  1. I think this is a poor decision by ICT. With the uncertainty surrounding Dods and Proctor, letting our other right back leave the club is a daft decision. Caff can play there but what if Dods leaves? He will go to centre back leaving us with no established cover for right back or in the centre of defence. IMO - a poor decision.
  2. Totally agree. I think we asked this before about whether the club has to have designated seating but I think it's one of the rules of the SPL but not 100% sure on that.
  3. Yeah maybe in the past I guess. Certainly I mind going through Secondary school and when you hit the SG you thought these are impossible! Then when you did Highers and Advanced Highers or CSYS you laughed at people saying S.G. were hard. Then you go to Uni and you get some exams here that are ridiculously hard and again you look back and think how easy Highers etc. were. Although I will admit that some courses you do in 1st year are laughable! I wish I could dig up a TS1001 paper - in fact I might have a look and see if I can! EDIT: ****, can't find anything. TS1001 was called Tools for Science and designed for people who didn't have B's in one of the following subjects - Maths, Computing or Physics. One of the computing questions asked which of the following peripherals is classed as an output device a) Keyboard b) Monitor c) Mouse d) Floppy Disc while one of the maths questions was "Multiply out the following 2(x+1)" which was just daft. Needless to say I got my best ever exam mark in this course!
  4. Still a few weeks to go but I know I am on course for just a simple MSc :007: :015: :015: :015:
  5. I hope you all fail :003: (Not really of course!)
  6. Yup totally agree. I don't feel that Caff is suited to that position at all. I know he can play there but he is not a designated right back as far as I can see. He is a central defender. He doesn't give enough going forward like Bambi or Parratt would do. I am very disappointed that we are looking like losing both these players now :008:
  7. Better. It was pretty much impossible to get any worse. Loved how they missed out the shocker of a challenge by Dargo and then on Dargo in our game last night :006:
  8. So we now have no cover for Tokely at right back?
  9. So it looks like it is more a case of Scotty having to come clean then! :008: :016:

    Hearts V ICT

Still 3pm according to the Hearts site and the SPL.
  11. That's fine by me! His temperment isn't that bad. But he is late in the tackle. If anyone has a temper problem right now it's Dargo.
  12. My posts weren't meant to single out the North Stand as a whole but as that is where I sit that's where I hear them. And I certainly heard them at the end of the game as well. But you are right - the North Stand and Main stand do give terrific support to the team. But there is a minority that do, unfortunately without any real reason, tend to boo the team on the park for the simplest of things even at this early stage of the season. Very seldom has an away crowd been negative during an ICT game - perhaps Dunfermline last season would be one though (the 2 - 2 game).
  13. Fair enough but it doesn't really leave the fans anything to go on while, in this case, United and ICT try and out do each other. Ooops - more in reply to JKs post there. Sorry Gaz!

    Your Call

    Oh my God.
  15. Fact: 3 minutes into the game last week the Home fans were booing Inverness Caledonian Thistle. They were shouting 'You're sh!te' and 'Useless! Totally useless!'. This is 3 minutes into the new SPL season. They are hardly supporting the team by doing that are they? Can the players realistically be expected to perform when people criticise them so quickly?
  16. With *this story* apparently suggesting that Proctor is set to move to Tannadice I couldn't help but pick up on this key paragraph; Now that's funny. I could have sworn that recently CC, GB and DS have all said that we won't sell anyone to the Arabs and also that the three players, one of whom was Proctor, that have been subject to bids from Yinited were all in CC first team plans. Why bother making statements such as this only to sell the player a couple of days later?
  17. I would actually agree with you there! :015: I wonder if folk in the North Stand will beat the record, set this season, of booing the team after 3 minutes :006:
  18. You forget that we are playing at Home.
  19. Just wait till Ian Black goes...
  20. He just tracked back and went to ground trying to tackle him but clattered Andersons ankle instead :015:
  21. On a very serious note there was apparently a huge amount of singing going on in the Celtic end and not the good kind... Click 1 Click 2 Fair play to the Celtic fans who are criticising these morons.
  22. There's a shock - someone not agreeing with me on most things! :015: :004:
  23. Aberdeen goal - that's what I've heard now as well but having not seen the Santa pictures I can't be certain. That said, Dods should know better than to stop and claim - play the whistle! Dods - he was very poor I thought. His distribution was rank. Utterly rank. He lost out in several challenges in which he would normally win. I didn't notice who was Captain but if it was Dods then I would remove it from him instantly but maybe, just maybe, persevere with him for another week. He needs to buck up fast if he doesn't want more people turning on him but then again I am harsh :001: McBain - solid enough but all too often he slowed the attack down because he was shown the inside but Hart which meant going onto his right foot which we all know Royksopp can't do. I think he would be better either coming on late as a defensively minded substitute or in the middle but he won't get a chance there as I will go on to... Rankin and Black - this is our centre midfield! Simple as! I disagree with a comment on the other thread about Black being poor. I thought he was very clever bring the ball out of play and showed immense skill when being hussled by two Aberdeen players to twist away from both of them and spread the ball to Rankin. Tanman (Rankin) was looking good as well. Very direct and eager to get forward. Sometimes too ambitious in his passing but a lot of the time he picked the right one and got attacks moving quickly. Wyness - short of confidence yes. Not trying no. He had some great chances but it was Dargo who missed the best one yesterday. Still Denzil showed terrific skill and held the ball up well against the bustling Anderson. No reason why he should be dropped in my opinion. One other thing - for a lot of the game we punted the ball up the park and got nowhere. Suddenly we decided to pass it along the ground and we carved Aberdeen open and this coincided with our best period of the game. Can we do this every week please? We will destroy teams if we do that.
  24. Get it roond ya! :001: From http://sport.scotsman.com/football.cfm?id=1139142006
  25. I tend not to think of those lesser than me - it would be a waste of my time :hail:
