Agree about Rankin and I think that he and Black can work together in the centre of midfield. I think that Wyness and Dargo look about as confident as each other in front of goal to be honest. However Denzil elsewhere on the pitch is still looking pretty sound most of the time and so is Dargo. They both need a wee bit of luck for me. Given our success last season at Tynie with a target man and nippy striker combination in Brewster and Dargo I would still expect Bayne to come in for Wyness with Denzil perhaps restored the following week against Motherwell.

Why are you worried about Wyness? If it's because he hasn't scored then I would be more worried about the fact that Dargo has only scored on goal this season so far. Wyness game isn't all about setting up goals. His first touch and control and still on close to top form as was seen when he held onto the ball right on the touchline, surrounded by 2 Celtic players and yet he still managed to wriggle free and play a pass. Top stuff!

As much as it pains me to say it I agree with the Arab regarding what has been said here - just because we have finished above Dundee United in two seasons (I think) we aren't bigger. When Milan were twatting about in the middle of Serie A they were still bigger than Udinese. I still think that Black won't really benefit if he went to Hibs/United though.

I think some people are letting their dislike of Dundee Utd cloud their thoughts over this. I don't see why Hibs would be a better move than United to be honest. They are both likely to achieve as much as the other. Neither would be a better move than the other.

I don't actually. I think both of them look a bittie off the pace at times. Completely agree. Those people who call for Dennis to be dropped obviously think that purely based on the fact he hasn't scored. Some of his link up play has been key to us creating chances and I would like to see him play against Celtic.

What a load of absolute nonsense this idea is. Scottish Football RIP. What will SPL2 bring that is better than the SFL1? They are just closing the doors to teams in SFL2 now. What a total joke. F'ck the SPL! :008: EDIT: I'm still raging at this. This SPL 2 will invite teams from the SFL to join it. Why? This means for the next 2 seasons Scottish League football is worthless. Win a league and you might not get into the promised land that is SPL 2. What an absolute kick in the teeth to teams like Peterhead and Cowdenbeath who have done so well recently. I really hope ICT didn't back this idea. I would be ashamed if they did.
