  1. To be fair though, Ferguson is a complete moron.

Certainly during the commentary they said 800. In the interview I think he said 600. As Scotty says he also said or it was later revealed we sold out our allocation. Not really sure what we could have done therefore to make the Away crowd not crap.

Were you listening to Radio Scotland? They said 800 fans were down there.
  4. Have you not, in a way, just contradicted yourself there? You say he got the goal and that is... Yet you seem to want so much more from him as well and indeed question his selection ahead of other players. Surely if he is scoring these goals then, as you say, you can't really ask for much more from the guy?

Oh what a shock! People don't agree with me! :006: :015: :004: I see what you mean but I died down a couple of hours after the Scotland game but I am still buzzing now and about to head down to get a hold of the P & J now to read about it all again :001:

    He didn't sign Black.
  7. Okay so in the last week we have had to pretty amazing results with both Scotland and ICT defying the odds to beat their opponents into submission. Now I personally, while happy enough, wasn't dancing all ove the place in delight like others were. I like Scotland but I have to be honest, I am not overly bothered if they win or lose. But with ICTs result on Saturday I was buzzing. When the goal went in I leapt out of my seat and buzzed round the flat much to the amusment of my pals who were there. I was shouting out the window at random passers by in the Matalan car park - it meant so much more than Scotlands goal. Basically, the ICT result made me a lot happier than the Scotland one and reaffirmed I am more of a club supporter than an international one. What about yourselves?
  8. Look at the goal again and I think we need to give more credit to Bayne. At first I thought there was a deflection on the ball before it went in but I don't think there is. In fact, it is a very clever little lob over the keeper as he slides in - a great finish from him :001:
  9. I think you are correct...

    No one using this?
  14. Any idea what Wednesdays word was? I Fear We May Lose Dargo - Caley Thistle Boss Said Christie: "Craig's been spoken to, though not lately. We took both Craig and Mark Brown in together in preseason, albeit briefly, and intimated to them both how much of a part we see them having in the club's future. We intimated the sort of deal we'd be looking at and said we would certainly be talking to them well before the transfer window. These things don't happen overnight, We intimate we want to keep them, give them a rough guide of what enhanced terms we can offer and let them go away and speak to wives, agents, fathers and whatever." This was in Wednesdays P & J (Aberdeen - shire Edition) but can't seem to find it on their site.

I think Olaf has had too much of an impact on you Gaz! :015: Latapy was kept quiet in the CIS game and they still beat us. We are two very evenly matched teams IMO. It all comes down to what happens on the day and who clicks into gear the quickest.
  16. Aye thought so. Another reason not to go for him. £1,000 in the 2nd division? :010:
  17. Maybe I am picking this up wrong but is that meant to imply we can't afford him? Almost all our players are on contracts in excess of £10,000 per year. Was that meant to be £1,000 per week?
  18. The drums are back Alex - I think with the same drums as well - but we need drummers who more than just one beat. Those guys are good for some noise though and brought balloons last time! :001: IMO... We need to lower prices to get more folk there We need to abolish designated seating We need to sell those horn thingys at the ground - they are quite popular aren't they? See a lot of folk with them We need to allow airhorns, bog roll and confetti inside the ground We need to get rid of the Hitler stewards who make you sit down if you stand up to shout encouragement (Same goes for the old people - "Sit down I can't see!", "You're not missing anything mate, Barry Wilson is running over to take a corner", "Well be quiet then", "No! I am trying to get behind the team"). That is what we are up against.

Do you and I ever agree on anything Gary? :006: :015: :016:
  20. Makes perfect sense to me. I think you are the one who has forgotten the memory pills Mrs PB - take a gander at who else is playing at Home the Saturday we play St. Mirren :004:

On the left yes he has started there once. He has also been moved there on a couple of ocassions when subs have come on and he has also turned up on the right. On each ocassion he kept drifting back inside to the centre.

Clearly :006: He is? So we play him in a completely different role to the one he played in at Ross County which is why we paid 65k for him? Yes I remember them. Bingham played wide left in a front 3 and Robsons was a natrual left winger. Rankin was at his most successful for County in a central midfield pairing. He was allowed to do all the running forward while Cowie did the all the tidying up by sitting in front of the defence. This allowed Rankin to get forward whenever he wanted and this is what enabled him to get the goals. You want to play a midfielder who has found a niche in the middle of the park on the left hand side of the pitch where he will continually drift inside as we have seen all season thus leaving Hastings/Golly exposed and us with no natural balance?

Wonder if he'll go back to Hibees?
