Oh of course but it does raise a pretty pertinent question - where are all the fans going? The main stand for the recent game against Livingston was mostly empty and the north stand was deserted.

In 2008/09 our average crowd was 4,461 dropping down to 3,504 when we went down to the Championship / First Division*. Last season our average crowd was 3,989 which has dropped to 2,809 in the Championship so whilst the drop offs are largely the same (about a 1,000 drop off) the actual numbers are surely concerning. We're bringing in almost 700 fans less than the last time we were in this league*. *Figures are for league games only.
  3. The best thing the club could do is to not release any statement other than to say it's been dealt with internally and, hopefully, resolved.
  4. Completely agree especially with this point. It was great to see the young lad score and also good to see the entire team celebrate with him as well. A rare happy moment for the ICT fans (and players) in what has been an almost year long period of misery.
  5. I was in the Main Stand on Saturday for a change and I couldn't believe the abuse the players were getting. Don't get me wrong it wasn't a great performance but every single little earlier was met with whistles and players being abused by supporters. Absolutely zero encouragement was offered during the course of the game just near constant abuse.

How many time has Robbo slagged off the team in public this season? Three times already isn't it? No wonder tensions are high when the players are getting almost continually rinsed by the manager.
  7. I didn't see the Polworth v Kellacher incident but I wouldn't be surprised if he was simply pissed off at the 'support' he was given today from the fans. Granted he didn't have the finest of games but neither did most of the starting XI yet he seemed to cop an incredible amount of abuse from the home support especially from those in the main stand. Some of the abuse was absolutely shocking and I was quite taken aback by it. The sad thing is that not one of these supporters bothered to get behind Polworth or any of the players today but were quite happy to hurl bile at them any time a mistake was made. Now I am under no illusions that we haven't been great this season and again today we weren't impressive but I can quite understand that some of the players will be getting fed up at the home 'support' spending the best part of 90 minutes moaning and shouting abuse at the team. It's absolutely pathetic. If that kind of abuse took place in the workplace it would be tantamount to bullying and an employee would absolutely snap and maybe that's what happened with Polworth today. ETA: Oooft the pictures don't look great...

Mulraney is a club legend for some of them. Whilst agreeing with what Kingsmills says (Ofere for example is not a club legend) but Raven has been here for a good few years and largely been dependable and a solid player for us. He was part of the side that really kicked on under Butcher and saw us cement ourselves as a top six side for a good few years so whilst legend might be a but much for Raven he should definitely be thought of as an ICT favourite forever written in ICT folklore with that goal v Celtic. Oh, and this screamer v County...
  9. He's not getting shot down at all.
  10. To give the club some credit the new shop looks fantastic. A huge improvement over that manky portacabin (though I do wonder if staff have been let go after relegation hence why that space in the Main Stand has been freed up?) Given that a lot of the work has been undertaken by volunteers so far I wonder if the club might want to think about putting up information on the website regarding some small tasks which require more volunteers to come forward? Right now people don't really know what they can do to help out if they want to but a short list outlining certain tasks might allow folk to put themselves forward to assist? Also worth pointing out the chairman seems to be happy enough to make himself available to chat to fans be it in a group or as individuals. So if you have a concern, grievance or whatever why not get in touch with him and have a chat?
  11. And Hughes reacted with good grace to that decision refusing to take training for two days then threw his toys out the pram for the remainder of his tenure.

And the fact still remains that he was fully aware that he would have to do this if he took the job. It's not like he took over with a gargantuan squad that was suddenly depleted and the club lost all its money.
  13. You might be thinking of Ali Dia who Souness signed at Southampton because Dia told him he was the cousin of George Weah

Facts that he will have been well aware of when he was being offered the job. @bdu98196 details his failings so far pretty well. I'm not calling for his resignation but I think folk need to take the blinkers off and realise that despite the fact we were in a bad nick before the performance of Robbo as manager so far has hardly been encouraging. I'm struggling to think of anything positive he has brought so far.
  16. I think that was the point that davidg was making

He will have known the financial constraints when he got invited along for a chat and he will also have been well aware of the time pressures to assemble a squad.
  18. A good point. The North Stand was sparse to say the least and the Main Stand - wow. I can't recall a time it was so empty as this picture shows (Taken from an ICT fan on Instagram). It really is depressing stuff. What happened to the 15,000 fans at the Cup Final? I know a lot will have been day trippers and others can't make it every week but it's quite incredible that we never saw any bounce in attendances after that incredible success. A damning indictment of how little the people of Inverness care about their local team and also how little effort seems to have been made by the club to try and lure folk along on a Saturday.
  19. I'm sure the poster(s) dishing out red dots will be along in a second to explain how ICT could magic up some extra cash from nowhere so support Hughes and his, admittedly admirable, aims. FWIW I obviously don't blame Hughes entirely but the downward spiral started under his tenure and accelerated with Foran, entered complete free-fall when Cameron bottled sacking Foran and pretty much crashed and burned with the appointment of Robbo and the utterly amateur operations over the summer coupled with shocking player recruitment. It's not one persons fault but a cumulative effect.
  20. Agree with Renegade. I thought Calder, along with Mulraney, looked uninterested for the most part. I know these guys don't get long to impress but Robertson is hardly being given much reason to start them when they turn in half arsed efforts.
  21. What additional money was there to give Hughes? He'd already spunked shed loads of cash on a raft of unimpressive players, especially countless central midfielders, even if we did have cash to give him I'd have been pretty reticent about giving him any extra money given his spectacular failures in the transfer market during his tenure.
  22. Not sure the following really belongs in here but it almost falls under the same topic so I'll lob it in anyway... We have a board that tells drivers on the A9 when the next home game is but is this not in the wrong place? Currently only traffic coming off the bridge will see it (maybe going on as well I can't remember) and I was wondering yesterday if a similar board on the A82 approach would be a better location? More likely to hit Inverness folk that way and therefore potential ICT fans. Those coming over the bridge probably already have a team you'd imagine.

Erm, he signed most of the players that make up the squad.
  24. I won't be benefitting but I've no problem with it. If a charity has been told to GTF then obviously that's not good but there is nothing to suggest that this is the case. Surely it's a good thing that any collections will help cover the cost of travel for fans going to an away game? Especially if it makes it cheaper for some of our younger fans to get along.
