CaleyJags.com
I was having a wee nosey on CaleyJags.com and noticed that it hasn't been updated in a while. I had been told that Peter had been unwell for a while but I wondered if anyone on here had any news? I've seen him at a few games and his snaps are always really good quality. Hopefully he's back on it soon.

New kit?
Sounds like the new strip will be coming in around the 23rd of May this year.

Season Ticket
Disappointing to hear that. might encourage more people to actually use their services in Inverness.

Season Ticket
I've raised a number of suggestions with the club via @RedCard but sadly I don't think too many were followed through. Maybe it was a cost thing or a resource issue but I agree that more tie ins with local businesses would be good be it pubs, bars, bakers, travel firms etc.

Saint Johnstone have a partnership with Stagecoach where you can get a half price day ticket on the day of a home game provided you show your season ticket. Maybe ICT could arrange a similar tie up? I know not that many buses go by the ground but it might help fans get into the "city" before the match and get home after it.

Who would you like to see at ICT next season?
File this one under ridiculous but whilst I was up in Aberdeen over the weekend I was speaking to some Dons fans and they were saying that Tansey really hasn't settled well in Aberdeen at all and he will be looking to move on come the summer. Maybe a loan option for us if Vigurs was to move on?

Season Ticket
That would put me off as well. The massive number of postponements and rearranged games last season meant I missed more games than usual but I was able to pass on my ticket to pals who otherwise wouldn't have been able to go themselves so at least it got used.

What advantage would photo cards have over just, erm, normal cards?

Season Ticket
Maybe have a random draw of season ticket holders every week until it's released and they win a new strip?

Season Ticket
An excellent idea. Even if it's just for a couple of hours on certain afternoons though I note what OCG says about lack of interest. Shouldn't stop them from trying. Maybe do a tie in with local business as well to help drum up some interest. Get a season ticket and collect a free dream ring from Harry Gows Very interesting! I used my pals scannable card at Pittodrie over the weekend. Didn't work at all but I'm putting that down to the turnstiles getting stuck and then the machine not letting me scan the card again.

Season Ticket
Cheers for that. Didn't clock any times in the letter but I just had a quick skim read of it and assumed renewals were already available.

Season Ticket
Went to renew online but they don't seem to have any option to do so. Hopefully it's there soon as it's a good idea to capitalise on the recent good form and get folk signed up for next season.

Who would you like to see at ICT next season?
Jordan Marshall was released by QotS and is a pretty decent left back. He just turned down a new contract with them. Not sure if he'd fancy a move north but maybe he has his sights set on bigger things hence leaving Queens. Peter Grant was released by Falkirk basically for not being very good after a serious injury a while back. Something to bear in mind regarding the bad injury and loss of form and it's quite an unlikely suggestion anyway. He'll likely stay in the central belt.

Highland Derbies Next Season
MacGregor is utterly obsessed with besting ICT. If County were to be relegated you can be sure that he would back them as much as would be required to get back into the Premiership. The only way I could ever see him reducing his financial input would be if they went through a sustained period in the Championship without success. There were would only be so long he could continue to write off loans whilst at that level.

Morton -V- Inverness CT
I think this is massively important for the club. A bit of positivity on the pitch for the first time in what seems like an age. We will likely lose some players of quality over the summer as well as trimming some excess "fat" but hopefully Robbo has a bit more time to identify folk that can come in and bolster the relatively sound core squad we have and the players we already have will hopefully be strengthened by a season of football and playing together as well. I don't think we'll win the title next season (shock pessimistic prediction there!) but I do think we will mount a strong charge for the playoffs. Morton had clearly downed tools yesterday but you can only beat what's put in front of you and we did that easily. A good performance all round really and a healthy away support as well that gave excellent backing throughout the game.

James Vincent Interview
A Dunfermline fan on P & B has posted this interview with James Vincent. There's a lengthy discussion of his time at ICT as well which is an interesting read. Have a gander here: https://jordanburtfootball.com/2018/04/20/fortunately-my-gamble-of-having-a-little-run-paid-off-james-vincent-tells-us-what-it-feels-like-to-score-the-winner-in-a-national-cup-final/

Livingston -V- Inverness CT
Sublime strike from Polworth to open the scoring. Picked the ball up about 25 yards from goal and fired in a low drive the flew into the net. We should have added to our lead but poor finishing from Bell and Oakley meant we never did. Livi had a couple of half chances but never really looked like they would get a goal back. Not at our best but a deserved win in the end. Bit of forlorn hope for Saturday...

New Signing
Rumours are that we've offered him a contract that includes a sizeable pay cut. It is unlikely that he is going to sign on with those terms. ETA: The Edinburgh Evening News seems to be backtracking on us signing Beith. Apparently we are now looking at a swap deal involving Mulraney which would be a bit weird given both are out of contract in a few weeks time.

New Signing
Very interesting reading indeed. Could well be a useful player for us next season although a wee bit surprised by the 3 year deal. Looking forward to seeing him in action. Wonder if he will be replacing someone who currently fulfils that similar kind of role and is likely to be away soon?

Inverness CT -V- Dunfermline
Good post and I particularly agree with these points. Go on Pie and Bovril and do a search for Finnie and you'll find a lot of very uncomplimentary posts about the guy. Appreciate that referees do not, and probably will never, have it easy but it's not bias just the fact that there are some staggeringly poor officials in the league these days.

New Signing
The club is not going into administration however financial pressures are such that we cannot compete with the contracts being offered to some of our out of contract players. As I've said before, expect to see some of our more well known players move on to pastures new this summer, both those who are out of contract and those under contract as the club continues to cut back and reduce the wage bill.
