  1. Umm, what? Is this a response to my post that you've quoted? We haven't needed technology in the past to cope with wintery conditions so I fail to see your point here. As a matter of fact, I really don't think we need under-soil heating. So the "take home" message of your post here is that in order to prevent the hassall [sic] of re-arranging indidual fixtures on an ad-hoc basis, you're quite prepared to go through the hassle of re-arranging the entire Scottish football calendar? Would you say that's a fair summary of your arguments on the topic so far?
  2. I don't see any point in changing the football calendar. If it was the other way about, there'd be people complaining about potential heatstroke for the players and that too many fans can't make it because they're on their summer holidays. As for your recent attendances argument, I'm pretty sure that traditionally we don't get big attendances over the Christmas and New Year holiday period.
  3. Nothing to do with the frankly s***e football product on display in stadia throughout Scotland? If pricing structures were to change nation-wide, I think you'd see fans coming out the woodwork - rain, hail or snow.
  4. You honestly think it's the weather that's keeping fans away?
  5. I believe all right! I believe that we need rid of David Sutherland before it's all too late. I believe that once this is achieved, and let's face it, that'll be an achievement, we need rid of all of the current board. Our boardroom should be no place for "yes men" and our entire board are guilty of exactly that. Only once we have achieved all of this, will we see the changes necessary in the dugout and on the pitch that will make us successfull again. Is it any wonder that attendances are dwindelling at an alarming rate?

I've never seen him play in midfield, but if he's being signed for defence, I will not be happy. A truely awful defender.

Our major shareholder has a personality? :D If this is proved to be the case then it's a great pity it's a personality he has and not a bloody interest in football :(
  8. I was actually referring to Duncans only natural ability in being able to talk himself into the referee's book. It seems this time he didn't talk himself into the book, he only squared up to Lilley. The weirdest thing just happened, the names Alex MacLeod and Russell Duncan just appeared in my misted up mirror. Make of that, what you will.
  9. Can anyone confirm how much of an imbecile Duncan was to merit a straight red? :P
  10. They should have taken the lead as soon as we lost 1-0 to Falkirk. Where have they been though? I have absolutely zero confidence in our board and have felt like this since Brewster was reappointed. David Sutherland may well have been there for us in the past, but in one recruitment move, he has single-handedly killed the competetive nature of this club.
  11. Not a good enough excuse for me. Dundee didn't have any problems knocking the ball about. The only time's they played a long ball was when they saw Tokely out of place and there was room for Griffiths to chase the ball in behind our defence.
  12. Yes they stepped up, and we could have continued to out play them if we'd played the ball on the deck like we were in the first half instead of this crappy route one that we seem so determined to play!
  13. So here's the million dollar questions: Why are we so damn inconsistent and how do we correct it?

Sorry, perhaps I'll put in the sarcasm tags next time? And for those of you that aren't too hot on reading simple instructions (I'm looking at you davie) - I'll say it again in here. If you don't like what I have to say, then put me on ignore. Frankly I don't really care if you like what I say, or not.

OK you've convinced me. Let's relish this 2-0 victory over the mighty Airdrie United and remember it for years to come. Next week we're bound to beat lowly Melville's Millions XI FC at least 4-0 in front of thousands of ICT fans at McDiarmid Park. I hear that the SFA engraver is already putting our name on the Alba Cup and Division 1 trophy.
  16. Calling it like I see it. I'll take your "go support someone else" comment as being said while being wound up and pissed off after yet another s***e day at the footie. If you don't like what I have to say, either put me on ignore or take off your rose tinted spectacles when you read what I have to say. I've no intentions of reading your profile. Just making a guess from your username. I don't "slag off" Bulvitis at all - that would involve taking this **** out of him. I merely give my opinion on his ability as a footballer. After all - you asked how he got on, did you not? Why do you believe he deserves more of a chance? Has he not had enough of a chance all ready? Like I've said to Davie, if you don't like what I have to say, don't read it. You'd do well to take that advice on board on a public forum.
  17. No I'm quite serious. Djebi-Zadi and Bulvitis are not footballers, though they have been masquerading as such recently. Obviously there have been some horrendous players played for us in the past; Darran Thomson, Alan Morgan, Marco De Barros - my point is Djebi-Zadi and Bulvitis really take the biscuit. Yes that's correct. However, Djebi-Zadi never was and never will be the answer to our defensive problems. In fact, he isn't the answer to any of our problems.
  18. You really don't have scooby, do you? We have absolutely f**k all to celebrate. We beat a bunch of no-hope 2 division players 2-0 today. Next week we will be horsed by Dundee. The sooner the majority of ICT fans realise we have zero chance of competing with the better teams in this division, the better. Have you just come off the Ferry? :dancing03: I'm not sure I follow what you mean? Oh no he won't. Lionel is a liability. In fact I'll go as far as to say that it was simply the number of goals that Lionel single-handedly shipped from his lack of defensive ability that got us relegated. Before you argue this point, I suggest you look back through the BBC archives at our games since last January and tally up all the goals that are scored from crosses from where Lionel should have been defending.
  19. :party01: We won 2-0 against the team that is at foot of the table. "Let's not get carried away here" should be the lesson learnt last week. My mistake, eh?
  20. :023: Let's hope it's not up to you to scout ICT's players!
  21. Are you off your rocker? How many goals have we shipped from that area of the pitch since Lionel was found out? The last thing (and I do mean last) is to take Lionel into a defence that already looks weak with Bulvitis in it. Graham Shinnie is learning from a cracking left back and in time will replace Golabek. Djebi-Zadi has no place in the team and folk like you calling for him to be reintroduced will do the team no good at all.
  22. There was no one in the squad today that we could shuffle around. Obviously we have no other centre backs at the moment so the only option was to move Tokely inside. He was having a decent game at fullback so why move him? Do you honestly rate Bulvitis? I appreaciate you either are from or live in Latvia but that doesn't mean you have to blindly support him. Personally I think Bulvitis and Djebi-Zadi are the poorest footballers ever to pull on an ICT shirt.
  23. What decent shift was this? I must have missed that today.
  24. Easily one of the most boring games we've played this season (Erics goal excepted). Only the Diddy Cup "clashes" with County and Montrose were worse. Very disappointed that there were no changes to the team after last weeks farce. Bulvitis was his usual s***e self. Munro had a couple of howlers as well. Butcher made the right choice in taking off Imrie after Half time. He was terrible. Rooney was guff. Positives? Well we won I guess, albeit against a 2nd division outfit. Also is Duncan having a decent game not one of the first signs of the apocalypse?
  25. A list of those with the clubs blood on their hands... George Fraser Graham Bennet Sandy Catto David Cameron Willie Finlayson Ian MacDonald These are at least the folk that can be held accountable. The actual perpetrator who it appears can't be touched by mortals is David Sutherland. Grassa became DoF by having played football (at Highland League level) and is good personal friends with David Sutherland. They appear to be the prerequisites for the role.
