  1. Chris sums the game up well, it really was a stroll in the park. No one on the pitch had a bad game today and they can all be pretty chuffed with how they performed. Vigurs, Polworth, Donaldson and Chalmers were all excellent, Bell and Baird were a real handful up front buzzing all over the front line. Raven and Tremarco have brought so much more solidity to our back line. I think we look better at the back mainly as a result of their return than anything to do with Warren. Mulraney suddenly looks like the player he always threatened to be last season but never really kicked on. That's two fantastic performances in a row from the guy and fingers crossed he knocks on from here. As Chris says Robbo seems to have stumbled across a selection and formation that works will with this personnel and has delivered two of the best results and performances we've seen in months. More of the same against Dunfermline next week please. Also good to see some of the YT back today. Crowd was excellent, really gave the players a lot of support. No question they prefer playing in front of the away crowd who get behind them rather than some of the moaners at home matches. Hopefully a few more supporters get behind the side after these good results.
  2. Or a fellow Hibs fan who was at the game?
  3. Being put into the Foran pay off fund I suspect.

    Rename game

Don't agree with that name but that's a good idea about trying to tie in with the NC500.

  6. Polworth was outstanding today. Clearly getting into a rammy with the coaching staff paid dividends.

It's on Alba. 1715 KO on the Saturday.
  8. Good stuff. i thought it was a rare moment of composed play from the side and well worth a wee round of applause. Of course I'm not tarring every ICT fan with the same brush but the majority seemed annoyed by this good passage of play which was bizarre.
  9. At one point during the game, towards the end of the first half I think, Donaldson had the ball on the main stand side touchline and was being closed down by a Peterhead attacker. As he was being closed down a bunch of ICT fans started yelling for him to get rid of it. He cut inside his opponent, played a nice ball forward to Vigurs (I think) who returned the ball to Tremarco on the left side and he then started running forward linking with a team mate to continue the move. Defence turned into attack through a couple of neat simple balls, ones I haven't seen us play that often this season, yet all the while the home fans were screaming at the players to "Get it forward!", "This is rubbish!", "Fu$*&ng s&!£e Caley!" and so on. I really don't know what these people are expecting from the players in such a situation. An aimless hoof up the park would have led to howls of derision.

Falkirk at home on the 11th or 12th November so the Brechin match will be moved. I was looking forward to playing Falkirk 6 times this season as well.
  11. Given the club seem utterly incapable of issuing a statement without making themselves out to be a laughing stock I definitely think a minimalist statement which still shows due cognisance of the incident and potential repercussions would be best.

Erm, the same Raith Rovers who have lost just once in the league so far this season...? I don't fancy us against anyone right now sadly.

    Fans Boycott

Oh of course but it does raise a pretty pertinent question - where are all the fans going? The main stand for the recent game against Livingston was mostly empty and the north stand was deserted.

In 2008/09 our average crowd was 4,461 dropping down to 3,504 when we went down to the Championship / First Division*. Last season our average crowd was 3,989 which has dropped to 2,809 in the Championship so whilst the drop offs are largely the same (about a 1,000 drop off) the actual numbers are surely concerning. We're bringing in almost 700 fans less than the last time we were in this league*. *Figures are for league games only.
  15. The best thing the club could do is to not release any statement other than to say it's been dealt with internally and, hopefully, resolved.
  16. Completely agree especially with this point. It was great to see the young lad score and also good to see the entire team celebrate with him as well. A rare happy moment for the ICT fans (and players) in what has been an almost year long period of misery.
  17. I was in the Main Stand on Saturday for a change and I couldn't believe the abuse the players were getting. Don't get me wrong it wasn't a great performance but every single little earlier was met with whistles and players being abused by supporters. Absolutely zero encouragement was offered during the course of the game just near constant abuse.
  18. How many time has Robbo slagged off the team in public this season? Three times already isn't it? No wonder tensions are high when the players are getting almost continually rinsed by the manager.
  19. I didn't see the Polworth v Kellacher incident but I wouldn't be surprised if he was simply pissed off at the 'support' he was given today from the fans. Granted he didn't have the finest of games but neither did most of the starting XI yet he seemed to cop an incredible amount of abuse from the home support especially from those in the main stand. Some of the abuse was absolutely shocking and I was quite taken aback by it. The sad thing is that not one of these supporters bothered to get behind Polworth or any of the players today but were quite happy to hurl bile at them any time a mistake was made. Now I am under no illusions that we haven't been great this season and again today we weren't impressive but I can quite understand that some of the players will be getting fed up at the home 'support' spending the best part of 90 minutes moaning and shouting abuse at the team. It's absolutely pathetic. If that kind of abuse took place in the workplace it would be tantamount to bullying and an employee would absolutely snap and maybe that's what happened with Polworth today. ETA: Oooft the pictures don't look great...
  20. Mulraney is a club legend for some of them. Whilst agreeing with what Kingsmills says (Ofere for example is not a club legend) but Raven has been here for a good few years and largely been dependable and a solid player for us. He was part of the side that really kicked on under Butcher and saw us cement ourselves as a top six side for a good few years so whilst legend might be a but much for Raven he should definitely be thought of as an ICT favourite forever written in ICT folklore with that goal v Celtic. Oh, and this screamer v County...
  21. He's not getting shot down at all.
  22. To give the club some credit the new shop looks fantastic. A huge improvement over that manky portacabin (though I do wonder if staff have been let go after relegation hence why that space in the Main Stand has been freed up?) Given that a lot of the work has been undertaken by volunteers so far I wonder if the club might want to think about putting up information on the website regarding some small tasks which require more volunteers to come forward? Right now people don't really know what they can do to help out if they want to but a short list outlining certain tasks might allow folk to put themselves forward to assist? Also worth pointing out the chairman seems to be happy enough to make himself available to chat to fans be it in a group or as individuals. So if you have a concern, grievance or whatever why not get in touch with him and have a chat?
  23. And Hughes reacted with good grace to that decision refusing to take training for two days then threw his toys out the pram for the remainder of his tenure.

    Robertson Out

And the fact still remains that he was fully aware that he would have to do this if he took the job. It's not like he took over with a gargantuan squad that was suddenly depleted and the club lost all its money.
