncan, Rankin (Morgan 63), Bayne, McAllister. Subs Not Used: Ridgers, McCaffrey, Black, Paatelainen, Soane. Here is the team that played so (apparently) poorly against Motherwell. Inverness CT: Fraser, Tokely, Dods, Munro, Hastings, Wilson, Duncan (Black 70), McBain, Rankin (Paatelainen 72), McAllister (McSwegan 75), Bayne. So that's pretty much man for man the exact same team that played so well against Celtic yet has been so poor in the last couple of games.
  17. That's what I had always heard but not sure if it is actually a rule as such. Of course if it is a rule then it would mean that a game where all 6 subs are made in the 2nd half would result in at least 3 minutes of ET.
  18. Also agree. Duncan sounded like he was having a poor one by his previously high standards. As I said yesterday it seems such a shame that after a fantastic performance against Celtic we seem to have returned to playing the football that we were playing just before Christmas which was painful to watch.
  19. Wilson was commented on as having a few really good crosses in the 2nd half. Thing is those at the game are in a far better position to say who was good or not than those who listened in on the radio (like me).
  20. The Champions and relegation spot has been pretty much decided. Ultimately they are the ones that matter most in the SPL come the end of the season.
  21. Pretty sure it was going to be Fir Park?
  22. Of course they should have and I bet CC tried to get someone in but either no one was available or they were priced out of a move for a player because of the fee or because of wages. Do you honestly think that CC thought "Ach we don't need anyone else in we'll be fine."?
  23. ...trip down South for us next year. It is looking increasingly likely that the Pars are doomed and that Gretna will come up either playing at their nice shiny new ground or at Fir Park. If it is to be the former of the two who would likely undertake this mammoth journey? I'd like to think I would give it a shot
  24. Everyone knows McSwegan isn't fit. Charlie even admitted this the other week in the papers putting it down to the Reserve fixtures being cancelled over Christmas (or were there simply no games?). Regardless, with McSwegan unfit and Rory at the minute still far too inconsistent and apparently lacking at this level you could argue that we have only one recognised and fit striker just now.
