  1. Morton away @ 1.80 - ta
  2. Did Robbie Winters go in goal for the injured Jim Leighton and wore Ryan Esson's top (2000 Scottish Cup Final)?
  3. Already seen one 'Devine Intervention' headline....I bet that will get a lot of use if he joins up....
  4. Dont u mean King (10) Pole Tudor :-) One for the older posters I suspect
  5. So good I said it twice :-))
  6. Mike Noble? Captain of D3 winning ICT side in 1997. I think he was still at Thistle when they won the Highland League in 87 and the Q Cup in 88 and he had definitely gone to Caley by the time they won their very last trophies such as the 1994 North Cup. PMF said CC which i agree with but I have in my head also that Mikey Noble did the same but could be wrong....probably am.... :-)

  8. With the way results went today we are still 2nd going into the break. At this stage - top scorers in the league (44) and the least defeats (only 3). We have drawn a lot of games and if we had managed to hold out in a few of those games our points total would be even healthier. Having said that I am extremely happy with where we are. Hopefully the break will allow the team some well deserved rest and we will repeat the performances when it all commences again. And on a final note ICT are getting a lot more exposure overseas due to our current league position and hopefully we can still be there at the end of the season even if it is only by goal difference ;-)
  9. How many players won a winner's medal for all three entities - Caledonian FC, Inverness Thistle FC and (Inverness) Caledonian Thistle FC - and in which tournaments?
  10. Harmony - if only for the next hour or so - Happy New Year to all - wherever you lay your hat.... ;-)
  11. Drainage - pah - that was just a new sewage outfall

  13. Seemingly it doesn't need a full cover
  14. Indeed....and the winner's prize is....
  15. But the home end that is another issue....
  16. They don't seem to think the pitch will be a problem....
  17. Aye Sydney four minutes ago
  18. Can't call myself a cricket fan but I have been to a few test matches when I lived in Englandshire. All I can say was they were ok but nothing special then a few years ago I went to the Boxing Day test in Melbourne as part of a stag weekend. Was one of those great days out (like going to one of the Rugby7s tournaments) but can't remember much about the cricket. Have to agree though it is one of those sports best enjoyed with a few cold ones....but somewhere warm....
  19. Chris Johnson?
  20. I agree with you though ;-) Somehow my post disappeared and been replaced by a smiley. Possibly 'a ghost in the machine'.
  21. As part of a clean up of my desk at work this afternoon I came across an old programme. It was for the game on the 22nd January 2011 against Hamilton Accies. Of the 24 man squad listed only six are in the current squad: 1) Ryan Esson 2) Richie Foran 3) Gavin Morrison 4) Nick Ross 5) Shane Sutherland 6) Graeme Shinnie Within eighteen months the squad that had gotten us out of the first division the previous season was virtually rebuilt with the 'where are they now club' (actually some of them found their way to Canada, New Zealand, Turkey, Kazhikstan and Dingwall) consisting of: 1) David Proctor 2) Ross Tokely 3) Stuart Duff 4) Stuart Golabek 5) Lee Cox 6) Eric Odhiambo 7) Russel Duncan 8) Adam Rooney 9) Jonny Hayes 10) Jonny Tuffey 11) Grant Munro 12) Chris Innes 13) Roy McBain 14) Gil Bluhmenstein 15) Max Johnson 16) Dani Sanchez 17) Kevin McCann 18) Kenny Gillet Apart from one or two who may have moved for a better pay package I cannot think of any above who have bettered themselves on the football front. How things have changed....
  22. Morton Home @ 1.28 - ta
  23. Good point made by Terry in the post match interview - we finished the game with three 18 year olds on the pitch. Building for the future.
  24. Another good result by McCarthy's team today - 0-2 away win at his old employers Wolves. Up to 19th and 7 pts off the play-off positions
  25. Another point, a clean sheet, and 2nd in the league at the end of 2012 - nice
