Just back from SS4 Strathrory. Stage cancelled after car 24 spun out at the flying finish and injured his co-driver. IIRC, only 22 cars actually ran on SS4.

What I laugh at is the places selling "Gold plated" or "Oxygen Free" HDMI cables - as if it makes a difference to the signal.

only a tenner n all I'd cry into my cornflakes if I thought someone had fleeced me ?10 for a cable. The prices some places charge is nothing short of robbery.

I'm entirely unsurprised at your predicament. BB Desktop Manager is a contender for one of the worst examples of software I have ever used. It not only takes a fortnight to install, but once you get it installed it doesn't do the job it's supposed to. Upon discovering this, naturally you'd want to uninstall it. Good luck with that because the uninstaller leaves the registry in a complete mess. Orange can only really provide support for the phone features - making/receiving calls, texts, and network connectivity. They are not legally required to provide support for the handset features. Blackerry (Research in Motion) are a bit like Microsoft in that they are reluctant to provide free support for anything. Give a Bluetooth adapter a try.

It's a bit of a convoluted process unless you have a bluetooth adapter on your PC. The alternative is to install Blackberry Desktop Manager which is a horrible, horrible bit of software.

I think we can take a lot of positives from todays game. We were beaten by sheer power and a blitz defence that we obviously didn't expect. How many times did we turn the ball over only for the scrum-half to not even see the ball before it got turned over again? I really liked our back play today. It's been a long time since I've seen a Scottish back line look so threatening. The one weakpoint in the back line though is fly-half. We badly need a fly-half that can kick the ball well. Parks and Godman are both bloody awful.

Presumably you already have an XP Home license then? By far the easiest solution will be for you will be as follows: 1) Backup all data that you intend to keep. 2) Get your hands on an XP Home CD. You don't need to buy one as you'll be paying for a new license (it's the license that costs all the money). 3) Format and reinstall XP Home 4) Install XP Service Pack 3 5) Run Windows Update to bring your computer up to date.

Not a problem if you did - PM away. Bit of a long road for a short cut but yes you could. It'd be far easier to copy the data off your disk, then just flatten/reinstall XP on it and replace the data. So wait, are you wanting XP or Ubuntu? Or are you wanting to Dual-Boot?

1) OS upgrades are non-reversable. Once you upgrade you're stuck with it. 2) If you want to go down the route of making a partition like that, you'll need a partition utility like Partition Magic. Live mail will work because it's a web app. If you use Ubuntu you'll need to use an MSN Messenger compatible alternative like Pidgin. 3) It should be possible to retain all of your data and reinstall XP, then put all of your data back in place.

Anyway, after watching the highlights last night - it's pretty clear that Shinnie is the only left back we have left at the club capable of playing. With Golly out injured at the moment and Lionel, well he just plain can't play football, Shinnie can do a job for us there under the guidance of Munro. Lionel simply cannot play another game for us this season - he can't be trusted.
