  1. Black was, for me, MOTM by a great distance. He had some sublime touches and his control at times was excellent. I thought he was subbed as he had already been booked but that turned out to not be the case.

    Today's Ref

He was all right in the first half but the less said about his second half 'performance' the better. Another name for the list of Refs who are utter sacks. Murray Freeland MacDonald Brines Does Scotland have any good refs anymore? Bring back Young, Dallas and Blady!

    Gretna

Maybe they can continue to "buy the dream" by snapping up the entire Derry team before the 2nd leg?
  4. For around 100k we could get him. 0% chance of that happening.
  5. The pressure on these guys is going to be incredible at Yinited. Brewster has set himself up for a fall. He has chased these same 3 players all summer and onlynow has he got one of them. If Yinited don't turn it around soon then both the players and CB will be under serious pressure.
  6. *cough* Partick! *cough* Ayr! *cough* Queens Park! :016:

Where do you go to get this information? I can never find anything on the SFA site.
  8. I think the very public statements saying that he is not for sale should clear that one up but I doubt it.

    Dods

You know this how? AFAIK none of the valuations have been met although the Proctor bid is getting closer.
  10. Just edited your post to highlight the ICT tie :004: A good tie, at home, against very 'lowly' opposition. That said, lets not forget Queens Park who royally shafted us after we underestimated them. Ties to be played on the 22nd or 23rd of August. Please let it be the 23rd!

Brown Tokley Caff Munro Hastings Wilson Black Rankin Morgan (McBain) Dargo Bayne (Wyness) If Bayne starts get Morgan on the left side of midfield. His crossing is fantastic and with Baynes aerial threat we might have a potent goal scoring threat there. If CC decides to retain McBain on the left keep Wyness in there. When Royksopp gets shown the inside he always cuts back on his left and can't get a cross in so a targetman in the box might be a bit of a waste there. Wyness offers a route to goal through neat interchange of passing which McBain is good at - keep it nice and simple and pass it.

My brain cells are no use to you! :015: Sorry!

    Dods

Maybe CC shouldn't have blasted Dods after the St. Mirren game. I'm sure that really helped :006:

    Celtic Park

So what exactly are you asking here?
  15. Why should he be ahead of Denzil? Wyness' link up play and holding the ball up and spreading it to other players has been superb in the last two games.

    Dods

Sell him! He clearly isn't happy and is a shadow of the player he was last season. He obviously doesn't want to be here and he wants to go to Yinited.
  17. Craig - you know full well what the score is with Ian Black. Away with yer pish!
  18. I'm not quite sure why Black is getting all this stick. Yes he was like that last seasn but he was really good on Saturday and his bringing the ball out of defence was excellent. His close control and then released pass when under pressure from 2 Dons players was another example of why this guy is one of the best youngsters in our game.
  19. I bet even IHE never saw this one coming! :017: :017: :015: :015:
  20. He's gone to Accies http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t...cal/5257790.stm

    Ritchie Hart

Strongly disagree on the crossing thing. Take Morgan and now Rankin out of our team and Hart is by far and away the best crosser we have - IMO.
  22. I think this is a poor decision by ICT. With the uncertainty surrounding Dods and Proctor, letting our other right back leave the club is a daft decision. Caff can play there but what if Dods leaves? He will go to centre back leaving us with no established cover for right back or in the centre of defence. IMO - a poor decision.
  23. Totally agree. I think we asked this before about whether the club has to have designated seating but I think it's one of the rules of the SPL but not 100% sure on that.
  24. Yeah maybe in the past I guess. Certainly I mind going through Secondary school and when you hit the SG you thought these are impossible! Then when you did Highers and Advanced Highers or CSYS you laughed at people saying S.G. were hard. Then you go to Uni and you get some exams here that are ridiculously hard and again you look back and think how easy Highers etc. were. Although I will admit that some courses you do in 1st year are laughable! I wish I could dig up a TS1001 paper - in fact I might have a look and see if I can! EDIT: ****, can't find anything. TS1001 was called Tools for Science and designed for people who didn't have B's in one of the following subjects - Maths, Computing or Physics. One of the computing questions asked which of the following peripherals is classed as an output device a) Keyboard b) Monitor c) Mouse d) Floppy Disc while one of the maths questions was "Multiply out the following 2(x+1)" which was just daft. Needless to say I got my best ever exam mark in this course!
  25. Still a few weeks to go but I know I am on course for just a simple MSc :007: :015: :015: :015:
