  1. Well that's very strange as I saw him not 10ft away from me at 12:40 this afternoon at the stadium...
  2. Are you absolutely certain of that? I know otherwise...
  3. Aye just got my ticket.
  4. What midfield were you watching? The midfield I watched wouldn't look out of place at Grant Street.

Who's "they"? I'm talking about a poor excuse for a majority shareholder. Dismiss it as "nonsense" if you like. Something doesn't smell right at the club and I'm pretty confident that the source of the smell, is "no longer in the limelight" - his words, not mine.

Call it a conspiracy theory, but I genuinely think that since Brewster was re-hired - the plan has been a return to the First Division. Unfortunately it looks like the plan is for us to remain here for the foreseeable future.

The one man behind all of our problems unfortunately can't be touched - a change of Board won't change anything.
  8. Firstly, the crap we are getting now is not acceptable at all. Look at the crap we got under Brewster... and now the crap we have under Butcher. Both managerial stints have something in common, and it's a lot higher up than a manager. Our board are puppets and the puppet master doesn't give two s**ts about football - that is the reality of the situation we face.
  9. Only just read that now. Great minds think alike obviously. Productivity related pay - it's the only sensible option at the moment.
  10. Surely Terry is well within his rights to get the squad told "Right lads, you are playing for your wages this week. ***** performances will mean fines and docked wages. Go out there and get the job done."
  11. The players don't deserve to go out on the ****.
  12. Where to start? Does anyone else still disagree that Duncan is ******* ****? He should have been punted long ago. Same goes for Barrowman. I shudder to think how much both are milking from us to do absolutely **** all. Bulvitis - You sir are fast getting on my tits. Either up your game or you can just **** off in January. Shinnie and Ross were a breath of fresh air today. I look forward to seeing them in the team more often. Hayes should have been MotM. To summarise, this just isn't acceptable. We need a midfielder capable of taking charge of the game, Duncan and Stratford clearly aren't up to the task.

So what are "Airdrie Utd" doing in the First Division then?

Interesting that you keep saying "C'mon the diamonds" when the diamonds died a death a long time ago. Coatbridge United are just plastic diamonds punching above their level at the moment. I mean lets face the facts here, had Livingston not been relegated to the 3rd, you would be playing in the sea-side leagues, would you not?

Allow me to put this in a manner you are likely accustomed... "Yoor patters pyoor pish, man."
  16. England will not win the World Cup. A full strength Netherlands team would absolutely destroy England if they were to meet.

Can't see that being true as he signed a contract at the start of the season. He'll do for covering Golly (Are we allowed to say this now after all that went on?) and Shinnie.

I agree entirely actually. We have Hayes, why aren't we using him as much as we can? He's proved he's capable of getting past his man! Against County, I lost count of the number of times I saw Hayes in the centre of midfield.

[Pedantry Alert]But you didn't say "some of the fans" you said "100% of the fans".[/Pedantry Alert] ^_^
  20. Calling it like I see it... Obviously you see it differently.

    1) I have merely pointed out the hypocrisy of some of the fans in picking this player for the LB slot in the upcoming game selection and then coming on here stating he is not fit to wear an ICT shirt. Where am I wrong?? You are wrong in that I have never, ever said I wish LDZ to be part of our starting lineup. If I have never said it, I'm pretty certain there are others in the same boat - thus blowing your "100%" stat out of the water.
  22. How did playing with 10 men relegate us? As I recall, we played for a long time with 10 men comfortably, without conceding, no? What relegated us was a poor cross from where LDZ should have been defending, being scrappily knocked in by Higdon.
  23. Jay_7 replied to Doofer's topic in Caley Thistle
To clarify for you - you claimed 100% of the fans on this forum want LDZ at left back and have done over the last year. Hence my "not even close" comment. IMO over the last year I'd go with a figure of around 60-70%. I haven't given my opinion on the rest of your post but since you're interested: I believe LDZ cost us the game against County. (Note the difference from what you've suggested). I don't believe the booing was inspirational to the player, but I do believe it was necessary to highlight to Butcher that the fans have had enough of LDZ attempting to play football.
  24. Jay_7 replied to Doofer's topic in Caley Thistle
And there is the difference. You said 100% of the people that posted - something I'm not disputing. "absent friend" just said 100% of the people on this forum, which is simply not true. Even from when Zadi started playing under Butcher I have voiced my opinion that I'd prefer to see McBain playing there ahead of him - something many fans at the time agreed with.
  25. I did a fair bit of editing before you posted your reply... :P
