  1. yeah but weve had plenty of those sorts of performances ourselves, especially first six games. if they take performances shown against the likes of the old firm into games against the other teams they will start picking up points. dont get me wrong, i expect them to go down, but just think we'll have to look after ourselves rather than getting complacent and thinking at least gretna's here this year so we cant go down cos they'll lose every week. that could lead to some short feckin nails towards the end of season
  2. i think we'll definately need 6 points. have a nasty feeling everyone's writing gretna off to soon. yes they are pish at the moment but they did come within a couple of minutes of beating celtic, did pretty well at ibrox and beat utd. i wouldn't rule out a change of fortune for them yet although their gonna be battling relegation for sure.we need to be sure were well out of it and falkirk and midden can fight it out.
  3. that wasn't to bad a performance considering, although the result was never really in doubt given another **** poor start. bayne up front with wyness :029: missed nicolae's creativity imo but hey ho. bayne did ok with what service he had

i'm quite happy with roscoe too, think our problems in defence lay elsewhere and agree that his attacking play has been a joy to watch at times although it can leave us short at the back at times but you cant have it all ways. he's had a couple of mistakes i could think of, v rangers for example but he'd be my first pick at the back. not sure how fit he is, he always looks ready to keel over when he goes on his runs and the last time i seen him :011: :011: nuff said. anyway dont think he has lungs, is he not made of titanium?
  5. that was pure torture. an absolute shocker. expected a couple of changes but didnt think we'd select the marx brothers in defence. mikey is learning from zibi's school of howlers and midfield was just wrong wrong wrong. long balls a waste of time all night and bayne up front with wyness is a mistake :029: with a semi up for grabs the best front pairing shouldn't be toyed with :018: nicolae and wyness is our best front two. end off story. saturday will be a long day
  6. does it not go to extra time and penalties or have they changed it to replays for the quarters ?
  7. thats for them to decide. if it improves the team further then its fine in my book
  8. dont really see why all the fuss about how much the guy gets paid. why should we really give a sheite. were gettin great value for money since orion are picking up the majority of the the cost and i'd be quite happy if a few more internationalists were signed on a similar basis and of similar quality. the unqualified inaccurate nitpicking of every aspect of his game after every game is getting pretty tedious but whatever floats your boats eh.
  9. me + 3 :021: were winning this one
  10. that'd be sweet, but given our track record a dodgy 1. 0 will give me just as much pleasure against that clunts
  11. maybe a better idea to organise a game every week for those interested.surely could get 10 bodies together here ? i'd be up for it too
  12. bit disappointed today. some great play again which led to our goal but was expecting at least 8 goals and should have stopped both dons goals, caught my pie when i dropped it on the way to my seat and got the traffic moving a bit quicker on the way out the car park. 6/ 10
  13. well said. front to doing well, defence still not right
  14. on the plus wyness was feckin immense.not only our best striker today but best midfielder too, was bloody everywhere. good play by nicolae in the build up to the goal and quite happy with our front two for now. zibi's shiiite enough said. cowie came on to a good game again. anyone else notice brewster sending fraser out to warm up after zibi's **** kicking at the start of the game. dunno if that was to say sort it out or else but didnt work, fraser got a great view of the howler for the goal from about 3 yards away. reckon the defence have a few quid on og's being scored at the bookies hastings looked good, thought we missed wilson brewster pisses me off the way he doesnt include himself for games like this.we were crying out for him second half.guarantee he's a sub for gretna all in all usual stuff v dons. hard luck story, roll on the cup game
  15. bad decision dropping fraser regardless of what zibi did today. the boy deserved the chance to make amends for ONE bad game and thats all he's had this season. thought he's been pretty reliable all season bar two mistakes at killie and it was naive management by brewster to choose this game to drop him, now we have two nervous keepers. zibi has a lot of good attributes as a keeper some of which fraser could learn from but he could learn a bit of fraser too.dont see the point comparing their pros and cons really. bottom line is everyone starts sweating when the ball is played to zibi or even at the thought of him being in the team. the guys made his name through high profile howlers. his kicking is **** poor on a good day and suicidal the rest of the time. the first 15 minutes had me pulling my hair out. the first goal was a total **** up and cost us a point. he's here on loan and does not deserve anything other than to be dropped after today.fraser is the better keeper
  16. thought the problem was more that scotland actually went for it when a more defensive hit on the break approach would have suited away from home. should have played one up not two with dailly in midfield. our midfield was pish tonight. fletcher had his worst game in a scotland shirt and fergusons passing was pish. really missed brown hutton and hartley tonight. stonewall penalty.again!! and great chance for faddy early on and it could have been so different but its not exactly a surprise, it wouldn't be scotland if we weren't left with a nightmare winner takes all showdown with the world champions. bring it on. they've never won here and they aint starting now
  17. think a new stand west stand would be a good idea if done in the right way. i would focus more on incorporating top class conference facilities, press area and hospitality plus a new bar and shop for supporters and training facility for the players. seating could be kept to a minimum, along the lines of seating the size of the old terrace, because we really dont need loads more empty seats but do need improved facilities and things to generate more revenue. the stadium would look more complete and at the same time suit our needs more than a stand for the sake of it which would probably just get filled by the old firm anyway

its a fact it was his first drug offence. how many other times have you seen him done in court? if your alleging otherwise thats up to you but what i was saying is the fact he's a professinal footballer undergoing regular drug testing would lend me to believe that this was his first time on coke. why is that so hard to believe? of course its entirely possible he might have had a couple of joints in years gone by but hey so did bill clinton , even if he didnt inhale

stop the hysteria. talk of rehab and councilling etc are laughable and just highlight the knee jerk society we live in at the moment. every man and his dog is going to the priory these days when in most cases a firm kick in the balls would suffice. most would concede it was more than likely his first drug offence and most would hope to be given a second chance themselves if they acted innappropriately no matter what their background or profession. why the need to condem people to more misery for a stupid mistake and what does that teach kids, dont forgive, just get rid. anyone who thinks the boy isnt hurting a **** of a lot over his actions, A doesnt know the player and B hasn't tried to think what it must be like to deal with something like this for any person. thats not to say he doesnt deserve it and hasnt been stupid, just that the punishment should fit the crime. hope we see him again in a ict jersey
  20. you so do have too much time on your hands but interesting none the less. hatrick v dons anyone?
  21. Sorry mate, that's a duh moment! As above, brings a bit of colour - red - to the game, and can frequently be downright humourous. dont disagree that he can be humourous, just think he can also be arrogant and disrespectful to the opposing team sometimes.
  22. TSTtiger replied to maimie's topic in Caley Thistle
yeah dont see why the club shouldn't stand by him. we all make mistakes. :32: a yellows just fine i reckon
  23. used to like him as a pundit but he is a total ****** as celtic boss. always has some crap excuse for getting beat and comes across as an arrogant little turd
  24. what do you mean your a mark fan and the above will give us a better keeper. mark plays for celtic and our keeper is called mike :017:
