  1. What people are saying is that it was utter stupidity for a guy on a yellow card, who then gave away another foul and was clearly on his last warning, to then aim two kicks at an opposition player for no reason whatsoever. It doesn't take a genius to figure out that that probably wasn't the smartest thing to do. It cost us the game on Saturday and at a time when our squad is already paper thin another suspension is something we could do without.
  2. It's hardly a witch hunt. It's deserved flak for two minutes of utter idiocy that cost us the game. There's no glossing over that.
  3. 2:33 for the two yellow cards. 6:15 for our goal.
  4. ICT fans when John Baird makes a mistake: ICT fans when Mulraney gets two ridiculous red yellow cards inside two minutes and costs us the game:
  5. He really hasn't. He had an excellent run of about 3 or 4 games after we played Falkirk last year and in the recent game against them did well but for the overwhelming majority of this season he's been poor.
  6. Felt confident ahead of the game but then when it was revealed that Vigurs and Polworth were out suspended and we might have missing Doran and Trafford I would have taken a point before hand. For the first 30 minutes I thought we did quite well without really creating anything really clear cut. A couple of half chances here and there but again we were quite wasteful with the few glimpses of goal we got. After the opening 30 minutes Falkirk started to grow into the game and had a couple of chances themselves before Mulraney had his almighty heads gone moment. A cynical trip on the touchline led to his first booking and he was lucky not get a second yellow seconds later when he caught Longridge. Clearly on his last warning he then lost the ball and started harassing the Falkirk player in possession, pushing him before, inexplicably giving him a wee kick sending him crashing to the ground. No choice but to send him off and he then kicked a pitch side water bottle, the best connection he had made with something all game, before storming off down the tunnel. I suspect he would have been subbed at half time anyway but his idiocy turned the game and Falkirk took full advantage. Into the second half and Seedorf chopped down a Falkirk player, looked a clear penalty and Muirhead sent Ridgers the wrong way to put the Bairns one up and before the end another Seedorf clip gave the home side another penalty and again Muirhead dispatched it with ease. With the game over we saw a couple of young lads come on for some first team action and they provided probably the only spark of the second half for ICT supporters when Brown burst from midfield and played a ball forward to Mackay who turned his man and curled a shot into the bottom corner of the net. A glimmer of hope that was quickly put out at Warren was burned for pace down the right side of our defence and the ball crossed for Nelson to seal the win from close range. Very poor from ICT after a reasonable start. The Mulraney sending off changed the game. Hopefully Robbo kicks him around the bus on the way backup the road. Ridgers did well making a few good saves and coping well with the conditions and the young lads showed a bit of urgency at least when they came on. The rest though were all largely under par but that could mostly be attributed to the numerical disadvantage in the second half when we struggled to get things going. Trafford and Chalmers didn't really impress in the middle, struggled to carry the ball forward and in the wide areas Calder, after impressing against Dundee, was very poor save for one good cross in the second half. Oakley and Bell spent most of their time trying to hold up the ball for support that never arrived and at the back we were exposed after going behind as we tried to get back into the game. One to forget for ICT really but a good goal from Mackay was a very small bright spot on the day.
  7. Didn't Robbo or Kellacher say that they were waiting until closer to the end of the window before going in for someone? Wonder if our targets are only going to become available if their current side sign replacements.
  8. One slight problem for me yesterday was that we offered little threat down the right flank. As mentioned above Mckay often found himself with space in front of him down the right side but Bell frequently tucked inside to feed off the knock downs from Oakley which left Mckay with little support in front of him. His attempts to take a man on or play a cross in were often poor. By comparison on the left wing you had Calder who worked well with Doran but also is quite competent at taking a man on himself as he has a bit of pace and can put a decent cross in. Having Doran on that side whilst Mckay struggled on the opposite flank seemed a bit self defeating.
  9. Folk just seem to think that OFW should happily tear up his quite lucrative contract with us and go off to any old team for buttons. Get real. as much as he will probably want to play football he also needs to make sure he gets an appropriate contract for doing so. Clearly none of the offers on the table so far have come close to what he earns at ICT so why should be move? As above, if you were being told by your employer that they didn't want you any more and they said you should leave but weren't willing to pay you off would you move to any old job for 25% of your current salary just to be able to do some work?
  10. Yes it is (have a wee look at the link above). If you need tickets posted out to you sadly you have missed the deadline but if you can get along to the ground and pick any tickets you want up you can still save a few quid compared to the walk up price on the day.
  11. Worth noting that the deadline for getting tickets posted out for online orders was today at 2 pm.
  12. Anyway, yesterday continued a somewhat interesting trend for ICT in the league this season so far - the importance of the first goal. When we score the first goal we have won more than 70% of our games. When we lose the first goal we have gone on to lose every single one of those matches. Yesterday we bagged the opener and got the win.
  13. That's a pretty bizarre argument to say the least. This is an ICT website and as such there is going to be speculation about our club and players of pretty much anything really. What players earn, where they might be heading off to in the future, what they eat after a game and so on.
  14. When Coll Donaldson first came to the club he was (allegedly) getting paid £250/week and was told that he should show that he was worth more to encourage him to win a deal. Most of the guys we are getting in noware on (a few) hundred(s) rather than the very low thousands a good few were on in the Premiership.
  15. We got Coll Donaldson to commit to a 2 and a half year deal. No reason why someone like Bell couldn't do similar.
  16. Someone not highlighted from yesterday yet who I think deserves a mention is Connor Bell who yet again put in a tremendous shift across the front line yesterday. Doran and Bell seem to be permitted to switch sides seemingly at random and float all across the forward line supporting Oakley and when you see our third goal it all stems from some incredibly tenacious hold up play from Bell who works hard to get the ball, retain possession before he plays in Polworth to set up Doran. People slag off Baird so much because of his finishing, justified to an extent, but the work rate from Baird and Bell has been so important to the team as we defend from the front. With Doran still working his way up to full fitness again and Baird out of the side at present it's great to see Bell not shirk the additional work he may have to do. Really hope a contract extension is in the minds of the ICT higher ups for the kid. One minor concern from yesterday was that Gary Warren on three separate occasions was caught on the ball when trying to dribble out of defence and on each occasion Queens had an excellent chance to score a goal with Dobbie missing two sitters. Maybe have a word with him and leave the ball playing defender role to Donaldson!
  17. Did he not do something similar earlier this season to the surprise of everyone there?

I've just never rated the guy (I'm sure he's gutted about that). Don't remember him doing much at Killie though he did help us out in one game against them with this slack back pass: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fD6f_Fuwzec&feature=youtu.be&t=23

I'd suggest you take your concerns to the club. Give them a call or an email to highlight the problems you are having. Whilst the point will be debated on here you are unlikely to get an answer.

People sit in the Main Stand because they don't like to make a noise so it's probably expected their jimmies are rustled by some guy from Livingston actually supporting their team by vocally encouraging them.
  21. Great strike from Mulraney for his goal. Smashing stuff.
  22. Any chance of some links to these people stating we would win the league?
  23. The referee was John Beaton. That should tell you a lot.
