The goal was a great finish by Sanchez but all down to some great play from nick Ross whose had a fantastic start to the game. We definitely look more creative up front than recent weeks so should be more goals to come. Still not convinced about innes though.

As far as I'm concerned if this goes through , I stop buying my season tickets for me and the kids. I've bought them since day one but really have better ways to spend my money if this is a vision of the future of our game. I can't even be bothered going into talking about how bad this is for football in this country because most people know it already, other than our esteemed chairmen it seems.

As much as I think Sutherland is a good prospect, we should start Sanchez next week. One or two fresh faces would be nice too but we'll prob have to wait until the window is near shut. Not the worst result but some tough games coming up.

Hope Sutherland doesn't go the way of macallister in looking the part, getting the starts and not quite delivering the goods.He's desperately needing a goal. Thought Sanchez should have started, he's more likely to unlock a defence and prob did enough to earn it last week.

For a player with about 5 months left on his current deal? What would you describe as a decent fee for Rooney considering the circumstances? I think we'd do well to get ?200k for him sadly. Something that will compensate enough to go some way Towards a replacement. a couple of hundred grand minus stoke citys cut isn't really that good if he can chip in another 12 or so goals and make the difference to give us a good league finish or even a good run in the cup. Hang on to him unless it's really worth our while. That said it wouldnt surprise me in the slightest to see him go for the sort of money your talking.
