  1. To use a 4-3-3 properly, we'd need wing backs not a couple of 30-something full backs. You know, the type of athletic player capable of charging down those really wide area's that we have at TCS then when the attack breaks down, he should be able to get back to defend in no time at all. Otherwise we'd be totally defenseless on the wings. Opposition wingers could get as far as the final third, virtually unopposed. Bad times. In short, we will not see a proper 4-3-3 (the way we'd all imagine it) any time soon. Unless it's against us. I say we stop this nonsense of playing Imrie up front, get him on the left wing, get Hayes on the right have McBain in the middle, and Sanchez playing slightly behind Foran and Rooney/Barrowman (until Odhiambo comes back).
  2. Fair do's. I can assure your good self, my Rangers post had tongue firmly in cheek. ;)
  3. Did you even read the reasons given? Perhaps RiG isn't affected by the ignore list as he's a Mod?
  4. The comparison of ICT to a shop keeper is ridiculous though. A shop keeper is in the retail business, they buy in a product, and sell it on at a profit. ICT are in the entertainment business. You wouldn't for example, go to watch a play at Eden Court then demand your money back after it "because it was a bit s**t." Would you?
  5. Of course I am, I was having a dig at the Rangers "yooth" setup. Are you?

Ok, so what can be done about it?

How have we managed to survive for so long when these idiots are clearly only capable of running a Highland league level outfit?! We really are an absolute joke. :(

Bennet isn't fit to direct traffic, let alone a football club.

All the more reason to present the SPL with the bill for making a "rule" that FIFA does not recognise.

As am I. Surely if we were to fail with our appeal there would be sufficient grounds to sue the SPL for this?
  11. While I wouldn't throw my season ticket onto the pitch, I certainly regret buying it so far.
  12. Aye ok, but Mark Brown was a product of the Rangers conveyor belt of world class young talent.

Any time Rooney has come on (with the exception of the penalty he scored) he hasn't be able to finish a fish supper let alone a scoring opportunity.
  14. Sutherlands "power struggle" with Savage.
  15. How long before Mark Brown, Michael Fraser and Barry Robson are linked with moves back here Mark Brown and Barry Robson are by no stretch of the imagination "local".
  16. We had him on loan - the loan expired at the end of the season. Simple as that.

    Angus Cromarty kens, ye ken?

You see Duncan "working very hard" because he's chasing the guy he has just given the ball to! I've said it on a different thread that Cox has become a shadow of his former self for the last month or so. In fact, the last time Cox showed up for a game was against Dundee. I stand by my statement though, Duncan is attrocious. Cox can at least pick a 5 yard pass.

I have to say I'm not looking forward to the inevitable rebuilding process that we will have to go through when (not if) we fail to win promotion. We can kiss goodbye to Esson, Foran, Hayes, Cox, Odhiambo and virtually all of the players that we have on short-term contracts. If Savage is planning something of a coup, may I suggest he tries it sooner rather than later as Sutherland is fecking killing us.

For me, Cox has slowly deteriorated from his good start to the season. In the space of 2 months, he has become a shadow of his former self. I mean, I failed to notice he was on the field yesterday until I saw him chasing a ball at the north end of the pitch in the second half.

A team of: Esson Proctor Tokely Munro Golabek Ross------McBain------Hayes Sanchez Foran------Imrie Would be an ultimately better team than the s***e we have to put up with at the moment. Once Odhiambo is back, I'd play him on the right hand side in place of Ross to terrorise full backs and get plenty of crosses into the box from the goal line.

The important thing to remember here is that we can't actually do anything about the root of all the problems at the club because he's officially not accountable for anything. This is a man who relinquished the chairmanship, but not his controlling stake in the club so he could be "out of the limelight" I think was the term he used at the time. Ultimately, our club is slowly but surely being killed and there isn't a sodding thing any of us can do.

    McBain.

Not buying this pish about "a thankless role" - and let's be honest here, it's just plain pish. It makes me wonder just how much some of you who trot that out actually know about football. Because if you actually make a point of just watching Duncan during a game, he doesn't do anything. Sure he might get the occasional tackle right but then after he gives the ball straight back to an opponent 5 yards away with a "mis-placed" pass - he then has to run like hell after the ball to make it look like he's working really, really hard. Duncan is f**king attrocious and isn't fit to polish the football boots in the changing room. His whole "contract saga" a while back made me want to vomit.
